Enjoy your visit to Cape Cod in our neat and clean apartment located in Marstons Mills. "Blue Fish" is the second floor of a duplex home located on our property in a private setting. It features a renovated bathroom with full tub, one bedroom with full bed, eat-in kitchen and a new full sleeper sofa for extra sleeping in the living room, large smart television, small deck to enjoy your morning coffee, and wireless internet. Parking for two cars available and your boat/trailer as well! We have a gas grill and firepit for you use too. Lovell's Pond is just down the road, as are several walking trails and the Cotuit Center for the Arts & Kettleers Baseball Team. Blue Fish is a 10 minute drive to Mashpee Commons (large outdoor shopping center with restaurants, movies and bowling), the quaint village of Osterville (Wimpy's is our favorite restaurant or Crisp/also much boutique shopping), Cotuit (semi-professional baseball games/The Kettle Ho, a fun watering hole) and many more sites. Blue Fish is a perfect homebase for you to explore all that the Cape offers. If you have a larger group, check out our lower unit “Sand Shark” (Property ID 2395557) which sleeps 5.

Our stay here was the perfect little getaway for our Fourth of July weekend! My boyfriend and I got full use out of the fire pit and the provided board games. The location was an easy drive to most of the Cape and our hosts were very responsive :)

Cozy place

Sandra and Rob were great hosts. The location was perfect as we spent most of our days in highly populated areas sightseeing. Sandra gave great recommendations within the area and we appreciated the communication. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great hosts and location

This apartment what exactly what I needed for a two-week work trip and fit my needs perfectly. It is tucked behind a residential neighborhood area and felt very quiet and safe. Rob and Sandra were great hosts in their communication and willingness to let me stay another night. Would highly recommend them!

Great EXperience

This location perfectly met our needs. as it was in close proximity to stores, restaurants, things to do .. and nearby relatives. Sandra & Rob were proactive in their communication .. and checked in to make sure that things were going well. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, well located apartment

Easy access to Mashpee and Falmouth. Well appointed, clean, cozy bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Plenty of room for 2. Fire pit looked like fun for cooler weather but was a warm August so didn’t use. AC was outstanding. Highly recommend staying there!

The apartment was very nice and well equipped. Unfortunately during our stay the downstairs tenants were loud and on Saturday had a party that was really loud, so much that you could here out to the street.

We wish you had texted us that evening as we would have spoken to the guests downstairs and asked them to quiet down. We post a written note in each unit asking people to be respectful of each other and it is unfortunate that they did not respect the rules. In the future, please let your hosts know while they can actually do something to fix the situation to make your stay more pleasant. Giving us a bad review of 2 stars after the fact is unfair and only hurts us in the future, not the rude guests. Communication in a timely manner is always key. For clarity, we were home the evening in question and saw no visitors enter the unit, so there was no party. Our home is between Bluefish and the street and we heard nothing coming out of the lower unit. Of course, we can't hear what people do inside, and we don't deny that they must have bothered you, but please don't represent the situation unfairly. We do everything we can to earn 5 star ratings and are bummed out that you didn't give us a chance to earn that from you.

Great escape to The Cape!

Sandra and Rob were great hosts! The apartment was cool and ready to go when we arrived! They were so helpful with ideas when we thought the hurricane was hitting! We made it to Riddle Escape Room, ride the Falmouth Bike trail, Raw Bar, beaches and relax at the pad! Great yard! We played soccer and my son got to run around. We even walked out back to a pond, skipped some rocks! Great adventures! We would love to return here again !

Review Cape

The unit was clean and the owners were very helpful. The things we didn't like were that there was no light switch when we first entered the unit - it was about 5 steps in and past the kitchen. Luckily we came in when it was light outside. Also, there was no curtain on the bathroom window.

Thanks for staying with us and we appreciate the feedback. The bathroom window is on the second floor and overlooks the woods, but since you brought it up we have installed shades for our future guests' comfort. The light switch is only 2 steps away, but we always leave a light on if our guests are arriving after dark :)

For the price, the condition of the interior leaves much to be desired. For example, one kitchen chair was duck taped together, furniture was old and mismatched, and basic supplies were lacking (not one hanger). Also, it is the second story of a 2 story house, and the interior staircase leading to the first floor is not blocked off, which could be a potential safety issue (There is a locked door at the bottom). Also, getting up the exterior stairs to enter the unit might be a challenge for some people, especially carrying luggage. The second night we were there, the people downstairs had taken the parking, and we were woken up at 1:30 in the morning by their loud, prolonged social activity. We were instructed to be considerate of downstairs occupants, but they were definitely not considerate of us. If you don't mind these types of things, it would be okay. A plus is that there was ac.

Comfortable Apartment on the Cape

My wife and I stayed in this property for 3 weeks while visiting our family in nearby Mashpee. It was well apportioned and was comfortable. The property is in a convenient location for the Barnstable area. The hosts were very accommodating. We would definitely stay at this property again.
