New swimming pools at the Ellis House and Cottages completed January 1, 2024. The cottages pool at beach is shared. You have the option to rent the entire property. THE LISTING YOU ARE REVIEWING NOW IS FOR THE FIVE BEDROOM ELLIS HOUSE, but you can also rent the Three Cottages as well and have the entire property for just your group. The cost is almost double for the entire property. The beach for the Cottages and the Ellis house is shared similar to a hotel. Purchased in 2020 by a family that owns several high-end vacation rental properties, The Keys Compound was completely renovated with new furniture, beds, roofs, impact windows, painting, and landscaping.

The Keys Compound property is 2.5 acres with155 feet of beach front which can sleep up to 34 guests in four different homes totaling 11 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 4 full kitchens each with outdoor Weber BBQ grills and deep-water dockage for boats up to 45 feet. Our goal is to create a private experience for our guests, so we offer the following three rental options (please see our description of each cottage, photos and video):

THE RATES AND AVAILABILITY ON THIS LISTING ARE FOR PACKAGE 1 DESCRIBED BELOW WHICH IS THE RENTAL OF THE ELLIS HOUSE ONLY. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN OPTION 2 WHICH IS THE RENTAL OF THE THREE COTTAGES OR OPTION 3 DESCRIBED BELOW WHICH IS ALL FOUR HOMES. The price of Option 3 is usually double the price of Option 1. The common areas of the the property such as the beach and the dock are shared by all guests.

Package 1: Rent the new ELLIS House which has five bedrooms / 5.5 bathrooms and sleeps up to 16 guests with double occupancy in all beds queen size or larger (10) and single occupancy in the three bunk beds (6). Nightly rates listed here are for the Ellis House.

Package 2: Rent the 3 cottages named “BEACH”, “TIKI PALM”, and “ISLAND BREEZE”. These 3 cottages have a total of six bedrooms six baths and sleep up to 20 guests with double occupancy in each bed. Package 3: Rent all four homes described in Option 1 & 2 which provides exclusivity of the entire property.

“Ellis House”: Five-bedroom / 5.5 bath two-level home completed in 2019 (approximately 3,200 Sqft) that sleeps up to 16 guests:
Bedroom 1: king bed (upstairs)
Bedroom 2: king bed (upstairs)
Bedroom 3: queen Bed (ground floor)
Bedroom 4: two queen beds (ground floor)
Bedroom 5: three twin bunk beds (down stairs)
Two separate living rooms (one up and one down)

“Beach Cottage”: Two Bedroom/ two bath (Approximately 1,700 sq feet) that sleeps up to 8 guests:
Bedroom 1: king bed
Bedroom 2: king bed
Two living rooms each with a queen size pull-out couch

“Tiki Palm Cottage”: Two Bedroom/ Two Bath (Approximately 1,200 sq feet) that sleeps up to 6 guests:

Bedroom 1: king bed
Bedroom 2: queen bed
Living room with a queen size pull-out couch

“Island Breeze Cottage 2”: Two Bedroom/ Two Bath (Approximately 700 sq feet) that sleeps up to 6 guests:

The Keys Compound is located in the northern section of the Florida Keys between Key Largo and Islamorada (69 miles from Miami Airport), a 5 minute boat ride to Tavernier creek for ocean access, kayaks and paddle boards available at our beach, snorkel and swim from our beach (lots of fish under our dock), kayak launch ramp on property (jet skiing or water skiing in the gigantic and usually calm bay water behind the property is super fun), best sunset in Florida Keys, two fire pits, located close to the best restaurants in Key largo and Islamorada, and great location to host weddings, corporate retreats or other private events. We have recommendations for restaurant reservations, boat rentals, fishing or snorkeling trips, and other local excursions. (There is an additional event fee depending on the size and type of event.
