Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took this vacation to get all the little cousins together. It was the first time they had all been on a trip together and this amazing house made it so comfortable and fun! The best part of this house was the fact that each family unit had their own room with a bathroom and the bunk room was the highlight for all the little boys. The living space was the perfect size to feel together but also not cramped. The back patio and pool were a great addition to have on this trip, especially after beach time when we could just rinse off in the outdoor shower and then just hop right in the pool.

Beautiful home and wonderful host

Our week at Reel Deal was so much fun. The space was perfect for our large family. The host was excellent and answered any questions or concerns asap. There were a few things that we thought would make the stay even better and our suggestions were welcomed. The house is well stocked with everything you need. It's an easy walk to the beach. We will be back

Our stay at the Reel Deel

A wonderful property for our family of all ages. The kids loved the pool, everyone loved the easy access to the beach, the 6 bathrooms and lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. Enough room for all 17 of us. Golf cart was a hit and so practical. Could have used some more bath towels and the outdoor fp wasnā€™t working.

Family vacation

It is a beautiful property with very nice amenities. The pool had a splash pad for the little ones but large enough to accommodate everyone. Having the golf cart was very useful in transporting people and beach equipment to and from the beach. The beach was a 5 minute walk if wanted to walk. Blue Mountain Beach is one of the prettiest beaches I have ever been to.

Perfect house

The house is amazing. We had two families with young children who loved the pool and the beach. The house was exactly how it was described. There were even some extra beach chairs. We would rent again and if it ever went up for sale we would buy it. Amazing property.

Family Reunion

Really is the Real Deal

This is an amazing house. Everything is as represented. We had a few initial hiccups with some things not working but the caretaker responded immediately and got everything in working order. Would definitely recommend this place!

Only complaint is the internet is very weak. (This may just be the Blue Mountain area, in general.) I usually work for about an hour at night while on vacation, and this was extremely hard with the low signal. The home had great wifi, but the internet was still very slow. Other than that, the house was great, and we would definitely stay there again.

The house had more than enough space for 8 children, the pool area was beautiful. Walk to the beach was pretty easy, the house has plenty of beach chairs and beach toys, The only things I would love to see would be a better outdoor eating area, maybe a large table. The fireplace and pool lights never worked for us while we were there, not that it was a big deal. Also the golf cart never really held a good charge, would not trust it to drive to another town but to and from the beach it was great. Overall the house is beautiful, location to the beach was a easy walk. We will most definitely return to Reel Deal.

Great House, Great Location

We just completed a fantastic stay here at the Blue Mountain Beach house alongside 30A. The house was bigger than we imagined and fit our party of 13 easily. Situated along 3-A, we walked to our favorite ice cream shops more than once and were super close to a few of our favorite restaurants. The golf cart provided quick transportation to the beach though it is in walking distance. Like most families, each time we went, we took a truck load of toys, chairs, and such, most of which was found in the garage of the house; so the golf cart was nice for that. The house was clean, and the pool was perfect. The only issue, (minor for us) was that we could not get the downstairs TV to change channels. I'm sure it was operator error, and we didn't bother the manager with it. Speaking of; Kim was great. Always relied back within seconds. One thing I didn't notice in the pictures is that the upstairs extra room above the garage has its own bathroom and kitchen area. It's like a little apartment. It was perfect for our teenage girls to have their own space away from siblings. If you have a large group and want a spacious house with plenty of room, close to the beach and right on 30A, this spot is perfect. We will be back!

Our Christmas/New Year's Family Holiday at Blue Mtn Beach House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental property -- only 5 minutes from the beach! The house was huge and spacious, had many unique features, such as a chandelier over the bathtub in the first-floor bathroom, bathtub in the shower in another bathroom, and balconies attached to all the rooms we used! Really nice! The house also included a 6-passenger cart, which was very handy. We had plenty of room for large gatherings together as well as personal space. The house was well-lit (except no outside lighting in front) and had floor-to-ceiling windows in the Great Room leading out to the patio and pool area. The kitchen appliances were state-of-the-art. (It actually would have been helpful to have instructions on use of the oven and dishwasher!) The pool and patio areas were beautiful, just as shown in the photo. Our concerns about the property had to do with cleanliness. The yard, grills, and patio covers were dirty, but our host (Kim) was very responsive in getting the patio covers cleaned. As a matter of fact, she responded immediately to our emails with quick replies. We did share with her other concerns of lack of cleanliness in the first-floor, bedroom, great room, and kitchen areas, and one other bedroom area. We LOVED the house; however, as we told our host, there needed to be more attention to cleaning before guests arrived, especially since the rental included a cleaning fee. Despite that, we still enjoyed being there!

There is plenty of space throughout the house, including a large seating area near the tv, large dining room table (as well as extra barstools near kitchen island), and ample outdoor seating. The pool is great for days when you just want to relax at home, or maybe cool off after hitting the beach...we loved that some parts of the pool were also shaded from the hot sun.Communication with the property manager was timely and helpful. The golf cart was a nice bonus too...just make sure you watch the parking signs! We mainly used the golf cart to shuttle our family to and from the beach.We would definitely rent this property again if we are back in the area! Thank you for having us.

The pool is just perfect for those who get tired of the sand.I offer this point - the golf cart is nice, but not very usable. There is little to no parking. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVED everything about this house. Plenty of bedrooms and space. We had 4 couples plus 2 two year toddlers. LOTS of space in family room and kitchen. The table sat 12 people. Walking to the beach was about 7-9 minute walk and the golfcart was a lifesaver. We went to the beach every morning from approx. 9:30am to about 1:00pm (nap time). We loved hanging out at the pool in the afternoons. Every convenience came with the Reel Deal. The Coastal Blue management was super responsive to any and all of our questions. There is a private beach and a public beach and that was a little confusing but it's easy to learn the ropes on day 1. Everyday we rented four chairs and two umbrellas from 30A Shade Rentals (they were sitting on the Blue Mountain Beach set up for business) about $100 or less a day, depends on how many days so it gets cheaper. We did give them a nice tip and they took good care of us the rest of the week. Super nice young men and very helpful. So at the house, there were about 8 chairs (some low and some normal height), a beach umbrella and lots of sand toys for kids, castles, shovels, water squirters, etc. They also had about 8 regular size beach towels which came in handy. There are NO seasonings, S or P, or anything else so bring your own. Lots of conveniences though. We will definitely go back and rent the Reel Deal.
