A total 5 stars all the way around- from prompt communication by hosts when we had questions, to the property being super clean! It can be hard to find a place to stay for just 2 people & Paul & Janet’s place was perfect for just myself & my husband. It’s in a good, central location to visit beaches in all directions. The biggest perks we greatly appreciated: drinking water (this was huge!) & all the beach supplies- from beach towels to a beach blanket & beach chairs to a small cooler for the beach were all provided. We would definitely recommend!

The property was perfect for my husband and I. Location convenient to grocery store and all the beaches. We loved the outdoor shower. And sitting outside watching the sunset, so nice. Quiet spot as no one is beside you or behind you. Being able to cook breakfast and dinner a plus too! I highly recommend this property!!!

Janet was a wonderful host. Her home is beautiful and immaculately clean. We loved the location, the beach access to Tar Bay beach was amazing and I loved having a place to walk in the mornings. I 100 percent can recommend staying here. It’s in the middle of the island so traveling either way was great. I loved everything about my stay. It was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a great affordable place, look no further than “This Fitz” because it does! Looking forward to coming back for another stay. Thank you for sharing your home with my daughter and I.

Our stay was incredible! The apartment was immaculately clean, welcoming, well equipped with all the necessities and as comfortable as being in my own home. Our hosts were gracious, generous and very informative for things to do and places to go. Their property is the epitome of lush tropical plants and trees. We couldn’t ask for a more beautiful place to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We highly recommend staying at The Fitz, and promise that you will return year after year.

Our stay was exactly as described in the listing, perfect! The home was fresh and clean, with all necessities easily accessible. The host was very easy to communicate with and friendly. The short walk to the beach was easily found thanks to cute signage pointing the way. Thanks to the competitive price and friendly host, I’d gladly book here again, no hesitation.

We had a great stay. The property was well equipped and comfortable. The path to the beach was nicely landscaped and took approximately 3-4 minutes to get to the beach. Great location to see the whole island.

“This Fitz” was perfect for my wife and I. We enjoyed our morning walks and 350 steps to the beach then miles of beach was great. The property is well kept with accurate pictures and description. The owners were so warm, inviting, and quick to respond to any questions and had great recommendations on food, boat rentals, and excursion companies. We recommend this property and hope to be back one day!

Sobre o anfitrião

Anfitrião: Janet

Imagem do perfil do anfitrião
We have been going to Exuma since the 1980’s. Our brother built the round house on TarBay and we loved going to visit him. He then sold that house and bought Seascape also on TarBay. As we were planning our retirement and having property on both sides of Queen’s Highway he sold us the property with a 10 foot right away to the beach which enabled us to build the deck and stairs to the beach. We built our retirement winter home and enjoy all the wonderful people we have met over the years.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

The studio apartment, This Fitz has been renovated to accommodate 2 guests. It is located on Tar Bay in beautiful grounds. Just across the road is a private path that leads you straight on to the beach. It offers seclusion without being remote. A perfect combination.
Local amenities are a short drive away.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This Fitz is the ideal base to relax after a hard days sunbathing. Whether you want to cook up a meal at home and relax on the porch in the beautifully maintained gardens, or take a shower and head out to one of the many restaurants, this perfectly placed property will provide you with peace and tranquility.
