Affordable Comfy Condo - Just Steps Away from a Sandy Beach!

This Beautiful completely remodeled condo in Kihei Bay Vista complex is located across the street from the Humpback Whale Museum and historic Kulepolepo Beach. This beach is ideal for children as the water is generally calm. We have beach chairs and toys for your use at our condo. Local outrigger canoe clubs also house their outrigger canoes near by and often you can contact them to participate in some of their activities, The Maui Bay Vista Beach Club a very short walk across the street, where you can enjoy you favorite beverage while watching some of the most AMAZING sunsets. If you get up early enough, you can walk across the street and catch a glimpse of sea turtle or two! You can see and hear the ocean from our lanai, as well as see majestic Haleakala peeking over the rooftops...and you can see beautiful Kahalawai (West Maui Mountains from the bedroom window as well.

The pool/jacuzzi and BBQ area is located directly in front of our unit at the very bottom of the stairs. Kihei Bay Vista also offers free parking for quests, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. There are only 60 units in the complex; so it's peaceful and quiet...a perfect tropical retreat!!

We are also close to shopping and dining. Safeway and Starbucks are located only 5 minutes away, along with other great local eateries and markets. The complex is also close to all the main thoroughfares on Maui. We are only 15-20 minutes away from the airport and the bus stop is right in front of the complex. Many of our favorite places are just minutes away!!

Ma'alea Harbor and the Aquarium are a 5 - 10 minute drive, and Wailuku 15-20 minutes. Wailea and our favorite beaches, such as Makena (known by locals as Big Beach) is only 15 - 20 minutes away. Take a drive to the West Side to enjoy Ka'anapali Beach and Napili Bay. Upcountry and the famed Ulupalakua Ranch is close at hand also. While there, you can also stop in at the winery and partake in tasting some fabulous Maui wine and enjoying the beautiful country there. Or how about a tour to visit Iao Valley and Na Wai Eha (the 4 waters) to soak up a bit of culture and learn about what makes Maui so special. All these places, attractions and more there for you to relax and enjoy.

Comfortable bed. Home was nicely furnished. Nice beach chairs. Bring your own beach towels because they don’t allow them to be taken out. The pool area was good but the hot tub was very dated. But the location is excellent and the beach across the road is about a 2 minute walk. We didn’t swim there but it’s perfect for watching the sunset and the turtles.

Sandy beach just across the road with a lovely ocean breeze. Beautiful grounds. Clean, well organized condo, with helpful information and attentive owners. There was even a touch of holiday cheer. There are a lot less people than farther down the road.

Our favorite place - ever

We have now stayed at this condo for the 3rd time. It is such a comfort coming into a place that just feels like home. Gabi and Ken have done such an amazing job with this condo and has supplied everything you could think of needing.My wife and I are looking forward to our next trip to Maui and our next stay at this condo.

Amazing everything.

This is our second stay at Kenneth and Gabrielle's condo in Kihei. This condo and location are so good it makes it tough for any other location we stay at to even compare. The condo is spotlessly clean, is super well stocked, and literally across the road to the beach. It is such a small complex that it is always quiet. The grounds are immaculate and the pool deck and pool are great. Parking is easy with lots of available spots. I could go on and on about this condo and area, but I'll just say that we have booked it again for our next visit to Maui. Great owners with a great condo. No complaints at all.

Comfortable and Well Stocked Kihei Condo

This vacation rental offered everything our family needed for an easy and affordable stay on Maui. The location is right across from the beach and the unit is quiet and comfortable. I appreciated the hosts efforts to reduce unnecessary single use plastics, such as the Brita filtered water pitcher in the fridge 👍 We enjoyed the beach gear, the pool and hot tub. As a safety note, the dresser in the bedroom needs to be fastened to the wall. With two drawers pulled out, it fell forwards onto my 3 year old and luckily an adult was there to catch it! Overall good value, we would stay here again

Great Location

This condo complex sits in the perfect location on the northern side of Kihei. The property is beautiful with tropical plants growing throughout and well maintained. The pool was warm and there is a very secluded beach across the street. The condo itself had everything we would have needed and was very relaxing. Cool ocean breezes blew through the condo so we never had to use the AC.

