Comfortable

Property needs a deep clean. Beds and linens were clean, however the floors were dirty, cabinets had food spots and walls had marks. I swept old pet hair and dirt in every room, and with no mop available, I had to use clorox wipes to spot clean the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Massage chairs were nice, although the one closest to the windows didnt work. My family enjoyed our stay, however if I have to pay a pet deposit, I would expect a clean house.

Beautiful property and view site

Beautiful immaculate well furnished property with awesome views from both floors. I appreciated the accessible shower on the upper floor as age and balance can be an issue. The stairs both interior and exterior are very steep and can be hazardous for someone with age or mobility issues and for getting suitcases, food etc to the lower living level. Access to the installed stair chair would have been helpful. Very well stocked kitchen and utensils. Bring extra Keurig pods.

NICE GETAWAY

My husband and I wanted together away and do some easy hiking with our pup. Coastal Vista was perfect. We found great views on our walks around the preserve and saw the elephant seals. Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. We highly recommend this beautiful home. It is very well cared for.

Beautifully Refurbished

Labor Day Retreat

Perfect getaway for us and another couple. We stayed with a dog and a baby and there was plenty of room for all of us. Having the two separate living areas was very helpful and the views were stunning.

Cambria Girls Get Away

This was the perfect property for our girls get away…party of 4. Conveniently located to a number of activities and beaches. The house was super comfortable with the coziest beds ever. Kitchen was well stocked. Perfect house if you had a dog; super secure fencing. Having the two floors provides a lot of privacy if needed.

Ocean views and great location

Traveled with 1 couple and dog. The upstairs quarters were perfect for downtime. The downstairs with kitchen, living room and bedroom/bathroom were perfect for socializing.

Great house!

Love the quiet location. Beautiful views. Very nicely outfitted. Best wifi I ever experienced in the central coast (though it went out in the storm for about 12 hours). Teen daughter got her own suite upstairs!

Delightful home

Excellent for pets. Fenced yard, easy maintenance floors throughout. Instant response from manager when we had questions. Beautiful view and great layout for two couples. Cambria is a delightful place to visit and we enjoyed Robin's an eclectic restaurant in the town. The food was delicious.

The host is wonderful. From the front of house it doesn’t do look special, but the pictures on Verbo make it know. Beds so comfortable, recliners beyond expectations. The kitchen well stocked. The patios & fenced yard, just beyond explaining views of local wildlife, trees & the ocean.

Once again, wonderful!

We rarely stay at the same place when traveling. This is our exception - visited two years in a row. Comfortable and relaxing. View of the coast line and lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, hawks, etc.). Great communication with host. Wonderful time, once again.

A pleasant time in Cambria

Pluses: quiet neighborhood with good views from house. Well-stocked kitchen with wide array of condiments, pots, pans, and tableware. Soap, shampoo in baths. Plenty of pillows and blankets in bedrooms. We really liked JJ’s pizza and Linn’s restaurant. Minuses: word of caution, especially to seniors - steep stairs to first level, with sharp turn at landing. Directions on how to turn on heat using remote controls would be appreciated. (We were looking for a thermostat!). We would also have appreciated access to the washer and dryer. Overall, we would return to this property.

Cambria view

Nice well appointed and clean home. Spectacular, Ocean view and Sunset view from top deck although quite small. Appointments were nice but travel from the upper story down to the lower story were problematic. The furniture was comfortable. The water pressure in the beautiful upstairs shower was almost nonexistent.

Family Getaway

This property is awesome! We loved the balconies and view. The inside is wonderful and beautifully decorated! I did not realize you could get to upper level while inside and was great for all of us. Host was responsive and very nice! We were bummed about water shortage but did not take away from our wonderful experience. I would definitely rent again! We loved this location and so close to other family members homes! It was so quiet and beds comfy! Slept well and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend for a nice peaceful getaway!

Peaceful retreat

This house is nicely located in a very quiet neighborhood with an incredible sky high view of the ocean in the distance. From the top floor balcony, you will be at the same level in the sky as the larger birds floating and dancing in the wind. (Having an empty lot next door gave a special element of privacy). We found both levels of the house very clean. Our beds were very comfortable. The kitchen supplies were useful and dishes etc. well organized and plentiful. The yard is very secure, which is good especially if you have smaller dogs, however it is fairly steep. We used the area near the deck for our 2 small pups to use as needed since it was a bit more level. Great communication with the property owner. We hope to come again and relax as much as we did during our recent stay of 3 nights. Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your delightful place!

Lovely panoramic views

The property worked well for my wife and I and our friends, another married couple. The views from the top floor and the main floor below were lovely, looking out towards the ocean in the distance over the trees and community below. You can actually see the Hearst Castle from the balconies, using binoculars. House was well appointed and very quiet. We liked the fact that the house was almost split into two to offer privacy and self-sufficiency between the two floors , with separate entry doors but had an inside staircase that connected them together. We have 2 small terriers and we enjoyed walking them over to the nearby Greenspace Strawberry Canyon and the beautiful coastal walks at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The balconies were a great, safe place for the dogs to be as they are fenced in and they enjoyed looking out. Although the house yard is fenced in and safe to let dogs out we found that because our dogs are so low to the ground , much more yard debris got stuck to them, so we kept them to the balconies. We enjoyed watching the wild turkeys wandering around the neighborhood, the odd deer make appearances and many birds of prey circling amongst the trees. The migrating whales made an early showing on our coastal walks and a small group put on a display not far off the coastline, just north of Cambria. Sea otters were also visible but the best place to view them up close is at Morro Rock where large rafts of them seem to congregate. All in all, the house was a great place to base ourselves as we took off for our walks and wildlife spotting.

I have lived in San Luis Obispo County Since 1983, Currently living about 1 hour East of Cambria on 14 acres. Cambria and the coast- line north have always been a favorite, with little hidden beaches and a quiet pace. These treasured spots usually are less frequented by people, giving you the feeling that you have your own private beach. Coastal Vista was purchased to be a retreat and home to relax and enjoy the coast, with my family, friends and Host Guests. I also have a home in Downtown Paso Robles that I Host.
