Villa Albatross Nest with Stunning Panoramic Sea View

Albatross Nest epitomizes Caribbean style living with truly breath taking 180-degree views from the property's open and elevated terraces. Enjoy magical sunset drinks with views of the island of Martinique in one direction and Pigeon Island National Park and Rodney Bay in the other.

Albatross Nest is our dream home - perfect views, distinctive open plan architecture, traditional Caribbean shingled buildings and beautiful tropical garden. Enjoy classic barefoot charm and listen to the sounds of nature and the sea below.

The property is secluded and provides perfect privacy - it is only ever rented to a single party/group. Its layout means that it is equally suited for 2 guests and honeymoon couples as much as it is for larger groups of up to 8 guests. Base pricing is therefore based on 2 guests, with a small daily cost for extra guests.

The villa was designed by architect, Robertson Ward, who designed the original Sandy Lane hotel in Barbados. Three buildings are linked by covered walkways around the large, private, central pool. The design is perfect for a tropical, outdoor lifestyle and the pool is spanned by an attractive bridge which creates a romantic environment.

Albatross Nest is located in the North West corner of the Cap Estate which is generally regarded as the premier residential area of St. Lucia.

The property is a very short drive to Pigeon Island beach, Anse Du Cap beach and Cas en Bas beach. The 18 hole golf course at the Sandals Golf and Country Club, snorkeling, scuba diving, kitesurfing, horse riding on the beach, tennis club and an award winning spa, as well as many of the island's best restaurants are all within a ten minute drive.

Maid service is provided on weekdays as well as gardening and pool services. The property has a security system. The pool is unfenced and deep so the property is not suitable for guests under the age of twelve.

The property is managed by Kris Wagner who will welcome you to the property and advise on any aspects of your vacation. Kris and her team are on call 7 days a week to ensure that you have a wonderful holiday in St. Lucia.

A pre-stocking service is available so that when you arrive at the villa you do not immediately have to go shopping - you can immediately relax, unwind and enjoy the view. Rental cars can be delivered and collected directly from the property.

The moment you walk into the residence, the expensive ocean views are truly breathtaking. The open air layout concept of the villa is really cool the host, Kris, meet us at the villa did a great job walking us around the property and was super helpful during our stay. We vacation a fair amount and stay in a lot of VRBO properties, but I’ve never stayed in one that had a view like this. I highly recommend having one of the recommended chefs come in and make a dinner for your group. It was a highlight of the trip for us. The villa was very clean and full of amenities.

Kris is fantastic and took great care of our every need, even during last minute planning. Her recommendations were spot on. Donald, Eldon, Ivy, and Thomas were also very warm, hospitable, and helpful as well. The villa was delightful for our stay, and the views are to die for.

Our party of 6 really enjoyed the home, stunning views, attentive host who answers you quickly. We appreciated the security of the property and the location on Cap Estate. Easy traveling to nearby Rodney Bay and even Castries. the kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need. We cooked 4 dinners and ate 2 out. the quickest way to see the Pitons is to take a catamaran tour as the home sits far north on the island. Saint Lucia is mountainous, so our street and drive was rather steep.

I cannot say enough about this fabulous VRBO as it was truly that best we have ever had. The home, amenities and view exceeded all of our expectations! We felt like we landed in paradise for the week.As a family of 7, there was plenty of space, privacy as well as comfortable areas to all be together for some family fun. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and modern with good AC available. The kitchen was more than adequate and we cooked and grilled all week. The family room/dining room is open air and ideal for hanging out. The pool was perfect and the hammock was almost never empty (we were all fighting for it)! To sum it all up- we were so happy at the house we did not need to leave much. Thank you for an amazing family holiday week!

Beautiful home and a fantastic view. Ivy, the house keeper, was so good and kind. Loved her. Diane, the host, was great. It was hard to find, especially the first time at night. They gave us directives, but it was difficult following them. I would stay there again.

Amazing house! Amazing location! Amazing views! This house was perfect for my husband and I and our three teenage children! Everyone had their own space and there was plenty of communal space. The sunsets were spectacular! Ivy was lovely and Kris was so helpful. St. Lucia may be the friendliest island we have visited. I would recommend Albatross Nest to everyone. Hopefully we’ll be back one day.

June 2025 Stay

Stayed here on our honeymoon and it was everything the pictures show and more! Truly, this view is breathtaking and we couldn’t get over it. The pool is wonderful and the open seating area in the mornings and evenings is remarkably relaxing. Kris is wonderfully helpful and the staff also are just crazy nice and friendly as they keep the place immaculate! If you’re staying in the north of the island, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Amazing Views

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Villa Albatross Nest. Communication with Kris was great leading up to the trip and during our stay. She helped with everything from arranging a chef, the rental car, groceries, and excursions. Truly top notch property management!The house itself was great as well. The open air concept was a bit of a concern at first, but the cool breeze at the top of the hill helped keep things cool day and night. We would definitely considering staying once again!PS

Great place with an excellent view

I would definitely advise reaching the villa during daylight hours. While the host’s directions were spot on, it is VERY dark and still hard to find. Once you arrive, you won’t be disappointed! The place has amazing views with exceptional outdoor living. Kris and Ivey took good care of us. If you rent Albatross Nest, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect accomodation

The best thing about this property is its location. Overlooking the sea with stunning views of the Pigeon Island and the harbour, it’s spacious, clean and beautifully kept with lots of outside space to enjoy the views. The staff are friendly and very helpful and security is given the highest priority.

Kris Wagner professionally manages the property which belongs to an English couple who have been visiting St Lucia for the past 20 years. We fell in love with the island and after a very long search we finally found our dream home which we purchased in December 2009.
We look forward to being able to spend much more time in our beautiful home in St. Lucia when we retire but in the meantime we are making it available for holiday rentals when we are not there .
