Thank you for your thoughtful review of Edgewater Inn 354! We’re so glad you enjoyed our friendly, helpful staff, spacious and clean condo, and well-equipped accommodations. It’s wonderful to hear our premier waterfront location on Round Lake made your stay memorable. Relaxing on the private balcony while watching boats, the Beaver Island Ferry, and the iconic Charlevoix drawbridge is one of our guests’ favorite experiences. We appreciate your feedback regarding the lighting and the steep stairs to the primary bedroom. Because each privately owned condo has its own unique layout and décor, we understand that some may better suit different guests. Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear you felt the entire condominium and hotel were amazing and that your room was incredible. And those views really are something special—so it means a lot to hear they were “to die for.” We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and for saying you’ll be back. We’d be delighted to welcome you again for another getaway with the same incredible views and a comfortable, memorable stay.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you had a great experience overall, enjoyed the excellent location, and that the pool was perfect for your kids. We’re sorry, however, that the freezer was not functioning properly during your stay. We understand how important reliable refrigerator and freezer storage is, especially when traveling with young children. We also appreciate you mentioning that this has happened during a previous stay in a different unit, as that is understandably frustrating and something that should not become a repeated concern. Your feedback will be shared with our maintenance and management teams so the appliance can be inspected and addressed. We agree that working cold storage is an important part of a comfortable stay, and it should be confirmed before guests arrive. Thank you again for recognizing the positives while also letting us know where improvement is needed. We truly appreciate you staying with us and are glad you still really enjoyed your visit overall.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your 6/10 review of Edgewater Inn 354. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the great views, as our waterfront location on Round Lake in downtown Charlevoix is one of the property’s greatest highlights. Guests often share how much they love watching the boats, yachts, and Beaver Island ferry, as well as seeing the drawbridge open and close right from their private balconies. The ability to walk from the property to restaurants, boutique shops, coffee houses, marinas, and Lake Michigan beaches is another reason many guests choose Edgewater Inn, and we’re pleased the location delivered that unique Charlevoix experience for you. At the same time, we value your honest feedback that the condo itself is “looking tired.” Each unit at Edgewater Inn is individually owned and decorated, which means décor and furnishings vary. While our team works closely with owners to encourage updates and maintain a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, your comments make it clear that Unit 354 is due for refreshment. Observations like yours are very important to us, as they highlight where improvements need to be prioritized to ensure all guests feel the accommodations reflect both the cost and the quality of our location. Beyond the views and location, Edgewater Inn offers amenities designed to make each stay enjoyable, including our indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and waterfront terrace. Daily housekeeping keeps units clean and inviting, while our front desk staff, available until 10 p.m., is always happy to assist with requests, provide recommendations, or address concerns. Secure on-site parking and reliable internet access further add to the convenience of staying with us. We’re encouraged that even though you rated your stay a 6/10, you recognized the spectacular views as a strength of your visit. Your comments about the unit’s condition will be shared with ownership and management so updates can be considered. Our goal is always to balance the unique charm of individually owned condos with consistent quality, modern comfort, and excellent service. Thank you again for your review of Edgewater Inn 354. We hope you will give us another opportunity to welcome you back in the future, where you can continue to enjoy the incredible views and downtown convenience, but also experience refreshed and updated accommodations that make your stay truly exceptional.