The Best Rental EVER!

My wife and I have been staying at vacation rentals for many, many years. While most have been very good, we have never felt as at home as we did in this condo. To say it was well supplied is a major understatement. Everything we could have imagined was supplied - and then some. The condo was incredibly clean in side and outside on the lanai. The appliances all worked very well, the AC was good and there were even extra floor fans in the bedroom closet if needed. The location was also a major plus. Right across the street is a beautiful sandy beach which never had many people there are all. It practically felt like a private beach. Every evening we would take in the sunsets and watch the sea turtles come in. The entire complex was also immaculately cared for. The pool and hot tub were super clean, the grounds were well maintained and everything around the property was well cared for. We loved this property so much that we have already booked our next trip back there. While Maui is a beautiful island, having a place as nice as this to stay at made the vacation that much better. Thank you so much to Ken and Gabrielle for sharing your home with us. We look forward to our next visit there. Mahalo!

Lovely location comfortable and close to beach!

Loves: The lanai in the morning is a great spot for coffee and breakfast. The access to the perfect kids beach right across the street The carpet! The pool and jacuzzi both close but also very clean. Pool area was quiet despite being in front of and below condo. Jacuzzi is HOT! How the condo/lanai faces the palm trees and foliage. It gives you that lovely tropic vibe despite not seeing the beach. Also the shows and sounds of birds. Owners were very communicative! No over the top check out process! Besides a sofa there is a nice reclining chair! I spend so much time scrolling units and if I see either the rattan furniture or a tiny sofa all alone I scroll past, regardless of price! Didn’t love so much but wouldn’t stop me from renting again: The washing machine is a bit temperamental with the door (and I promise we didn’t overload it!) No ac in the bedroom - honestly I was fine, but my husband was stressed the first couple hours that he wouldn’t be able to sleep without ac. I just took both fans and put on in the hall and one right by the bed and left the fan in the room on. Again really enjoyed the stay, the condo was comfy and inviting after the beach and I would come back, as well as recommend to others if you’re looking for a quiet place close to the beach… literally less than five minute!

Great amenities and location!!

The place is amazing with everything stocked for a wonderful stay in the island. All beach gear, snorkeling gear and wonderful kitchen appliances! The pool and hot tub were great as well. Host is very responsive and accommodating! Highly recommend this for future guests!!

Great quiet spot that has everything you need!

Ken and Gabi’s place was perfect for us for our wonderful week in Maui. Centrally located to great food and activities in Kihei and Wailea and easy to drive to get to the other great parts of the island. Amenities were great and place was very cleanly and we loved the lanai for meals or relaxing. Would recommend their place highly! Thanks Ken and Gabi!

It was a pleasant stay. There is a beach across the street but we ended up going down to Kam II instead. Before sunset you can go across the street and watch the turtles come into the protected area.

Einfach klasse!

Eine super ausgestattete Unterkunft in einer top-gepflegten Anlage, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Klasse auch Pool und Whirlpool direkt vor dem Haus, sogar eine Barbecue-Station war im Poolbereich vorhanden (haben wir aber nicht genutzt). Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt, für uns war es wirklich optimal! Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen.

Comfortable, great location

Great simple condo, in a convenient location. They thought of everything as far as amenities and beach supplies offered with the stay. Price was very reasonable, and I enjoyed reading other guest experiences in the notebooks, as well as recommendations for the island. Highly recommend!

Great Stay in Kihei!

We loved our stay at this locale! The condo is in a beautiful garden-like setting, complete with pool and outdoor grills. The beach, directly across the street, is relatively quiet, and has opportunities for shade and sun. There is an historic fish pond that is great for swimming. While we were there, there were 5 or 6 very large sea turtles that were sunning on the rocks each day. The condo was the best-equipped condo we have ever stayed at anywhere, with the owners striving to cover every possible need of vacationers who are away from home. They even asked what could they do better (nothing!). The condo is on the second floor, so note you will need to carry your suitcase up a flight of stairs. Rent this one with confidence. We would definitely stay here again for future visits.

