Amazing beachside stay! You can literally step out of the living room glass doors, cross the lawn, and be on the sand. We saw turtles on the beach most nights during our September stay. The owner provides excellent beach gear (chairs, umbrella, snorkels, fins, boogie boards) and tons of towels. The in-unit washer/dryer was a massive plus for packing light. There’s no A/C, but the ceiling fans kept the place feeling comfortable. Because the bedroom is in the rear near the parking lot and elevator makes a very faint hum, but the sound of the ocean waves almost completely drowns it out. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean, big kitchen and a washer and dryer were very helpful for our trip. Private beach was awesome, too.

The property is very clean, to include all amenities (towels, bed sheets, kitchenware, etc) that were provided that made our stay enjoyable. Location is also great due to the proximity to everything ( beach, groceries, restaurants, etc.) Will recommend to friends and we’re planning to return in the near future.

A walk across the grass to the sand! When we opened the door to the property, we were thrilled, it is so much more beautiful than the photos show. And we had absolutely everything we needed, the owner has furnished this place with all you want for the perfect beach get away. We would stay here again in a heart beat. AND, the owner was so accessible for any questions we had during the week. Thank you so much, ALOHA!

Family vacation

We stayed here for a week and it was the perfect location with kids being right on the beach and having a pool. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Oahu!

The property was clean and the living space comfortable. The hostess Carole, had great, prompt communication. . The room was not quiet as construction began every morning early with constant backup beeping. The elevator is right outside the bedroom window as is construction and it is very noisy with people coming and going day and night. No A/C! No Fans! Very hot when you’re trying to sleep!! I’m not trying to paint a bad picture, I’m trying to be thorough in description. I did not find handicap access to the beach. If you’re staying at the condo, and decide not to sightsee it’s a great location. Otherwise most things are close to an hour away north or south. The beach view each morning was beautiful. Our needs were easily met with fluffy soft towels, fully equipped kitchen and bedding. Thoughtful preparation and pretty decor went into making this stay special for guest. Value for price, overall a little high but within fair range. Good WIFI

Birthday Getaway

The property was just what we were looking for. It was clean, well maintained, next to the beach with an ocean view and the owner was very friendly and accessible. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

This listing is completely as advertised. My wife and I had absolutely zero issues. Owner/manager are very responsive and helpful. Beach is awesome and the sea turtles are an added bonus. We loved not having the hustle a bustle of the big city and the north shore is so fun.

Nice place to stay on North Shore. Close to PCC and Kualoa Ranch. Sign up for a free Maika card at Foodland in Laie. You'll save a lot on groceries. Turtles on beach every night is fun and educational. Walk out to the beach from this 1st floor condo!

Amazing oceanfront stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle Haven. Carole was exceptional with communication. Check in was easy, peppery location was amazing. Had all of the necessities for a 6 day stay. Turtles on the beach after sunset and before sunrise each morning. Weather was very windy this time of year which made snorkeling hard, but didn’t damper our time!

Check in was easy and hassle free, Carole gave easy instructions and communicated great during our entire stay. We had no issues, very clean, all beach equipment was there and in great shape. Patio furniture perfect for sunrise, sunset, and having dinner. There is everything you need, with in close vicinity, shopping, groceries, and hiking trails. Saw turtles everyday on the beach.

Perfect Beach Getaway

My 10 year old daughter and I loved everything about the condo. Being able to literally walk out the door and onto the beach made our vacation a thousand times better! Geographically, the location is perfectly situated to easily explore the North Shore and surrounding areas. I highly recommend Carole’s place and hope to be back.

Loved Our Stay!

We were more than thrilled with our stay! The condo has everything you could need, and more! The view is incredible, and while walking the beach at night, we always saw several large sea turtles. The location is away from the hustle-and-bustle of the busy city, which we enjoyed. Carole, the property manager was easy to communicate with, and always readily available to offer suggestions nearby attractions. We can't wait to come back!

Relaxing Family Vacation

Overall, being able to wake up in the morning and walking out right on to one of the most beautiful beach on Oahu was amazing! The best part was waking up during sunrise with my son and walking towards the left side of the beach and seeing sea turtles, crabs, various types of birds and even sea cucumbers at the end of the beach. This trip felt like being in paradise while we were there.

Steps to the beach, steps to the gym!

Very clean, nice sheets and towels and beach chairs. Great for 2 people. We love to walk and there really wasn’t a place to do that. We did use the gym everyday. Nice selection of weights.

HI Ann, it's true our private little beach only lets you walk 15 min one way and 15 min the other but there is a wonderful walking paved path with horses all along the way about 10 min North. There are some beautiful mountain hikes close by as well, hopefully you will come back and try them. Thank you for coming!

The early bird sees the turtles

The location is great to visit Kualoa Ranch (<15 min), Polynesian Cultural Center (10 min), Turtle Bay Resort (20 min), the famous North Shore (30 min), Dole Plantation (~40 min), and about 45 min to Waikiki. Other stops near by include: Ted's Bakery for their famous pies, Hukilau Cafe - wonderful banana pancakes, and the famous Bonsai Pipeline.

If you want a secluded spot with the best private beach you can’t ask for me. Carole was amazing as an owner. Only one caveat… if the trade winds aren’t blowing it can get pretty warm in the condo. Only thing I can say that was negative.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property. The location is fantastic—just steps from the ocean, and the beach was never crowded. One of our favorite experiences was snorkeling nearby and seeing puffer fish, colorful tropical fish, and sea turtles every single day.The location was also perfect for exploring Oahu. We loved being close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and Kualoa Ranch. Stopping at Costco on the way from the airport and shopping at Safeway during our stay worked out great. There is also a charming little Catholic church nearby.Carole was an excellent communicator and always quick to respond. We especially appreciated being on the ground floor, which made everything very convenient.A few minor suggestions: Hawaii can be quite humid, and while we understand that many homes do not have air conditioning, a few additional fans might make sleeping more comfortable on warmer nights. The washer and dishwasher both worked but seemed to need a little tinkering. It would also be nice to have a few basic items available such as pens, postcards, and stamps.The no-shoes policy was a bit challenging for my nearly 80-year-old mother, who relies on supportive footwear, so hard floors all week were difficult for her.Overall, we had a relaxing stay and made wonderful memories. The daily turtle sightings, oceanfront location, and excellent communication made this a very special Hawaiian vacation.

Thank you Katie, I will amend the no shoes policy so that one can wear slippers (flip flops) in the house. In Hawaii most home are shoeless it's just a tradition. We are really more concerned about our adventurous visitors who hike up to the waterfalls and come in with the red clay dirt that's impossible to remove. Thank you for pointing that out. We are working on a portable AC, once the HOA confirms the new guidelines.

Paradise!

We absolutely loved this property! It's located on a quieter part of the island, which we really enjoyed. We absolutely slept to the sound of waves every night and watched the sun rise to the sound of the rooster crow every morning. We could often find sea turtles nearby after dark and took full advantage of the easy access to the beach. The property has plenty of amenities including beach gear and towels and access to a pool and workout room. The space is decorated beautifully, and we enjoyed everything about it!
