Great place to stay

It was terrible weather,but had a great stay. Yale tour,Foxwood and great restaurants,especially Lobster Shack, and Nick's pizza. Great food, great service. Would stay again

Summer cottage

Great location. Nice neighbors. Comfortable bed. Abundance of linens, beach blankets. Nice and convenient washer and dryer on site. Wish there was a tv in the bedroom. Living room couches dated. Overall happy with stay.

Good Location Bad Bed Mattresses

The cottage was in a good location and was very well stocked. The negative feature was the thin and uncomfortable mattresses that made sleeping difficult.

Nice stay by the beach

This lovely beach house had everything we needed. The neighborhood was charming and the neighbors were delightful! Lanna was always easy to communicate with.

Lovely Cottage in Great Location

We really enjoyed this quaint cottage. It had everything we needed in working order. It was clear that the cottage was from a bygone era, but that made it all the more charming. Its many amenities include a washer-dryer, and dishwasher! The beach is at the end of the block and was clean and peaceful. Lanna was a great host. I would definitely stay here again.

Great breach weekend

Our family had a great long weekend here. The cottage was clean and comfortable (with good a/c and plenty of hot water), and had everything we needed. Good location for mixing time at the beach with a visit to New Haven. East Haven town beach was an easy walk and perfect for our 8-year-old. We hope to come back next summer!

Comfortable with easy beach access

The host was very responsive. The property was very comfortable with everything you need right there. There are small beaches within walking and quite large beaches within driving distance. Great relaxing stay.

Beach front serenity

This 2 bedroom cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a very relaxing week at the CT beach. I would definitely come back.

5 Fantastic Weeks

We spent 5 wonderful weeks at the little cottage. It was well stocked. Check in was very easy and we also received a very nice welcome gift from Lanna. She is very responsive to any questions or needs you might have. There is a nice little private beach at the end of the road, and its just a short walk to the public beach and splash pad. There are two restaurants within walking distance and we also found that the neighbors were very friendly. We would definitely rent again from Lanna. Mary and Wayne H.

Holiday cottage

Lanna was fantastic in communicating with me and made us feel very welcomed by leaving us a bottle of wine upon our arrival. The house had everything we needed. It was like we were staying in s friend’s house. The area is lovely and convenient!

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful time during our stay this is our second time coming here and I must say Lanna was great dealing with! The house was clean had everything in it - half of the things I brought with me stayed unopened - we had lots of fun kids enjoyed it and we will do it again

Perfect Cute and Cozy Beach Cottage

It was just perfect! Cute, cozy and very well-equipped beach cottage only two steps from the seahsore. We spent beautiful and relaxing days there and Lanna was very welcoming and helpful in providing us with useful tips for dining out and sightseeing. We appreciated all of it - including the nice welcoming package. We will be back for sure. Thank you very much!

Well pleased!

We stayed during a rainy and very cold weekend and the home was perfectly comfortable for our family: 2 adults and 2 children (11yr and 6yrs.) The home is very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. The owner was quick to answer any questions that we had. There were no problems at all during our stay. The beach and playground were a short walk and the neighbors are nice. We would stay again if in the area.

Cute cottage with friendly neighbors.

Very convenient place to stay when visiting family. More comfortable then a hotel. I felt at home. Liked the fact that I could cook my own meals and wash clothes,etc. It was easy to call Lanna for any questions regarding the property. She was always responsive. Fun to be able to walk to the town beach and two good places to eat nearby.

This is a small community. Many families have owned houses here for generations. It is very safe and friendly. The beaches are never crowded and are often deserted. It is unusual to be able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the same beach. You will feel like staying in the neighborhood so it is convenient that there are two restaurants on the street within walking distance. Once you come you will feel right at home. See you at the beach!

It is a beautiful beach! It is a short trip from the big metropolitan areas of New York, Boston and Providence using either i-95 or the Shore Line Train. With casinos ( Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods),shops, antiquarians, historical landmarks , Yale University and easy access from I 95 and I91, if you did want to leave the beach there is plenty to do!
