This was our 4th stay for our annual family vacation. Everyone in our group absolutely loves this home. Great location as it's convenient to the DE beaches as well as venturing into OC. Plenty of space for everyone from the children to the adults. Also love the gathering spaces for the whole group to hang out or enjoy meals. Property is well stocked with the essentials. The pool is always a favorite. The big fenced yard is great for evening hangouts and non-pool play.

This was our second time renting this house and we had a few hiccups pool heater was broken, we had some problems with silverfish and the driveway was repaved in Wednesday into Thursday. No one let us know this was happening. We were stuck as we were not allowed to drive on it. Luckily it rained all day Thursday so we had no plans to go out that day.

Great House - Great Location

We had a great vacation. The property was beautiful and centrally located. Large enough to hold a family reunion with space for some quiet time. The highlight was the pool. We loved it. When we were not shopping or eating we were in the pool day and night. Thank you

Another great stay for Family Vaca 2024

This was our 3rd stay for our annual family vacation. Such a wonderful property. Great location as it's convenient to the DE beaches as well as going into OC. Property is large enough for everyone to have space and also have gathering space for the whole group. The pool is always a great hit. Property is well stocked with the essentials. The big fenced yard is great for little ones to run around and play when pool time is over.

Really Enjoyed Our Stay

The property is in a very good location to the Beach, Stores,Restaurants and things to do. The house is very nicely laid out, with more than enough room for the 8 of us. Most rooms are on the main floor, with a couple of bedrooms upstairs. The pool is absolutely wonderful...very nice Weber Gas Grill on property in the pool area...a very nice pool table in its own room...a main refrigerator in the kitchen and a second one in a large walk in pantry room with shelves to store things. A very nice sun room is there, which exits outside to the pool. There is plenty of patio furntiure by the pool. There is an outdoor bathroom in the pool bath house which is convenient. There is plenty of parking in the driveway for 3-4 cars at least. Overall, we recommend this very nice home and would return if the future allows it.

Spacious Home with a few hiccups

Our family had an overall great week at this property with the pool, by far, being the biggest hit! The home is nice and big with areas to gather, while still giving spots to spread out. We enjoyed watching the deer behind the house and the pool was amazing. We loved the sound system in the home and comfy beds. There were a few minor issues. There is a new office building being constructed in front of the home. A bit awkward for entering and exiting but it was a minor inconvenience and there was little construction noise. We did have HVAC installers in the home on Monday replacing a unit. They were very respectful, but it was annoying to have 4 workers in and out the entire day. Thankfully the system was fixed and all was well. Another issue we noticed after 2 heavy storms rolled thru was a pretty substantial roof leak in the porch area which impacted the floor, carpet and walls. Finally, we did have to buy a few items which we assumed would be provided amenities, but weren’t. Make sure you bring a blow dryer, as one is not provided. All in all we made great memories and enjoyed our stay.

July 4th with Family

Large home for 8 adults and 2 children to spread out and be comfortable. Pool was wonderful. Unfortunately there is construction of a 2 story dental office being built in the front yard, so it was hard to relax poolside for several days due to the sound of nail guns,hammering and electric saws. The AC unit which supplies 3 of the bedrooms has been broken for 3 weeks according to the owner. Loud room AC window units ( made to fit the windows with blue painters tape) were installed. Home needs some updating and maintenance. Wood under the door entrance completely rotting away, fenced in back yard with boards missing, several large stains on upstairs carpeting, need to lift tank lid and readjust flap on upstairs toilet after each flush, peeling wall paper. With all that being said I would rent again if the property was given some TLC.

