Overall unit is very nice. We have stayed several times since 2010. Unit has everything needed provided in the kitchen and more. Bedding is nice and washer and dryer is a plus. General routine maintenance is required for the bathrooms, drains clogged. Cleaning staff should be more attentive throughout, especially in the kitchen with the refrigerator. I contacted the owners by text and they acted appropriately contacting Big Fish cleaning and maintenance staff. Both offered to rectify issues immediately. Very satisfied with response.

Beautiful place. I did not care for sending personal docs via email (drivers license, credit card, etc) but you can cover up ID# and cc# when sending and all worked out fine. Also, make sure to bring your own beach towels...which they do tell you to do...you cannot use the hotels beach towels because you are not renting from the hotel directly. Love the place though and the management company was great to answer any questions I had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious condo! It comfortably accommodated our group with three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and two additional pull-out couches in the generous living area, easily sleeping up to 9 guests. The highlight was definitely the large, oceanfront balcony – perfect for relaxing with family. One small note for future guests: as a privately owned unit within the resort, beach towels are not provided and are only available to hotel guests through a vending machine. We highly recommend packing your own. Also pack paper towels and laundry detergent. The condo's location is superb, with easy access to grocery stores and fast-food options. A perfect family getaway!

Not terrible but could use improvements

This unit was a nice size for the four of us, providing each of my adult childrent their own private bedroom and bathroom. The location and the property amenities was also a plus.However, there were aspects of the unit that could use improvement. The main bedroom closet was full of clutter and had an odor, which caused us to not use it. The iron leaked water out the cord area, so I had to purchase one at Walmart for us to use out of safety. There was a dirty footbath in the vanity in the main bathroom. I didn't need to nor want to see something like this on my vacation.There are remotes that control the ceiling fans/lights and the holder to the one switch was falling off the wall. The toilet in one of the bathrooms ran constantly - I didn't want to have to deal with something like that on my vacation. There were also holes in the wall where pictures most likely had been hanging.The kitchen was 'ok' - however not even a roll of paper towels to start us with and there were also no tissues in any of the bathrooms.For the 5,000 I paid for this unit for a week - there should have been more attention to detail and cleanliness.

We absolutely loves our stay and would definitely book it again! We booked last minute for 2 nights when our travel plans changed, so the instant booking was great! It was no trouble at all with check in. The condo was clean, cozy and very well stocked. It has everything we'd need for making a burger dinner on our first night and then we ate out the rest of the time. The balcony is large and has such a great view of the ocean. It's a great condo at a great price and we will book again if we're back at Myrtle Beach!

Annual Family Myrtle Trip

We visit Myrtle every year so it is difficult to disappoint - this trip was as expected. Great unit at Island Vista. Very clean & spacious with 3 BR & 3 baths which is hard to come by. Huge living room - huge balcony with extremely comfortable chairs to sit on. All amenities fully stocked. The bedroom lights/fan that are operated by remotes with same frequencies on them created some issues of us turning each others on & off. When booking, the identity/verification process for security is a bit much through Big Fish but in this day and age of fraudulent violators, it is understandable - just be prepared for that.

Overall, we had a great stay. My only complaints were the king sheets were old, pilled and stained. They should be replaced. Also, communication wasn’t great at checkin, I could not get anyone to answer the phone. I sent the requested information via the text message and I had to do the self pictures as well. The email said one or the other, not both so if you stay here, just do both.

Great Resort…. Terrible Rental Company

This resort is amazing! The pools are super clean and very tropical! Super easy beach access too. The restaurant has a wonderful breakfast with a gorgeous view. The unit was nice and roomy and has a great view. The master bed was very uncomfortable but my kids said the other beds were comfy. The washer worked great but the dryer needs to be replaced. It took 3 or 4 full 60 minute cycles to get clothes dry. That was super annoying! But the rental company was awful! After checking out there was a 200 charge on my account. After several unreturned phone calls I get a text telling me it was because of a broken lamp. No one would even answer the phone to discuss this! Very unprofessional! Needless to say, I will NEVER book through Big Fish Rentals again.

Golf Trip

Great condo in a great location. Exceptional quality and view, comfortable beds, good kitchen-dining-living room set up. Management company was friendly, very responsive and pleasant to work with - reviews to the contrary are likely more reflective of the author than the target! Numerous very good restaurants very close and it's nice being a little north of the tourist spot that is central Myrtle Beach. Jump on this if it's available!

We have a nice stay.

The location was great. Perfect for our family. A few suggestions: Upgrade mattresses sheets pillows and bedding Master shower did not drain adequately Towels were worn. Need coffee filters for coffee pot. We did not have those for our first morning. We did not have access to towels at the pool The secondary bedrooms need black out curtains over plantation shutters. Hallway lights are very bright.

Relaxing experience

This was a great experience! The condo was perfectly situated with access directly to your car on the same floor of the parking garage. The condo was clean and the beds were super comfortable. It wasn’t busy like most resort which was a plus. Most guests were older with not many kids running around which was perfect for our quiet family. Nightly music and on site restaurant, if needed. Hope to make this our go to place to stay!

Very good!

Had a nice time and everything was very convenient. Perfect balance of pool and beach amenities. There are lots of rules so the welcome emails could be a little mind boggling but overall we had a nice stay and would stay again.

Enjoyed the property but not the management company

First off, they made me take a picture of myself holding my credit card and ID, a photo of my credit card and photo of ID. I use VRBO because I only give my CC to one party and there is a sense of security. Initially, we discussed it wasn't necessary but the day of travel to, they had me do this anyway. The property is nice and the resort was great. The room was kinda dirty. Surfaces with dirt and debris, fridge was dirty, bathrooms had dirt in all the corners and it was obvious the floors weren't cleaned. Pillow cases had stains and there was sand in the beds prior to us laying down. The kitchen sink had a very slow drain. It became very apparent that the management company doesn't verify cleanliness and there is a good chance they don't inspect the units. I would stay at the hotel again (loved it) but never use Big Fish Rentals again for any rental whatsoever. Will avoid them at all cost.

Amazing

Everything was perfect. Condo was exactly as advertised on the listing. We did not have to contact anyone as there were no issues. The condo had everything we needed. My daughter turned one, and we celebrated here for her birthday. Thank you for making the experience amazing with beautiful views and a place that felt like home while we were there! Will be booking again!

Pleasant Time spent with family

Location and amenities were nice. We did experience difficulty opening and closing the sliding door off the living room. Everyone enjoyed having their own rooms and other spacious areas. I did not enjoy providing a picture of me holding my license and card with a signature especially when the owner does not provide customers a certificate of data destruction upon check out. This is a cybersecurity issue and should be communicated before reserving and paying upfront.

Great condo

We enjoyed this condo, property, and beach. The condo was perfect for our family including kids ranging from 4-18. The condo was clean and exactly as described. The luggage cart included with the room was very helpful. The elevators were fast as compared to other condos we’ve stayed in. The staff at the property were very friendly and helpful. The tiki bar was a great perk as well. The pools were clean and warm, which was nice for this time of year. Would definitely go back.

Excellent Stay

The property was right on the beach with plenty of accommodations. It was clean and had everything we needed. The place was quiet at night, making it easy to sleep. It was also near most restaurants and other activities. The whole family enjoyed it!

Excellent location and perfect family stay

This is a excellent summer getaway rental. The check in process was smooth and I received updates everyday up to the moment I checked in and checked out. My family loved how spacious the unit was and the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, kitchen utensils, griddle, and TVs in every room. The local Food lion was less than 5 minutes away so we were able to stock up on supplies and cook meals at night and watch movies. I will differently recommend this property to any big family and I would stay here again.
