This truly Caribbean 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom villa sits amid lush, tropical, fruit bearing gardens and offers stunning vistas of the Caribbean Sea. Sunsets from the main deck are nothing short of spectacular. The villa enjoys a spacious living area furnished in the Caribbean style, with an open plan sitting room adjoining a dining area and a large well-equipped kitchen with a separate laundry room. All the living areas are cooled with ceiling fans. All of the three double bedrooms are air-conditioned and enjoy private balconies with sea views. The air-conditioned master suite on the top floor of the villa has a balcony with a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea. The villa and its gardens are private and feature a wonderful 30 ft. pool along with a pool side gazebo and lots of terrace areas for relaxing and watching the hummingbirds alight on the bougainvillea and the sail boats drift by. Enjoy sundowners on the patio and al fresco dining as the sun goes down and enjoy the colorful glow of twilight.

The place was absolutely amazing, a little hard to find with the google coordinates but I tried just to type in the Date house I had no other issues. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The locals are very kind and welcoming.

Incredible private stay

Amazing house with lots of old wood work and appeal. Place was spotless housekeeper does great job. Met us at check in and showed us around. Beautiful views. Love the old architecture felt right at home. Will definitely stay here again.

All in all a lovely stay

Property was lovely, staff lovely and proximity to beach really good. We did have two nights of literally no sleep (not good on holiday!) because of a drip onto the metal roof over our bed! However, this was sorted swiftly once we pointed the issue out. It was two nights though because it was weekend.

Date House is amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. Shantal was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed about the house & amenities. The location of the house is a little tricky. We called and Shantal provided detailed instructions.. it is truly a hidden gem. Very spacious and peaceful. I would recommend it to everyone and I will be back.

This is a beautiful house, big enough for the whole family! Everything was clean, every room had bathroom and beach towels. The pool is great to play and swim in. The house was cleaned properly. The bedrooms all did have good working AC. It's a very private area and you have a beautiful view of the ocean. The garden is also well kept. Nice balcony and patio with enough space for everyone to sit. The house is a little tricky to find at first but the concierge is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to come back one day.

Even though we arrived during the hurricane, lost power for 24 hrs and WiFi for 72 hours, our week at ā€˜The Date House' was INCREDIBLE! The home was very clean, comfortable and spacious, our party of six had plenty of room! The beds were very comfy, the kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of sunscreen, bug spray, beach mats and games for our group to enjoy. The Concierge team are fantastic and the house keeper is the most beautiful soul, she came to the home x3 times during the week to clean, provide towels and change bedding, she also runs a washing and grocery service which we found to be very helpful. In addition the home is a short walk to the Calabash resort where you will find a restaurant that overlooks the ocean! beautiful beach and another fabulous pool that our group also took full advantage of! - We can't wait to come back to The Date House! Thank you Blue Sky team

The Date House is a lovely, secluded getaway. The housekeeper is there each day and met us with rum punch when we arrived. The pool is great and the sunset views are stunning.

Blue Sky was the property manager for the Date House- great with communication. The Date house is my favorite of all the places that I've stayed. Incredible view, pool was fantastic, beautiful yard. Secure, comfy and can't wait to go back. Shantal the housekeeper who also met me upon arrival and departure was great. Visitors will probably want a car - about 5-10 mins from Rodney Bay unless there's traffic. The Date House was amazing and my favorite of all of the villas that I have stayed in while in St Lucia. Communication with Blue Sky as it's property manager was great and I will certainly hope I can reserve the Date House and work with Blue Sky in the near future

Date House is a lovely, authentic Big Caribbean home with a spectacular view of the ocean. You will feel like you are living in another era as you walk through the large main living room with high ceilings and ceiling fans. Gentle breezes move through the house flowing through the many windows and balcony doors. Next you'll be draw from the living room through the double door to expansive veranda porch flanked to massive columns and an unobstructed view of the ocean. You'll want to be home in the evening to enjoy cocktails or dinner as you watch the sunset over the ocean horizon. The master bedroom on the second floor has amazing view of the ocean to the west and charming cove to the north. The two bedrooms on the northern side of the house are also lovely with their private balconies. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen we have experienced of any home we have rented. I highly recommend requesting Anne Marie cook a traditional Caribbean meal for you. Anne Marie was a delightful host and housekeeper. You can tell she enjoys her work and takes pride in the care of the home. The pool is lovely and large enough to swim laps. Don't be intimidated by the rough road to get to the house. You will get use to it. And it's worth the bumpy ride when you arrive at the Date House oasis. I do recommend you rent an SUV or mini van, not a small sedan.

We had a great week in St Lucia. The house is nice, we used two of the three bedrooms. Both had AC. Beds are quite firm. Wifi worked great. The kitchen has just about everything you need along with an grill outside. The house was a nice home base, nothing fancy but it worked well and is certainly more affordable than many other houses with ocean views or the all inclusive resorts. The views are nice. There is one single story house in front but you still get a decent view of the ocean and some pretty sunsets out by the pool. This is a fine house to rent if you are going to rent a car (rent an SUV with 4 wheel drive) because you are going to need to drive to go anywhere except the Calabash Cove beach which is about a 5 minute walk. It is a small but beautiful beach. The walk down and back to the beach will get your heart pumping. There is a market which is a short drive from the house to get food. It has basic stuff, there is a much nicer market in Rodney Bay. As for activities, We did a group Catamaran tour, a private 1/2 day sail, Pigeon Island and the rain forest zip-lining. All of which were great fun. You definitely want to show up early for the rain forest tram/Zipliniing. We were the first ones there so there was no waiting, By the time we were done, the cruise ship people started to show up and there were lines and looked to be lots of waiting around. Definitely recommend doing a dinner at the Naked Fisherman which a little north of Pigeon Island. We went on a Wednesday night when they have a set menu which was great. (reservations needed) . It's about a 15 minute ride but can be longer if there is traffic. Friday night we were coming back from Pigeon Island and the traffic was brutal. We played one round of golf at the Sandals Course. The golf course is nothing special, no water views and very basic. All of the beaches including those in front of private resorts are all open to the public which is great, you just can't use their amenities including beach chairs. You can rent beach chairs at Pigeon Island which we did on a couple of days. We also went Reduit beach, I would skip this beach, you will get constantly hit up to buy things. It would be nice if the house provided beach chairs that you could take with you. The Blue Sky staff were all very friendly and super helpful in organizing things. We had the rental car delivered to the house and then dropped it at the airport on the way home. (We came in at night and didn't want to drive the narrow roads right when we got there. The airport is on the south end of the island and it took an hour and 20 minutes to get to the house so its not a short drive.) A few things to be aware of - the common driveway coming into the house is in tough shape, you can drive it ok but it has some pretty good size potholes. There are a few leaks in the gutter seams so if you are staying in the downstairs bedroom, the water runoff from the upstairs bedroom AC unit ,or if it rained, came dripping down on to the 1st floor metal roof over the bedroom and sounded like a hammer thudding and was pretty annoying. Hopefully they will get that fixed. All in all a great stay. We would definitely book with Blue Sky in the future.

Perfect Location and Peaceful Environment

The Date House was the perfect place to stay. We came for St. Lucia Carnival and it was 8 minutes from the road parade and about 10-20 minutes from event locations (during peak traffic). It's located at the back of the community away from all the noise and business of the main streets and we loved that we had that peace and quiet when we got home. The house was clean and provided that relaxed feeling. Our housekeeper Shantal was also so sweet and friendly. We would definitely return to stay again!
