The Highlights

Welcome to Coastal Blessings! Located in desirable Surfside Shores, this 5-bedroom, 4 bath home sits directly on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. One feature of this home and the space you'll likely enjoy the most is the expansive, wraparound deck which offers both sun and shade. You'll want to spend time here during the day enjoying all that a beachfront home has to offer but don't forget to spend some time stargazing in the evening. And you'll have a front row seat if you are lucky enough to be here when the Blue Angels are practicing. The owners have invested in comfortable and durable polywood furniture.

The Space

Step inside and your find an open floor plan with a colorful and comfortable living space. This will be where the group gathers to recap the adventures of the day and plan for tomorrow. Or maybe spend time watching a movie, playing games or finally reading that book. This space offers incredible views of the gulf so even when you are inside, you'll still be able to enjoy the gorgeous white sand beach.

The updated kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances. In addition to the large dining table, there is counter seating for 4. This home has everything you'll need to prepare simple meals should you choose to dine in.

The lower level contains two bedrooms. One, has a King bed with an en suite (shared with hall). The second features a King bed with a private bath. Head upstairs where there are three additional bedrooms. A King bedroom with a private bath, a second King bedroom and bunk room with 2 full/full bunks that share a Jack and Jill bath.

* Up to 2 dogs considered with $100 nonrefundable pet fee per dog.
* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The home is great. Right on the beach is the best. Every room had a great view and its own bathroom. We would definitely choose this place again. The kitchen could use a bit more table wear but other than that it was perfect.

The house way right on the beach. Clean and the bedrooms all have a wonderful view! The crows nest is a nice extra. The beds are all very pretty and comfortable. Several bathrooms. Kitchen is just right and the dining table is huge! Would highly recommend this house!

One of the greatest vacations

The property was in great shape, so close to the beach. The management company was very quick to respond and even came by and introduced themselves and said to call if we needed anything. The house had so many chairs, beach toys etc so we didnt really use ours.

Great property

We enjoyed our time at coastal blessings. The beds were comfortable, but the home needs some updates and amenities. It also isn’t as well-stocked as some of the other homes we have stayed at in the area. More towels, beach chairs, games, toilet paper, trash bags, coffee paper towels, etc. goes a long way with guests. But overall we loved the place and would return again.

Great family vacation spot

The property was absolutely wonderful. Great location. The only thing that I would change would be to make the area under the house more usable for corn hole at night or something like that.

Amazing sunsets

Property was adequately stocked and really enjoyed the large deck every afternoon watching the beautiful sunsets…plenty of room for all …and we appreciate owners allowing our sweet fur baby to join us… thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely property.

Family Vacation

We had a great stay. Everything worked as it should. Outdoor decks and furniture were great! Being able to walk out the back door and be on the beach was great! Weather couldn’t have been better. Saw dolphins daily. Nice to be away from the traffic at gulf shores.

Ready to Go Back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 15 of us rented Coastal Blessings for 4 nights, including 7 kids. We had a blast! The location is the big seller here - steps away from the beach. No one is fighting for a spot on this beach. Several of us enjoyed snorkeling daily, and we saw dolphins, sting rays, turtles, and so many types of fish. Each morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the decks as we watched dolphins play. We really appreciated the super nice deck chairs - not the cheap ones you sometimes find at beach houses. The 5 bedrooms allowed us to spread out, and the teen grandkids especially liked the room with the bunkbeds. We were a little crowded in the kitchen trying to prepare meals, but we made it work. Although we had a few issues (with both the coffee machine and the ice maker), communication was quick and offers were made to remedy the problems. The dishwasher doesn't work great and probably needs to be replaced. The trip to Gulf Shores is about 20-25 minutes depending on traffic, but that didn't bother us at all. In fact, being out of Gulf Shores was a selling point to our family. Overall, it was a great place to stay for our family, and we look forward to returning next year.

The living/dining area was a bit smaller than it looked like o r he pics, but it was actually never an issue because the deck outside more than made up for it! The deck is what sold me on this particular house and it lived up to its expectations! And the second story deck was also great!

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year staying at Coastal Blessings. It is a great house with plenty of room for our crew of 14. Only a couple of minor areas that need improvement. It was very junky under the house with broken chairs,beachtoys,trash, etc. that had been left by previous guests. The property manager came by to check on us. We informed her and she said she would take care of it. She was very friendly. The only other thing is none of the outside deck lights worked. Some had no bulbs at all. Overall, we love this house and hope to come back and enjoy another vacation here!

