Beautiful Chalet in Gatlinburg with a Mountain View 3 bedroom 2 bath!

The Great Smoky Mountain National park is just behind you with a stay in this secluded and luxurious chalet! This newly-built cabin retreat offers a spacious, open floor plan with high ceilings and gorgeous natural lighting. The fully-stocked gourmet chef's kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances will help you entertain the group and create lasting memories together.

With breathtaking views, the living room hosts an easy-to-use gas fireplace to keep you cozy in front of the 65-inch Smart TV for movie nights in. Two of the three bedrooms also have their own Smart TV.

It wouldn't be a true mountain getaway without a beautiful backyard area complete with a charcoal grill, perfect for preparing a nice smoky meal, and stone fire pit, ideal for after dinner star-gazing and storytelling. When it gets cold, there's nothing better than relaxing with a glass of wine or favorite cocktail from the steamy hot tub (views of Mt. LeConte included for free)!

One of the best things about this Chalet is the location! Just 1.5 miles from Downtown Gatlinburg and mere steps away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, it is conveniently located with all major attractions, shops, and trails close by.

No matter the season, there is something magical about a mountain cabin retreat! While there are many wonderful locations in the world to visit, nothing compares to our little corner of paradise, and we are so excited to share it with you!

Great location, easy to get to main strip and every where else! Nice Cozy cabin with hot tub. Be cautious of bears we had one get in our truck . Make sure to lock vehicles. Host was easy to talk to and communicate with. We would definitely recommend and be back .

Perfect location for easy access to National Park and Gatlinburg yet tucked away in nice quiet area. Cabin was especially well equipped - had everything we needed from salt and pepper to extra towels. Communication with host was great. Hot tub was nice after long hikes but could use a new cover. Definitely recommend!

We’re so glad the location worked out perfectly for both the National Park and Gatlinburg, and that you found the chalet well-stocked for everything you needed. Comments about our communication mean a lot! Regarding the hot tub cover - you’re right that it shows some wear! We actually have local black bears who enjoy using it as a scratching post, so it has some patched spots (there’s even a “Black Bear Repair” note on it with a smiley face, though it’s faded and due for a touch-up!). It’s fully clean and functional, and since a brand new cover would likely meet the same fate, we’ve chosen to keep the current one in good working repair rather than replace it. We appreciate your understanding! Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to host you again soon!

The chalet was everything we were looking for. It was easy to book, great communication and had a well stocked kitchen to cook in. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. You can tell the chalet is taken care of and the host makes you feel welcome. Beautiful and hope to return again!!

Great property! Super location close to town and the national park. We had a wonderful stay at this chalet. We really enjoy the Bear and her two cubs the first morning. Great way to start our vacation. Hot tub was a nice bonus after long days of hiking. Overall an excellent experience for the family!

Smokies Hide-a-way

We had a great vacation at the Chalet. It was tucked away up the mountain and had a secluded feel to escape the hustle of town, yet be super close.Accommodations were clean, spacious for our family of four, and everyone enjoyed the layout. The deck and hot-tub were great.Would definitely come back again.

Welcome to the Hills Of Home Chalet! My family and I have always loved hiking and vacationing in the majestic Smoky Mountains. This cabin was a dream come true to build, and we would like to share its beauty and inspiration with all of our guests. We are a creative family in music and the performing arts, and if you are too, perhaps you will be inspired to create your next great work here. However you spend your time, we hope you will enjoy your stay and leave feeling refreshed and inspired!

After an extensive 2.5 year search for a property in the Smokies with no luck, we decided to build our own cabin! The location of the lot could not have been more perfect for us as it is so close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Downtown Gatlinburg, the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, and all Chalet Village pools and recreation areas. Because it is located so near the wild forest, seeing bear, bobcat, wild turkey, and many different species of wildlife is commonplace. This just adds to the magic and charm!

Cove Mountain Trail is just above the property line, and you could step outside and hike without having to drive anywhere. Come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub on the spacious deck where you will have seasonal views of the glorious mountains.
Please use caution at all times as black bear also live here. NEVER leave food in your car and lock all doors. NEVER leave the cabin doors open as the bear will make themselves at home and walk inside. They also know how to open door knobs. It's best to keep the cabin doors locked when you are inside. It is very important for guests to understand that feeding bear intentionally or otherwise is ILLEGAL and will result in a citation. Feeding bear is a direct path to them eventually having to be euthanized!!! Don't do it!!!
