This is a lovely place to stay for 2 adults and, maybe their 3 kids or five close, laid back friends. The in-wall beds in the loft are cool, but don't provide a lot of privacy, and both share the bath/shower/laundry room. The main bedroom on the first floor is great except the lack of a barn door on the toilet. The remaining tiny room has a massage table--which has a thick comfortable pad on it, but no bedside table, no lamp, no usable closet, and requires the guest to use of the powder room across the hall. The location is such a cool place with an outstanding river and sunset view from the huge windows and the awesome wrap around decking! The kitchen/bar seem an after thought and are minimally outfitted along with a non-functioning ice maker (for now). We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of finding a Derby Pie on the counter for Derby weekend, and we would have doubly appreciated at least a single marker or reflector on the driveway which was located only after repeat reconnaissance efforts. All in all, this is a five star location and we appreciate Jon allowing us to extend one extra day. He was awesome!!