Needs maintenance

We love the layout of the unit, proximity to the beach, and the dog friendly beach. The unit itself needs maintenance. The dishwasher did not clean well and pinched your fingers every time you opened the door. The sliding door was very difficult to lock. The Master bath fan was Very noisy. The bedroom fan squeaked. The oven light was out. The front right burner ran hot and the back burner was not hot. The Tub drained slow on main bed bath. No outlets in the dining room were functional. The lazy Susan is badly broken. Floors desperately needed mopped ,couch and pillows needed cleaned. Water pressure was good plenty of hot water

House was beautiful, beach was stunning. Each morning we seen lots of dolphins swimming !!!

House was beautiful, beach was stunning and each morning we seen lots of dolphins swimming. Ghost crab hunting was really successful without all the crowds from the condos from in town. I'd definitely recommend staying here rather closer to town if you want less crowded and more intimate time with your family and friends. House had everything we needed. Guests left some toys, chairs games etc from prior visits so check the house before you buy anything like that. The owner obviously says it doesn't come with it but some was left. The shower pressure was good. Kitchen was well equipped. The refrigerator had a little bit of trouble keeping up so dont over load it and follow the check in directions exactly and you will be fine. Bring bug spray as bugs at night are out but definitely worth hanging out on the decks. Yes i said decks each room has access to each and plenty of space so everyone to find their own quiet spot to read or relax and enjoy the veiw! Everything was absolutely perfect. I'd definitely recommend and my family and best friends family will be back next year for sure!

Every bedroom has ocean view!

We were so thrilled that all 5 bedrooms in this beach house had, not only an ocean view, but a door access to a deck! In 20+ years of renting we’d never been blessed to have a house with a layout like that. Dining table with generous proportions, well-stocked kitchen, delightful 3rd story lookout room, high-quality sturdy deck furniture, granite countertops, easy-close kitchen drawers, new sitting room furniture. Some cons were that there was some dog hair/dust on baseboards/chair rails, a few things needing replaced or in disrepair and we unfortunately found about 6 huge palmetto bugs. The property manager was very responsive and helpful; sent out pest control earlier than their next scheduled treatment. We also had an a/c problem and again, the property manager promptly arranged for repair. Also, there are several tiers of homes behind the beach houses in this area so if you’re like us and prefer more private beach space, set up your beach chairs early to establish your space; otherwise, you’ll have large groups of people from behind setting up camp for the day directly in front of your house.

There is plenty of room for all of us. This year I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. There was a lot of sand. I know we are at the beach, but the from the first night, we were wiping off our feet to get in the bed. There was even sand in the master closet. I found clothes from previous renters in obvious places, as well as fallen down beside the dryer. The crow's nest is a great feature. It is fun to go up and look out, but there was nothing up there to sit on so you could enjoy it for more than a minute. It got a little chilly while we were staying there but there were no extra blankets. One last thing is that the master bed and mattress creaked as you got in and out, enough so you were waking your partner. The stove was beginning to show its age in that, the right front burner cooked too hot and the back right burner cooked too low. We adjusted and managed. We love the location close to the ferry, the pet friendly beach, and outside deck. We will rent here again.

Excellant Family Stay

It might get booked up before we can re book! :) Our family of 9; 6 adults and 2 teens, an 11 yr old boy & a little doggy, arrived in early July and were immediately in love with this beach house. Some would mention cosmetic issues; but none bothered us enough to mention them!The location & amenities are so perfect; we overlooked all of them. This home was the first we've stayed at in years that was fully stocked with items we needed. I have been taking pans, spatulas, pitchers, etc. Not here. There was multiples of everything; including 3 coffee makers plus a single Kureg! It felt like home.The beach WAS literally steps away. Usually we have SO many wood steps then a nice hike to the beach we are on. Nope, it is right there.Perfection.We had a plumbing issue on Sunday. Before I could call, the office had texted me to see if all was good. I told her about the issue and the handy man was there quick. When that didn't help, a plumber came. All on Sunday and all QUICK, no runaround, no nonsense.Issue reared it's head again on Tuesday and the plumber was right there quick again. Issue fixed!The beds and linens are wonderful; not just your normal white sheets. Nice high count sheets. ♥Warning; the master upstairs is HIGH! If you are short, bring a stool! ;)The balcony upstairs was my favorite place. 2 high stools and a table; nice breeze. Wonderful.My family loved everything about the house, the beach and the surrounding area. We surely hope to be back again.

Host was very welcoming. There were some issues with cleanliness upon arrival, including cake crumbs around kitchen table and in chairs. There was also food left outside on patio table. Our son found rotted orange and grapes under the couch. Mildew noticed on bathroom ceilings and shower liners, but I understand that can come with the territory. We didn’t mind cleaning a bit when we arrived, but would’ve expected more attention with the price we paid. We did however enjoy our overall stay. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful and very spacious it was a close walk to the beach and the sand and water were so pretty. We had everything we needed when we got there. The house is well equipped for a stay.
