Luxury home pool & spectacular views. Hot Tub

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the HVAC issue affected part of your stay, but we would like to clarify a few points for future guests reading this review. We were completely unaware that there was an issue with the A/C prior to your arrival. As soon as you contacted us, we immediately sent our HVAC technician to the property. He added refrigerant to the system in hopes of keeping that side of the home comfortable for the remainder of your stay. Unfortunately, when that did not resolve the problem, we were advised that replacement was the only reliable option. Rather than delay the repair, we authorized the replacement of the entire unit at a cost of more than $10,000 and arranged to have it installed as quickly as possible. Our intention was to correct the problem immediately rather than leave your family without adequate A/C. We also want to clarify that the loss of electricity during your stay was caused by a widespread utility outage in the area and was completely unrelated to the HVAC replacement. We do apologize that the installation crew arrived before you were aware of the scheduled replacement. Communication regarding their arrival could have been better, and we understand how that may have been frustrating. We take the condition and comfort of our property seriously and responded to an unexpected mechanical failure as quickly as possible. We have passed your notes along to our housekeeping team so they can give extra attention to areas like blinds, corners, and bathroom walls during deep cleans. Guest feedback helps us continue improving the home for future visitors. The property is also on a routine professional pest control program and is serviced regularly. Because the home is located on the water in a coastal environment, occasional insects can sometimes appear despite preventative treatments. However, we have asked our pest control provider to perform an additional inspection to ensure everything is in great shape.
