Cozy up in this delightful 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom vacation rental condo, Mainsail 202, that sleeps 4, just steps from the white sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast. Relax, unwind, and let your cares float away as you become a part of the local beach culture. Grab a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the water from the deck of this unit. The view is gorgeous! This unit is on the first floor, so there is easy access to the pools, grilling areas, workout room, and the boardwalks, which bring you to the beach.

This beach condo accommodates 4 guests with a queen in the bedroom and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The full bathroom includes a walk-in shower. If you're in the mood to stay home, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to prepare a home-cooked meal and a Keurig coffee machine. Need a night out? Mainsail is located directly across from the popular 'Silver Sands' designer outlet mall and within walking distance of an abundance of shopping and dining. Starbucks is just across the street!

Mainsail is a beachfront resort and offers an array of amenities. You'll enjoy the 2 pools (seasonally heated in the winter), hot tub, kiddie pool, an area with several gas grills, a gym with beautiful Gulf views, a game room with vending machines, covered parking, courtesy patrol, tennis courts (equipped with shuffleboard), wireless internet access, and meeting facilities. Close to the Silver Sands Premium Outlet Mall, golf, fine dining, and a host of other activities, you will be guaranteed a fun-filled vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was very disappointing to say the least. There was a musty smell in the unit. Even airing it out didn’t help. The bedroom is opposite the elevator. I woken up by people yelling and laughing at midnight. The shower is smaller than one on a cruise ship.The worst part was the cockroaches found in the kitchen. Some half dead and some not.The best thing about this place is how close it is to a beautiful beach.

Great location

Overall the pics shown didn’t define the lack of space in the tiny bathroom esp access to the sink area sliding door to patio was difficult to open and shut glass in door was murky. Patio table set disappointing needed repairs Kitchen sink had stains and corroded drain. Drapes not appealing. Low outdated ceiling . Flaking paint from laundry room ceiling . Noise from pedestrians access to outdoor elevator directly across from apt and noise from apt above very noticeable at times. Immediate outdoor area from apt door very dreary. Location was the best feature.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This small unit is perfectly positioned - steps away from the boardwalk to the beach or the pool in the other direction. The ground level provides quick, convenient access to your room anytime it is needed. Location of Mainsail resort provides shopping, restaurants and other activities (Baytowne Village and Harbor Boulevard) only a few minutes drive. Groceries are only a short drive as well if you plan to use the kitchen during the stay.Only downsides to the unit are that there are not any kitchen staple food items (salt pepper, cooking oil, etc.) so bring what you can and try not to have extra if you are traveling by airline. There is plenty of cookware and variety for anything you may need in that case. The pull out couch bed is also not very comfortable if that is something you need/plan to use.

Perfect for small family vacation!

Family had a great time and would visit again. Some difficulty with checkin, but room was great! Not impressed with beach rental staff - not very friendly. Despite these 3rd party setbacks, the condo, location and beach were fantastic!

Beach trip 2021

Too many housewares in kitchen did not leave room for any groceries or things we brought. There was major exterior renovation just outside our unit every day from 8-4 and was very loud. Could not relax in unit during the day. Wish we had of been advised prior to renting. Other tenants we spoke to said they were told up front and offered discount if they stayed. Location of unit and proximity to beach could not have been better.

Location, Location, Location

This condo was perfect for us and our 6 year old daughter. It was well decorated and equipped for a comfortable stay. You can walk right out the sliding doors and be just a few steps to the beach, this made it very convenient to go back and forth. Kim is wonderful to deal with, she answers all questions quickly and clearly. We would gladly rent this condo again!

Great location

Check in was not explained well. No one at the gate when we came through. Great property, very cozy. Only complaint… 74 is to warm especially when sleeping!

Wonderful property!

I absolutely loved this place! Roomy living and kitchen areas. One reviewer said the bedroom is small, and it is, but fine for a vacation stay. Another said the shower was too small even for a small person and they had to open the shower door to get out of the water, but the shower head is mounted in the ceiling and is really large, like being in a rain shower! All you have to do is adjust the shower head so the water is flowing away from you. The person I spoke with in the office was super and very helpful, I arrived on the weekend and she told me to call her any time I needed anything at all. The unit I stayed in is right at the beach, I loved being just steps from the sand! I really can't say enough about how fabulous this place is, I will definitely be going back there when ever I can!

The location is great being on the ground floor and close to the beach. The condo was nice, clean, and had all the appliances and utensils for a full kitchen, but the bedroom was small and the shower was tiny. We had a great time while in Destin and would recommend this condo to families with smaller children.

We love main sail. It has a great location and great beach. This room in particular was pretty small though. The bedroom was super small and barely had air flow and the shower was very small even for someone small. I ended up showering with the shower door open just so I could not be under the water.
