Just completed $3.4M tower renovation(inclusive of pool and workout facilities)!!
Gulf-front with unobstructed views from this newly renovated 5th floor unit that sleeps 8 people.
Hidden Dunes Gulfside, #502, features a completely renovated King master bedroom with unobstructed gulf views, a second bedroom with 2 NEW queen-sized beds and remodeled bathrooms. NEW carpet installed in May, 2020 and all tile floors have been professionally cleaned.
Both bedrooms have flat screen televisions with a 65" flat screen SMART television in the living room. The living area has a queen-sized sleeper sofa and the dining area seats 6 with room for 3 more at the bar. Full sized washer and dryer included in laundry area near kitchen.
Free high-speed internet access. Two beach chairs and one umbrella provided by owner for guest use (these chairs are inside the condo and is not setup by the beach service company).
Pack-n-Play in unit for guest use.

Beautiful view, great location

This unit is beautifully decorated, has incredible views, super comfortable beds, and was a great set up for our family, especially with two queen beds in the second bedroom. There were a few issues with the condo, and to the management company’s credit, they addressed most of them in a timely manner. The condo smelled strongly of mildew upon entering, the air filter needed changing, the closet housing the AC was coated in dust, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. The air filter and damp rid were changed out in a timely manner, which did improve the smell. The dust was not vacuumed out of the closet, so I used the vacuum to get as much as I could. They did call the internet company promptly on our behalf, but it was four days later before it was fixed. Additionally, the balcony had not been cleaned prior to our arrival as the table and rug were covered in picked off nail polish from the previous guest. As others have mentioned, guests should plan on supplying some basic kitchen staples such as salt and pepper and coffee filters. There were no dish towels or cloths provided either. With a deep clean and some extra attention to detail, this really is a lovely, comfortable condo. Our family very much enjoyed our stay in Destin; we were just disappointed that this unit didn’t quite meet the standards we have become accustomed to.

Updated and comfortable

My family and I have been staying in the Hidden Dunes property for over 30 years. Gulfside 502 has been renovated and decorated beautifully. The best part…it was so very comfortable. Very relaxing. We will return to this condo.

The condo itself was great! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The overall building was fine, but very outdated. I know most people don’t workout during vacation, but it’s nice to have the option available. The gym was very very old. But again, the condo was great and would absolutely stay again!

A few necessities missing

The property was just as expected, with clean conditions and a beautiful view. My one complaint was a lack of a few necessities. There was no hair dryer anywhere to be found, and when I reached out to the rental company about it, they told me some stores where I could purchase one. Not only did I not have space in my luggage to bring home a hair dryer, but I also didn’t want to waste time going shopping for one. There also weren’t things like salt and pepper in the kitchen, which makes the stay a little more pleasant.

Perfect location for family beach/pickleball

The condo was perfect, plenty of room, beautiful views, very quiet and close to the pool and beach. We enjoyed cooking with all the amenities and played pickleball.

Destin vacation

The apartment is pretty and all right, the view is fantastic but the dishwasher needs to be replaced and for what we were paying it would be nice to have the chairs & umbrella included.The building needs more maintenance, one elevator was broken the whole week and the second one failed many times too. Not sure if I will come back to Hidden Dunes again, sorry!

Beautiful View!

The 5th floor was an excellent location-such a beautiful view of the ocean and the amazing sunsets!! We were there for the 4th of July and had a great view of the beach fireworks show from the balcony! The furnishings were nice and mostly updated. The grounds were clean, pretty, and well maintained. We love that it is a gated community|~ feels very safe! A few things to note: the ice machines didn’t work, the primary bed had a very soft mattress topper that might not be comfortable if you have back issues, there was a coffee pot but no keurig, and the carpet in bedrooms needed cleaning or updating to match the updates in the rest of the unit. Overall, a very nice stay!

Relaxing time

Our family of 4 had a very relaxing trip for a few days. The bed in the master was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of bed! You could just relax and stare at the gulf for hours from bed. There were beach chairs and toys, but not an umbrella as advertised. The separate ice machine was inoperable. To get the dishwasher to work you have to push it closed very hard. Prior to checking in, I inquired to see if a crockpot was available in the unit and I was told one wasn’t provided in the condo and I had to bring mine. There are 2 crockpots as well as an air-fryer in the condo. The views are amazing and it was nice to be able to eat outside as a family. Property outside the condo was very clean and felt very safe. Beach attendants were super friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo
