This one-bedroom property is part of a duplex, with the other portion of the home available to rent as well. You'll be just across West Beach Boulevard from the white sand and the Gulf of Mexico, with a public access point waiting right down the road.


The interior living space is painted in a whimsical shade of green, offering an open layout, central air conditioning, and free WiFi to welcome you back from the beach each afternoon. There's a full kitchen with a breakfast bar for four, a living room with a flatscreen TV, and a lovely porch where you can pass the evening hours with a cold drink in hand. At night, you'll find that the bedroom has a flatscreen TV as well.

Great location!

This place was nice and clean, and in a great location! There is a beach access point just across the street, and it's in a quieter section of beach because there are houses all around, not huge hotels - but not far from restaurants. The view from the back deck was also nice, greenspace and houses. The house was a perfect size for the 2 of us. I would definitely stay here again!

Plum tickled

This was a great little getaway. The property is two houses down from beach access, very convenient. On the back side of the main house shielded us from a lot of road noise but that meant we couldn't see the beach from our balcony. But again, it was just a short walk to get there. Cute place, loved our time there.

Quite relaxing in February.

Enjoyed the quiet back porch overlooking some open space (not up against a big condo tower). Enjoyed walking to nearby beach access. Enjoyed bycycle rides (lagoon ave, mostly). Enjoyed quiet walks on beach. Note: police enforcing the no dogs at beach by end of febuary (but were nice about it).

Amazing place for small family

We e stayed here every summer the last 10 years! Itā€™s a perfect house for a couple with 1 child! Also, itā€™s great we get to bring our dog with us as well! Thereā€™s not a lot of house that let you bring your dogs! Weā€™ve never had a problem with anything! It has new paint, new fridge and everything you would need to make your stay as homey as possible! Definitely recommend this house! You wonā€™t be disappointed!

Was clean and the location to beach was great. Had issues with A/C and we thought a bigger TV in living room would be a good addition. To hard to see across living room. Also shower curtain liner definately needed to be changed.

Average stay. The information on website is misleading. Apt. is facing away from the beach in the back of the building so no view. Needs updated and some new paint, also new matress, bigger TV, a plug was broke off in socket. No extra garbage bags. And extra blankets linens need replaced. Overall not bad just not as nice as it could be.

Great spot for a Gulf Shores visit with kids and pets

We booked this spot for a long weekend so that we could meet up with family having a longer stay nearby. We visit the area often and don't normally bring our dog since the beaches aren't dog-friendly, but since our family wanted to see her she joined for this trip. The little apartment on the back of the larger house was just the right size for my spouse, our child and me. The entrance being on the back side of the house gives it a quieter feel than being on the main road, and the street along Little Lagoon was a good spot for dog walking. The quieter street there has generous side lanes for bikes and pedestrians and even had some pet litter stations. Public beach access is an easy walk directly across the street and there were some restaurants and stores within walking distance. The unit and furnishings were cheerfully decorated and functional. One of the deck chairs was broken and the property manager called us to let us know before we had a chance to call her. The previous tenants had reported it after their checkout but not before the staff had already done the housekeeping changeover for our stay. While the spot wasn't luxurious, it was very functional and quiet for a spot right on the beach, and we appreciated the host for offering pet-friendly accomodations. While traveling with a dog and a child who loves to play on the beach, the functional and sturdy accomodations were just what we needed.

Short walk

Very short walk to the beach was really nice. Place couldā€™ve been cleaned a little better IMO. Some of the patio furniture needs to be repaired or replaced

Needs Some TLC- Good Cleaning

Overall the unit wasn't too bad. The location to the public access pier is very close and was a convenient walk to the beach. The bed and accompanying frame needs to be replaced. The mattress is worn out as you sink into it when sitting on it. The frame itself is so loud that a deep breath will wake you, an exaggeration but it's squeaky and loud. All of the utensils had to be hand washed before use as they along with other food utensils had dried, caked on food. The utensil holder in the drawer had to be cleaned as well due to old food particles inside. While we truly appreciate the unit being dog friendly the pet fee and cleaning fee should be refunded. The dog hair hair and dust are caked on the baseboards throughout the unit. I know its impossible to get all of the hair between bookings but what I'm referring to has been there quite some time. The drainage pipe for the air conditioner drips directly onto the back porch keeping a section of the porch in a constant state wetness. We placed a pitcher underneath to try and keep if from splashing which then had to be emptied several times a day. What doesn't stay on the porch drips between the slats to the carport underneath. Seems like it could be routed away from dripping on the porch. We experienced some rain while there so we utilized the TVs more than usual. The 32 inch tv in the den is too small for the space. Had to get up and walk over to read the guide for the channels. Not a huge detraction but still frustrating. The 32 inch tv in the bedroom seems like it was large enough for the space. Undecided if I would book again...maybe in a last minute situation.
