Perched on the northwest tip of Cap Estate — St Lucia’s most prestigious area — Albatross Nest is a rare villa that genuinely takes your breath away. Step onto the elevated terraces and drink in uninterrupted 180° views stretching from the island of Martinique to Pigeon Island National Park and Rodney Bay, with the distant peaks of the iconic Pitons completing the picture. The Villa and Pool
Designed by acclaimed architect Robertson Ward — creator of the original Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados — Albatross Nest is a masterclass in tropical living. Three traditional Caribbean shingled buildings are connected by covered walkways around a large private pool, spanned by an elegant bridge that adds a touch of romance to the whole setting. The open-plan architecture blurs the line between indoors and out, filling every space with natural light, sea breezes and the sounds of the ocean below. The beautifully landscaped tropical garden provides total seclusion and privacy.

Flexible for Two or up to Eight
The villa is exclusively yours — never shared with other guests. Whether you’re a honeymoon couple seeking a private paradise or a group of up to 8 looking for the ultimate Caribbean base, Albatross Nest adapts beautifully. Base pricing is for 2 guests, with a modest additional charge per extra guest.

The moment you walk into the residence, the expensive ocean views are truly breathtaking. The open air layout concept of the villa is really cool the host, Kris, meet us at the villa did a great job walking us around the property and was super helpful during our stay. We vacation a fair amount and stay in a lot of VRBO properties, but I’ve never stayed in one that had a view like this. I highly recommend having one of the recommended chefs come in and make a dinner for your group. It was a highlight of the trip for us. The villa was very clean and full of amenities.

Our party of 6 really enjoyed the home, stunning views, attentive host who answers you quickly. We appreciated the security of the property and the location on Cap Estate. Easy traveling to nearby Rodney Bay and even Castries. the kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need. We cooked 4 dinners and ate 2 out. the quickest way to see the Pitons is to take a catamaran tour as the home sits far north on the island. Saint Lucia is mountainous, so our street and drive was rather steep.

Beautiful home and a fantastic view. Ivy, the house keeper, was so good and kind. Loved her. Diane, the host, was great. It was hard to find, especially the first time at night. They gave us directives, but it was difficult following them. I would stay there again.

Delighted that you enjoyed our home, the lovely housekeeper, Ivy and the host. The house is quite difficult to find and we do recommend that guests have a driver from the airport which can be arranged for you and then car hire can start the next day with delivery of the hire car to the villa. The pre-stacking service means that you can have food and drink requirements at the house for your arrival. We would love to welcome you back.

I cannot say enough about this fabulous VRBO as it was truly that best we have ever had. The home, amenities and view exceeded all of our expectations! We felt like we landed in paradise for the week.As a family of 7, there was plenty of space, privacy as well as comfortable areas to all be together for some family fun. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and modern with good AC available. The kitchen was more than adequate and we cooked and grilled all week. The family room/dining room is open air and ideal for hanging out. The pool was perfect and the hammock was almost never empty (we were all fighting for it)! To sum it all up- we were so happy at the house we did not need to leave much. Thank you for an amazing family holiday week!

Amazing house! Amazing location! Amazing views! This house was perfect for my husband and I and our three teenage children! Everyone had their own space and there was plenty of communal space. The sunsets were spectacular! Ivy was lovely and Kris was so helpful. St. Lucia may be the friendliest island we have visited. I would recommend Albatross Nest to everyone. Hopefully we’ll be back one day.

June 2025 Stay

Stayed here on our honeymoon and it was everything the pictures show and more! Truly, this view is breathtaking and we couldn’t get over it. The pool is wonderful and the open seating area in the mornings and evenings is remarkably relaxing. Kris is wonderfully helpful and the staff also are just crazy nice and friendly as they keep the place immaculate! If you’re staying in the north of the island, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Kris Wagner professionally manages the property which belongs to an English couple who have been visiting St Lucia for the past 20 years. We fell in love with the island and after a very long search we finally found our dream home which we purchased in December 2009.
We look forward to being able to spend much more time in our beautiful home in St. Lucia when we retire but in the meantime we are making it available for holiday rentals when we are not there .

We have visited St. Lucia for many years and love the island. We fell in love with the stunning view, the lovely garden and the architecture of this property. We enjoy the variety of restaurants and beaches easily accessible from the property.

The property has one of the best sea views we have seen on the island. The sunset views are amazing. The property provides a restful, private location but good restaurants and a variety of activities are available within a ten minute drive.
