The Host is Great - The Property was Not.
I am not one to write poor reviews.. However, it's important to honestly point out what made it disappointing for the sake of the host and future visitors who are going to pay a decent amount of money to stay here. - I hope this review can spark change, best of luck.
Things to note from our experience:
- The Condominium complex is outdated and poorly upkept. There are no elevators which is a big deal since this unit is located on the third floor. Aggressive signage posted all around the complex is off-putting. Not well kept or cleaned - major spider webs in the stairwell and all over the railings outside. Outdoor pool was never cleaned and couldn't be used. Front gate security was difficult to deal with.
- Feral/Stray Cats everywhere! There is a "Cat Sanctuary" right next to the property that is filled with stray cats. These feral cats roam and liter the entire complex and you can find them sleeping on your vehicle in - very odd and not what I signed up for.
- The unit lacks TLC. The following things made us not want to spend significant time in the unit: The living room was poorly furnished, mismatched, and non-functional - part of an old couch was found outside on the porch, minimal lighting in living room made it dark, pillows and blankets on the couch were not cleaned, and there was an ACTIVE beehive located on the back porch.
- The host Bunmi was wonderful to work with - responsive and professional during our entire stay.
