Excellent value - OCEAN VIEW - D112

This freshly 754 square foot condo is just steps from the beach, renovated and a corner-unit offering stunning ocean views! Pack up the cooler and head to the beach or lounge by the pool and soak up the serenity that is Kihei Bay Vista.

Relaxing, airy and open, this comfortable unit is great for families and couples alike. Sit on the airy lanai, or enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, an open floor plan, a king bed and walk in closet in the master bedroom!

This condo is on the first floor with just a few stairs leading up to it. The grounds of this charming complex are lush and tropical and offer an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a picnic pavilion and BBQs. This courtyard is central to the complex and is visible from the large lanai attached to this unit.

Kihei Bay Vista is across the street from the beach and is within walking distance to the Whale Sanctuary and Kalepolepo park.

Please Note: The County will be clearing out the gulch behind the complex sometime in Nov 2024- April 2025. There may be intermittent periods of dust and some noise. They will also be installing barrier wall to help reduce dust and noise.

Honeymoon stay

This place was wonderful! Other than the AC unit that malfunctioned (it was hot) it was the best place and location! We will be back.

Great view

Best condo in the unit. Great beach an ocean view. Very Beautiful garden is the whole complex multiple Beautiful tropical plants very well taken care of all the grounds are very clean and safe for everybody. Will stay there again and again. Lots of turtles just across the street during the evening and early morning

The unit was very clean and easily accessible to many beaches.

I found sunny Maui condo rentals very responsive and helpful throughout our whole stay. The condo itself was very clean and stocked well in the kitchen and with beach needs (towels, chairs, snorkels, etc...). I felt the location was a middle ground for many of the traditional Maui sites.

Awesome stay

Very comfortable. Nice decor. Some beach equipment included. I would rent again. Boy drawback is traffic noise but you won't hear it if running AC.

Very nicely set up.

This unit is right along the hiway therefore is very noisy. It needs a few repairs done to it...the sliding screen door doesn't work and the shower doesn't drain properly. Layout and setup is excellent though. I would recommend Kihei Bay Vista but not this particular unit.

We were quite disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. There was sand in the corner of the bathroom near the shower. Other spots weren’t as clean as we expected. The sofa bed is a joke. You should personally open it up and feel it. Would you sleep on this? I doubt it! We loved the beach right across the street. Great for getting in the water. Plus had some shaded areas. LOVED seeing the turtles out on the lava wall.

Great value with ocean view

We didn’t plan on spending much time at the condo, so wanted something nice enough, but at a lower cost. This was everything we needed it to be. The exterior of property is a little worn and dated although the grounds are maintained well, the interior of this condo has had some updates. We were satisfied and felt it was a good value. Extra blankets and sheets in the closet. Plenty of towels and beach towels for the 3 of us. My teenage daughter managed fine with the sleeper sofa with no complaints. The beach is across the street, but such a brief walk, it almost feels you are beach front when you look out the windows. It’s not a 5 star resort, but I give it 5 stars because I had no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect accommodations!

We were very pleased with every aspect of this condo! It is front and center with a view of the beach, waves and sunsets-- all from the living room and kitchen windows. Everything you could possibly need is already there, from the full kitchen and appliances, to in-unit laundry, to comfortable king size bed and fresh linens. A beautiful stone shower makes washing the salt and sand off a relaxing experience. Boogie-boards, ice chests, chairs, beach towels, etc. were provided to ensure a great day at the beach. A great location; close enough to attractions but far enough away to feel relaxed. Birds, geckos and hibiscus flowers on the lanai almost daily made the island vibe ever-present. We swam with sea turtles and snorkled litterally 50 yards from the living room couch. We will be back!! The staff was attentive and communicated with the owners to ensure our stay was amazing. Great value and we would highly recommend this for your next Maui getaway!!

Difficult to leave!

This was a relaxation vacation and did not disappoint. The unit was clean, you can tell a lot of thought went into making this a vacation stay. Finding there were beach chairs and coolers to use was a fun surprise. It's not the newest of units, but there have been plenty of upgrades. The view out to the beach was great, an hour in and we saw a whale in the bay breaching and spraying. The location is fabulous, just steps across to the beach and the fish pond. The fish pond!!!! Every night at sunset there were turtles. If I ad to make any suggestions it would be to put one way film on the windows because there are plenty of people and cars that drive by. And just to upgrade the kitchen utensils and dinnerware. But other than that we were very comfortable and the other property guests and residents were friendly. We love Kihei and will stay there again.

Decent but need deep cleaning

Overall the unit is pleasant and on the surface, clean enough. However as I spent more time there you can tell there are areas, especially in the bathroom that needs more than surface cleaning. There is occasionally a bizarre odor coming from the bathroom I could not identify. The unit is right on S. Kihei road so the traffic will be a bit noisy until it dies down in the late evening. There is a lot of construction going on the highway until November 2022 so they periodically shut things down and funnel everything through that part of Kihei Rd. and it becomes a traffic nightmare 20-30 mins just to go 1-2 miles. Appliances work but are dated, especially the washer/dryer. Overall I was satisfied with the place.

four times, and still enjoying our stay

Unit was different from three years ago. Needs a lamp in the living room for reading. Had lights in the ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom that had switches that needed "discovering" how to use them. Other than that, and increased traffic on the street, and disappointing shoreline access due to flooding damage from a recent storm, All is familar to our previous visits.

Nice place to stay!

Good location & updated interior! Would have been nice to know ahead of time to bring some of our own shampoo & soaps. There were some dirty dishes in the cupboards as well. Overall, still a great place to stay and friendly, responsive guest services!

Great location for close quiet beach and not far from all amenities in Kihei

Our location, the beach (right across the street), amenities in the condo, cleanliness and comforts of the condo were all 5 star. We really enjoyed our rental. It's only a 2 minute drive or 10-15 minute walk to the Azera complex which has all kinds of business' (restaurants, bank, coffee shops etc) There's 2 farmers markets nearby (one with fruit, vegetable, etc, and the other with clothes and Hawaiian knick knacks. The king size bed is true to size and has REALLY comfortable sheets. The bed itself isn't a posturpedic but quite comfortable nonetheless. There's a dishwasher, laundry, big shower, decent lighting especially in evenings where you can see most of the sunset and only have to walk across the road to get an amazing sunset on the beach. The beach itself is very quiet which is great. Didn't notice any rocks. Apparently there's smaller to medium sized turtles in the little pond before the beach as well. The only notable downside was the road noise and considering it's a fairly busy road, there isn't much of a lull until late in the evening. It was NOT loud enough to keep us up at night but still fairly noisy. My girlfriend is a light sleeper and she had no problem. Other condos in the same complex would probably be fine as they're not close to the road. Big patio and decent view of the beach. Overall the place was perfect for staying in Kihei to be away from all the busyness of Kihei and Wailea but still very close to Uber or drive yourself in a short time. **Road noise is why we gave 4 stars as it's not the best to enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink on the patio with all the cars but we didn't mind too much. ** Pool and hot tub clean and good.

Outstanding Location and lovely view from the Living Room

Excellent condo literally across the road from the beach. Plenty of honu to be seen, steps away and a beautiful sunset or two as well. You can relax on the balcony in the morning and watch the sun come up behind Hale'akala. The only drawback to the location is the traffic noise, while more minimal at night-it is something to consider. The folks at Sunny Maui condos send out tips and information about the happenings around the island, including places to eat and visit. I would definitely book a stay here again.
