Cozy and eclectic Woodstock getaway

Recently renovated space with hand crafted touches, the Stardust Suite is a creative nook inspired by both our journey of love here and beautiful surrounds of the stunning Catskill Mountain ranges steeped in the regions rich history of music, art and natural connection

We're thrilled to be able to share our home with you and trust you'll unwind amongst the trees to take some stardust magic with you.

This is our full time residence and the privacy and comfort of our guests is our highest priority, with entry, parking, suite and amenity use completely private. We will however always be on hand if needed and it's our pleasure to ensure everything is just right.

Have fun with the fire pit, hot tub, hammock, outdoor shower, seating areas, fitness room, sheltered cob oven, 5 burner gas grill. Please help yourself to the herb garden and make yourself at home!

Our property boasts breathtaking mountain and farm views and is only 5 minutes drive from the quaint and artsy town of Woodstock. The range of recommendations in our welcome packet includes incredible farm-to-table restaurants, hikes, swimming holes and waterfalls which are all at your quick access. We are a pet friendly home with 3 dogs ourselves, and don't charge extra for pets.

wonderful Woodstock getaway!

We loved stay at this quaint cabin. Mike was so communicative and friendly. It was close to downtown Woodstock but still had an exclusive woodsy and private feel to the location. We will definitely be back in other seasons to enjoy all of the property amenities. Love ya Stardust!

Perfect Weekend Spot

This property is very cool! We had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The decor was really interesting and fun. Bed was very comfortable; shower was great! Mike was a good communicator and was available if we needed anything (we didn't). We are locals who moved away from the area and were visiting for the weekend, but we read through the visitor's guide just for fun. It was really well done and is a good source of info for renters who haven't visited the area before. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect pet friendly escape.

Wonderfully located pet friendly home. Privacy, adorable-clean, comfortable with little shed housing a treadmill with heating/cooling. Perfection. Will return.

Loved our stay in Woodstock

We loved staying at the Stardust! It was conveniently located to all the festivals we planned on, many restaurants and easy access to groceries. The cottage was so cozy and had everything one needs - starting with a s'mores kit!! Unfortunate for us, it rained most of the weekend. I would definitely recommend staying with Mike & Liz! Thank you again!

Wonderful stay

It was a beautiful place, centrally located to town of Woodstock, multiple hikes and restaurants. The property manager was very helpful and knowledgeable about activities and restaurants in the area. Definitely recommend this beautiful artistically decorated property

Awesome dog friendly stay!

We loved our stay - the property itself is beautiful, private, and unique. It’s perfectly located just a short 5 minute drive from Woodstock, as well as near a number of beautiful hikes. We brought our two dogs with us, and Michael and Liz’s place was perfect. They even left out a water bowl and placemat for their food bowls! Woodstock had multiple restaurants that allowed dogs on their outside patio, so we were able to eat out for three delicious meals and bring our dogs, and there was plenty of dog friendly hikes and trails in the area.

Nice hidden getaway & close to Woodstock

Best part of the trip was the house is not dog friendly, but dig welcoming! I arrived to find a bowl of water and a food bowl ready. So nice! Perfect for our needs. Thanks Mike and Liz.

Perfect Spot

Such an awesome cottage in a great location. Close to all the spots we wanted to visit. The decor of the cottage was wonderfully eclectic with so many interesting pieces to admire. The hosts thought of everything possible for the stay. Definitely a 5 star rating.

The perfect spot

Wonderfully Perfect

It is hard to find a place these days that is truly as great as it seems from the listing but I can honestly say that this place was. The host was wonderfully flexible to last minute possible change of plans (which ended up not being necessary) and that made for a really great first impression. We were overall pretty low maintenance for what we needed and this place was very stocked with anything we could have needed. Super cute, super clean, would happily stay here again

Peaceful Retreat in Woodstock

The Stardust Suite is a wonderfully relaxing retreat just outside Woodstock, NY. Although the cottage is attached to the main house, you would never know it, and the cottage feels very private. Mike and Liz were wonderful hosts who thought of everything and made us feel totally comfortable and welcome. We enjoyed the peaceful yard (wish we could've availed ourselves of the pizza oven!) and beautiful vistas to Overlook Mountain, yet Woodstock is only a 5 minute drive away – even closer to one of our favorite area restaurants, Cucina. Visits to Opus 40 (10 minutes) and Frederic Church's Olana (a very easy, leisurely 35-40 minute drive), across the Hudson River from Catskill, were highlights. For anyone wishing to visit this area, Stardust Suite is a wonderful place to stay.

New Year's in the Catskills

The cottage is very well equipped, peaceful, and in a great location for exploring the west side of the Hudson. Mike and Liz left a booklet with several helpful tips.

Quiet, Cozy, Relaxing, Peaceful, & Fully Stocked… No Stoned Left Unturned!

We had a wonderful experience during our stay over Thanksgiving week. We were greeted by a lovely bottle of sparkling wine and fresh strawberries with a sweet little note wishing us a happy 20-yr anniversary (thank you again for such a kind gesture, Mike & Liz… and happy 3-yr anniversary to you both). You can feel a very joyful energy as soon as you walk in to this wonderfully decorated cottage. And there are beautiful live plants everywhere, giving testament to how well cared for this special getaway is. Mike and Liz are gracious, generous, fabulous hosts. They go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and are super responsive to any special requests. They’ve truly left no stone unturned! Although the cottage is connected to the main home (but with no shared walls) - it feels very private. We’ve rented over a dozen cottages/homes in the Woodstock area and this one is extra unique with so many special touches and on a very serene piece of land. 5 stars & high fives all the way!!!! ~Cheri & Aaron (Baltimore, MD)

Delightful place to stay

My son and I stayed at this delightful studio over thanksgiving weekend and loved everything about the place. The owners put a lot of love in hosting and it shows from the very cool decor to the tiny details that made the place feel welcoming. Everything was very clean, the towels were soft and plush, the complementary toiletries were not expected yet included, and there was also a well prepared Welcome guide complete with helpful instructions, recommendations for restaurants, shops and interesting sites to visit. The hosts also included complementary refreshments and yogurt for breakfast (which we appreciated very much!). We had a lot of privacy, the property is expansive, very beautiful and conveniently located. Just a few minutes drive from the town. We were delighted to find this place and loved our stay!

Perfect home, location & vibe!!!

We stayed at the Stardust Suite with our Westie dog and don't really have anything bad to say! The indoor and outdoor space was comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen, although small, was equipped well for both of us. Even though the space is shared with the owners, we felt our privacy was respected. Sitting by the fire-pit or enjoying the outdoor seating area was serene and quiet. The town of Woodstock was only 6min drive away with restaurants & shops. We would recommend this space hands down!!!!!

Relaxing retreat

We LOVED our long weekend in Woodstock at the Stardust Suite! Beautiful property, close to the village and swimming holes! The cottage offered everything we needed.. the hosts provided more than we could dream of! So sorry to leave.. we will be back;)

Great place , very charming and relaxing.

The property is very charming and had all the amenities we needed to have a relaxing weekend. We loved it so much we wanted to book another weekend there in the fall before we left. Mike and Liz are great hosts and were very responsive, but honestly, we didn’t need anything as it was already there. We highly recommend it.
