This unique property affords LOTS of privacy, yet it's just a short drive to town or the beach. Sit out on the back-deck and enjoy the wildlife and Mother Nature. We had a lovely stay overall. It's in walking distance to the Cambria Christmas Market. The cottage itself is very roomy and we loved being surrounded by trees. However I did hit my head on a low hanging branch over the deck. I was aware of it but going back and forth to the grill it was inevitable. Also there's an email they send out with the check in instructions, save it. I forgot about it and tried calling them, during business hours, and got no response. Found the email and had to go into town to get the keys. A little inconvenient but it's not far.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The back deck was like a bird sanctuary; everything was organized and very clean. Fantastic location for a quiet getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My daughter and I were so pleased with the homie feel of Holly Hill Cottage. Everything was clean & well-stocked. The bathtub upstairs is HUGE and so relaxing after a day of watching Elephant Seals & exploring the local beaches! The surrounding property was awesome to walk with our dog. We saw wild turkeys, deer, squirrels & a variety of birds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cambria & plan on returning. We will absolutely be looking for places through Scenic Coast Property Management.

Funky little cottage

This unit isn't what I've come to expect from Scenic Coast property rental. It is very dated and not very comfortable. We would not stay there again again.

Was in Cali for work and was able to spend a couple day enjoying the beach and Cambria with my Daughter. Very cute house, great location to relax.

Loved this cabin on previous staysā€¦ even better this time with new laminate flooring and propane BBQ. Prefect serene, hillside location with forest view and easy access to town. Comfortable and well-equipped. Highly recommend!

Reviewer Comments: I enjoyed my stay at this "cottage" - It has two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs that has a large tub with a window to the treetops, and a half bath downstairs with a shower. The house feels spacious but cozy. There is a lovely deck off the dining room where you can spend cool outdoor time in the trees. I parked in the teeny tiny garage but next time I'll just park on the driveway - which has room for one car. Having the only shower downstairs from the bedrooms was odd, but bring a robe and you'll be fine!

Lovely!

The home is nestled in trees and yet a short drive to the ocean. For anyone fleeing HOT summer temps in their home town this area is a gorgeous respite. The bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom has a big bathtub with a gorgeous window out to the tree tops. For a shower you need to use the ground floor bathroom.

Beware!

House was very nice on the interior. Beds comfy, TV, kitchen, decor, all great. BUTā€¦Driveway will keep us from ever coming back! Not only is it incredibly short and steep right down to the tiny garage (which we never used.). But the driveway apron to the dirt road (which was also very steep) was a gravel and dirt ditch! No traction and lots of skidding. Gravel spraying our Chrysler 300 C, and city ordinance prohibits street parking! Recommend High profile vehicle with 4WD ONLY! .

The beds are great but the view from the deck is what we come back for. Great wildlife view and a wonderful place to decompress while on vacation. We no longer consider other properties if Holly Hill Cottage is available.

Location was central to the highway, coast and town of Cambria. Large bedrooms but no fenced yard for pets, shower downstairs (very noisy fan) and bath up where the bedrooms are, but overall a comfortable and reasonably priced rental and we enjoyed our stay.