Decline from last year

Our 2023 vacation was excellent which is the reason we booked the house for the same week this year, 2024. In late winter my sisters who live in the area noticed the whole front yard being torn up and no access to the front door. I was the one to contact the owner who assured me that it would not inconvenience us at all. Arriving at the house there was an A/C company truck parked in the drive. The tech said there was no A/C in the backside of the house (two bathrooms and three bedrooms). The first night was comfortable but got warmer by Sun morning. On Monday morning we were woken up by the sound of a cement mixer and continuous banging. The owner said he would contact the company and ask them to start a little later. On Mon.the tech said he couldn’t fix A/C but that he would return the next morning with 3 window units. Heard nothing until the owner called that afternoon to say two units would be delivered. I asked about the 3rd unit and he said he didn’t know; it was out of his control.He said he’d had been having issues for three weeks trying to get the A/C fixed. We ended up buying a small fan for the 3rd bedroom. Aside from the house having huge cobwebs under the kitchen table & chairs, and in the closet, my kids had filthy feet just walking around on the carpet and floors. The 1st two issues I mentioned where the icing on the cake. The fact that the owner never shared the extension of the construction or lack of A/C PRIOR to our arrival were our real issues.

Great Location & House

Great place and location. Construction on the front part of the property was unexpected but not a huge issue. Communication with the host was great and he was quick to respond. House was clean and spacious. Will definitely look to book again!!

Another amazing stay!

This was our second year staying at this property and it was another amazing stay! The house and grounds are beautiful. It's a very convenient location. The house is well stocked. There is so much room for everyone (group of 8) to spread out or gather for meals and fun times. The pool is always a big hit. The fenced yard is great for little ones who like to run about. The owners are wonderful - great communication, checked in to make sure everything was going well. Thank you for a great stay and sharing your place with us.

Beautiful Place for a vacation

This house was everything and more! Beautiful, clean, close to everything , beaches and Ocean City a few miles away! It is located in a very quiet neighborhood too My family loved it from teens to tweens I highly recommend this house if you are looking for a beach vacation

The Good and the Not So Good

First, the good. The home was very clean & pool was amazing. Our five grandchildren had the most fun in it. The home is located close to several places to eat, Food Lion is less than a mile & there is a fresh produce stand just adjacent across the street. The beach and Ocean City Boardwalk are easily and quickly reached. Now the not so good. During our first night, a Smoke alarm/CO2 detector started to blare. No sign of fire but the problem could be deadly CO2. We removed the blaring detector and called the owner who said the fire alarm system was wireless, he was monitoring it, he saw no problem & he would have someone come on Monday to fix it. Monday, I texted TVs/internet down & alarm’s digital Control Panel was showing a “System Trouble Condition.” He texted the trouble condition was because we took down the detector & the Alarm Company would come on Wednesday. When the Alarm Company technician arrived and was shown the problem Smoke/CO2 alarm, his surprising response was: “It is a stand-alone detector that has nothing to do with my Alarm system.” The owner does not know it is not part of his wireless safety system. Potential CO2 is not a joke. I spent numerous hours dealing with the alarm and other technology problems. Owner did not thank me for keeping him informed or initiate follow-up on safety concerns. The rental is very nice, but I will not be renting it again because of the stress, hassle, and failure of owner to be a good Vrbo host.

Family Vacation

We had a great week. The house was spacious for 8 adults and 4 children ages 11 - 6 - 2 - 1. The pool was beautiful and a great bonus after a day out. We were happy to be a bit removed from the boardwalk and beach crowds yet close enough to enjoy that at times. We would highly recommend this location.

Selbyville DE Summer Vacation 2023

Nice property. My grandchildren loved the pool. House is spacious. Manager reacted promptly to our concerns. We have a boat and property is close to several marinas. Also property is close to beach and Ocean City boardwalk.

great trip again

Stayed last year and came back again this year. Fantastic stay. Air conditioning was better than last year as it was replaced. This is truly a comfortable house and had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Thanks again. See you next year.

Amazing House

The property was beautiful, the pool was amazing. The house provided more than enough space for the 9 of us staying. The pool table and basketball hoop provided hours of entertainment for the kids and adults. The AC kept most of the house cool at all times, the furniture was extremely comfortable, the wifi was fast and the kitchen was more than enough room. The outdoor restroom and shower by the pool made things much easier when using the pool. The house is not on the beach but is only a short drive from all the major attractions. I would recommend driving anywhere before 10 am to avoid beach traffic, but other than that, it was GREAT!

Family vacation

Very pleased with the cleanliness of house and how well kitchen is stocked with dishes and pans. The weather was on chilly side but we all still enjoyed the large pool and how close we were to beach access. The bedrooms worked for our group and kids loved spending time in the upstairs.
