This private ocean view condo is on the third floor ...about 20 steps along the pathway leads to the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!

Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

Hale Hui Kai 310 offers a spectacular setting- the open concept floor plan is perfect- view the ocean while relaxing or preparing a meal in the well designed modern kitchen. The colors & furnishings offer unforgettable ambience. The two bedrooms have comfortable sleeping suites and the spa like bathrooms complete the vacation package. Air conditioning is in the bedroom suites only.


At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun. On each floor of the property, is a pay-to-use laundry room each with two washers and two dryers.
Bello Realty, Inc. has been managing vacation rentals on Maui since the 1980's and is the premier on site management office at Hale Hui Kai. Our staff is available to assist you during your visit with any questions you may have as well as local recommendations and booking a return visit!

My only criticism would be it needs some carpet cleaning or replacement and upholstery cleaning. Will definitely be back and hope those items improve!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this condo! The view was amazing!!! The furniture and beds were comfortable and everything was clean and well stocked. If you don’t mind the heat, this is the condo for you. It gets SO hot in the afternoon as the air conditioner is only in the bedrooms and doesn’t work unless the bedroom doors are closed. The afternoon sun shines right into the main living area everyday and heats it up. We got use to it after a few days. Also, the master bathroom is not private at all. And there is a door in the master that opens to the front door of the condo behind this unit so you can hear everything in the hallway. It worked ok for us, but not for some. Overall, 5 stars! The view and location can’t be beat!

The day we arrived the air conditioner wasn’t working in the second bedroom, but they fixed it the next day. Because there isn’t any air conditioner in the living room it got really hot even with the sliders and front door were open. We had to get a fan from the manager to try and blow the hot air out, we weren’t getting any breeze. We stayed in 311 two years ago and didn’t have this problem. I am sure we will be back maybe not this unit; Hale Hui Kai has the best location.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the view, location, and remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are amazing there are some things that could really put this rental over the top. The 20+ year old heavily stained carpet in the unit needs to be replaced and there should be some sort of security on premise to enforce quit hours. Construction was also going on in another unit which was pretty loud. For this specific unit you can hear people going up and down the stairs and next to you in the evening. The view from the balcony is amazing though so you do pay for that premiums location. Overall the entire building as well is a bit outdated and musty and could use a a facelift.

Trip to Paradise

Magical stay at Keawapaku Beach

We just returned from a week long stay at this property and had an amazing time. I was initially hesitant to book it because it had no reviews at the time, but I am so glad I did as it exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at this beach at a neighboring property before, but remembered seeing the Hale Hui Kai and wanted to try it out. First off, the condo seemed newly renovated, was immaculately clean, had a great layout and the most beautiful ocean view. The kitchen is super functional and fully stocked with everything you need. We have a 9 year old daughter so loved having the 2nd bedroom and 2 baths. We enjoyed hanging out on the lanai and at night could see all of the stars clearly. The property is very well-kept and easy to just walk right out to the beach with no shoes or keys since the condo has a keypad for entry. Keawapaku Beach is our favorite beach on the island. It's not overly touristy with no big resorts and has the softest sand you've ever felt. The snorkeling is pretty good off to the right, although it tends to get windy in the afternoons so morning is best. Waves are range from flat in the mornings to decent bodyboarding as the day goes on. We spent every evening watching magical Maui sunsets from the grassy area on the lounge chairs listening to Hawaiian tunes and drinking wine while our daughter ran around chasing lizards. We literally cried the day we left. Will definitely come back.

We enjoy hearing the waves while we sleep and long walks down the near vacant, beast beach in Maui. We snorkel and visit with the turtles just steps from the property before eating a glorious sunset each evening. The units are mostly updated and very comfortable. The staff take pride in their work and are very courteous. You can walk 50 yards to the 5 Palms for a burger or cocktail what's not to like?

(I hope there are plans for a banister on the steps leading from the property to the ocean. I have balance issues, and a banister would not just benefit me, but many of the people that use these somewhat uneven steps.)We'll be back!
