Perfect location for fishing and boating. The marina and ramp were within 1/4 mile from the neighborhood. The house was super clean and appointed with everything you could need to fix dinner for large groups of people. It couldnt be better!

Easy location and worked very well for my group. While we did not spend much time on property enjoying the view and what was offered, it was a great location to meet up with everyone each night.

The property was clean and even a few snacks were there! The layout is good. We had 3 generations, so the 3 floors with bedrooms worked great! We were able to make s’mores in a firepit. Management was very accommodating. Lots of spaceTo park, lots of outdoor and screen areas to enjoy the outdoors.

Revise for what you think: Great Lake House GetawayWe had a wonderful stay at this lake house! The property is beautiful, comfortable, and the location right on the lake was absolutely fantastic. Having the lake right outside made the trip especially enjoyable, and it was a great place for our group to relax, spend time together, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again.There were just a few minor things that could have made our stay even better. One of the three toilets was not usable, and the maintenance person came by the following day and let us know not to use it. It was a little inconvenient for our group to be down one bathroom, but we appreciated that it was addressed. We also ran short on toilet paper, so having a little more toilet paper and basic paper products available for larger groups would be helpful.We did notice a few roaches inside during our stay (at least three), so the property could probably benefit from a pest treatment. Since the other reviews mention how clean the house is, this may have simply been an isolated occurrence.We also appreciated that the Keurig had been replaced before our arrival — that was a thoughtful touch.Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely come back. The lakefront setting, beautiful property, and overall atmosphere made it a wonderful getaway. A few small maintenance and housekeeping details aside, we really enjoyed our stay!

The perfect lake house

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and Ken does a great job at communicating as well as providing essential items to his guests. This house offers everything that we need for a successful golf trip to Reynolds Lake Oconee. Highly recommend staying at this property.

Everything was perfect. The fish were biting the unit was clean. They were so many extras both in the kitchen and in the bathrooms as far as supplies and towels the beds were very soft or hard depending on what you want.

Perfect Lake House get away

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at Lake Oconee. The property was perfect for our needs and exactly as described in the description. Ken was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property!

Great respite and beautiful location on the lake

The property was exactly as described and the management was extremely communicative and accommodating. The house is perfect for a family or two, and the location and views of the lake cannot be beat. The house was clean and tidy, lots of extras to keep the family entertained during down times, and a beautiful dock on an area of the lake that is conveniently located near two public marinas.

Great experience!

A+ all around. Excellent communication from Ken, and the property is ideal for a short or long get away. Well-stocked kitchen, clean, steps to the water, and close to the 44 Bridge boat rental locations. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our lake vacation.

We were a group of 6 adults and four kids. We had adequate space for all of us. The kids enjoyed the game area downstairs while the adults appreciated the screened in porch.

Heaven on the lake

We had a staycation at lake oconee, this property was spectacular. Ken- the property mama get went above and beyond for us. We were just able relax and enjoy! Will definitely be back!

EVERYTHING about the Place was Peaceful and Beautiful. Only 1 dislike was Propane tank for Grill was less than half full. So we ran out of PROPANE. Other than that . The Experience was MUAH !!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar Creek Retreat. The space was perfect for our family of 8. The lower story game room and yard access was ideal for our 16-25 yo kids. They were able to go in and out to kayak, build a campfire, or sit on the porch without our elderly mother and dog being disturbed. The walls seemed to be well insulated for noise control, as well. The main floor common area had plenty of room for all of us to gather and watch tv or eat meals. The multiple porches were nice because everyone could “find a space” out of the main flow without being isolated. The kayaks and fire pit were used every day of our stay. We are already planning another trip to the area and we hope to stay at Sugar Creek again.

Perfect lake location

Loved our stay. So many outdoor seating options. We loved swimming off the dock and sitting by the fire pit. Great decks and views. Walked to the marina for fried chicken!Interior of the house is nice but not at all fancy. Beds were on the soft side. Would have appreciated some lake towels. The air fryer was nice. If we had kids, they would have had a blast with the ping pong and other toys. Would stay here again.

Great Lake

Ken was a good host, great communication and responded quickly to a small issue. However, the property owner should update some items, have the house and porches pressure washed and most of all, the owners boat should be removed and have the dock slip available for guests use as advertised. Overall, a nice, quiet location.

Another great summer vacation!

We were looking for an affordable home on the lake and this one was perfect! We were able to accommodate everyone's needs and keep a boat there for the week. House was fully equipped with everything you need, kitchen and toiletries. Kids loved playing cards on screen porch and fishing off dock. The lake was super quiet and great for our crew who was learning to ski. Would absolutely recommend this home! Ken was very responsive and had great information for us.

Thanksgiving Getaway

This house is exactly shown in the photos! They had everything you needed and could ask for. Loved the location and the peace the neighborhood gave. The only complaint I have is that the beds on the main level are not comfortable at all! They squeaked when moving and it felt like we were sleeping on top of a cardboard box with sheets. This needs to be updated.