Great condo and turtle heaven

The condo was so comfortable that we felt like we were home. Everything was just as pictured in the posting. Great amenities and the bbq’s were so convenient. The surprise of the turtles most nights and mornings in the fish pond was an absolute thrill and just across the street! We would absolutely rent this condo again if we come back to Maui

Perfect for a couple or with kids! Clean, quiet, Organized and well maintained.

SUMMARY: Couples or those with a kid or two 10 years of age or younger: Rent this unit with confidence that it’s clean, well located, well stocked by friendly, welcoming, communicative wonderful hosts! The condo is very clean, organized & well maintained. Parking is plentiful & all in all it really felt like home. However, if you are counting on the pull out bed for anyone over the age of 12 - don’t! (This is not a complaint on my part, just information!) I personally have no complaints whatsoever & we absolutely would NOT HESITATE to stay here again! In fact, we can’t wait to come back. PROS: Fantastic Host! I can’t stress that enough. What a gem. Not only were they friendly, gracious, welcoming and kind but the communication was absolutely top notch. It started well before our stay when I had a few questions - she always answered thoroughly, promptly and patiently. Then they sent through, logical, informative instructions on how to find the unit, get in the door, etc etc.. which were delivered at exactly the right time and were well formatted. The condo is in a PERFECT location — in a clean, quiet complex with a great pool and it’s also located directly across the street from a great beach. The condo itself has everything you need: bedding, pots, pans, utensils, dishwasher, instant pot, blender, air fryer, glassware, a washer/dryer. There were a some spices, oils and vinegars in the cabinet left by prior guests. They have beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, fins, a few toys for the kids. I appreciated the very handy binder chock full of information about local shopping, restaurants, WIFI passwords, instructions on how to use the TV. The WIFI Signal was strong and the TV’s worked fantastic with plenty of cable channels. CON: I want to be perfectly clear that this NOT meant to be a complaint but rather to only to give potential guests information so they can make the best choice for their party, to wit: The pull out bed is just NOT comfortable. If you are counting on it to be used by adults or teenagers - don’t! The hosts very kindly includes a foam mattress topper that you can add to the mattress, but even with that - it’s unbearable. I want to stress that that this is NOT the fault of the host and hostesses because there hasn’t been a single comfortable pull out bed in the history of all pull out beds. They are just inherently uncomfortable and this one is no exception. THANK YOU!

Perfect condo for a family with kids under 12!

The condo was well located, close by to most things, right across from the beach and had a lovely pool. Though we were out most of the time, we enjoyed our time indoors~ Our favourite memory will be eating dinner on the very spacious lanai, overlooking the beautiful view and hearing the palms sway and rustle in the sea breeze!

Maui RE-connection after moving to California 25 years ago!

I was hoping for the best and was more than pleasantly supprised since this was my first stay in Kihei after many years away. Location was excellent, but entry/exit from parking driveway was sketchy with all that Kihei Rd. traffic...just be careful! Being in an owner unit had many uncommon amenities such as snorkel gear, boogie board & fins and all the beach picnic stuff that you would normally have to rent at other properties. I was revived, restored and refreshed during my stay at your property and would reccommend it to anyone who may be reading this review. Maui No Ka Oe! and Kihei Bay Vista worked just fine for this ex-resident of paradise! Mahalo & Aloha! P.S. My compliments to your maintenance / landscape guy Edward for what he does to keep your facility beautiful.

feel like home

This place got everything you need for your vacation but it feel like you stay at home. great location, just across of the beach. My kids enjoy going to the pool and hot tub after we get back exploring Maui. Close to the restaurant, convenient stores, gas station, and the park. Ken and Gabbi provide all the stuff that you need. Check in was easy. They also have the list of favorite places we should visit, which we really love that. ( other people who stay here before also add more. I followed them and found good place that we haven't known before. Recommended !! Mahalo.

The location, the beautiful grounds, the beach across the street were all just perfect for a relaxing retreat. Kihei is laid back and very 'local', yet has everything you need in close proximity.
