newly renovated 3 Bedroom + Kids Loft Home on a quiet Turtle Cove at Lake Greenwood. Nicely appointed with all the toys including 2 firepits, hot tub, dock, swimming area, pool table, ping-pong table, gas grill, & indoor gas fireplace with a sky light. Room length folding doors easily open to connect the inside rooms to the large screen porch. Porch has large screen TV, Custom Live Edge Bar, Full Refrigerator, Wet Sink and Live Edge Dining Table. Beautiful sunrises greet you as the sun glitters on the water over the lake. Watch the fish jump and the eagles soar as you enjoy serene lake views from virtually every room. Fish, Swim, Paddle Boat or just Relax at Porch-U-Pine. The house is fully stocked everything you need to have a relaxing family stay. Note: This has always been our family vacation home, the kids chose the name Porch-U-Pine because the house has many porches and is surrounded by stately long tall pines. You're invited to bring your family to our family home and create your own lasting memories. Wonderful time

Place was beautiful and very peaceful. We had a great time fishing as we caught a few fish, kids loved the hot tub and pool table. Place was very clean and well stocked with all furnishings needed. Can't wait for our next trip maybe this summer :-)

Family get away

We had a wonderful time at this home. Everything was remodeled and the extra fridge made life very easy. The porch was simply AMAZING!! The host/owner was very quick to answer any questions that I had. We will definitely come back again.

Amazing Views

The wonderful porch was a great hangout for our family. The views were beautiful, especially as the sun came up over Lake Greenwood. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. We found some great restaurants nearby: The Old School House, Break on the Water and The Mill House. We rented a Pontoon from Skipper’s and enjoyed a day on the lake.

Relaxed, Comfortable, Clean, with a beautiful view

It was everything we hoped it would be! I went with my girlfriend to introduce her to my longtime best friend, his wife, and their new baby and dog. Everybody was happy and comfortable there. It was cozy and convenient inside and the deck situation outside was ideal. The view of the lake is gorgeous, particularly in the morning. Very peaceful. This is a great place for a quiet getaway with friends and family.

Family Vacation

This home has everything you need to enjoy the lake. Well stocked kitchen Comfortable beds Floats Nice linens Outdoor area is amazing! Great area of lake Great communication with owner Something travelers should know is that the bedrooms are small, so if you plan on using toddler blow up bed or pack and play there is only room for those in one bedroom. Not a negative just an FYI.

Family Fun For All!

My family of 4 ranges in age from 4 to 84 and a 7 month old dog. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Whether it was lounging in the hot tub, playing billiards and talking smack, or zipping across the lawn to doggy paddle in the lake, we all left with fond memories of quality family time. The space was a wonderful getaway for my immediate family while offering opportunities to host visiting family who live near. The house is beautifully designed and decorated with an emphasis having been placed on the communal open areas. The bedrooms are cozy and best for sleeping. The beds are quite comfortable and easy enough for my partially paralyzed mother to get in and out of independently. You'll never be bored but most assuredly will find peace of mind or whatever lakeside pleasures you seek.

Perfect getaway and retreat for graduation week

With our youngest of three sons graduating on May 1st, we were indeed hoping that this property on lake Greenwood would provide us with a place to retreat to celebrate and enjoy as a family. It didn’t disappoint. It was well appointed…provided more than enough room for our family of 7 to spread out and find the many places it offered to retreat to and enjoy. Whether it was the large porch with indoor fire pit, playing or relaxing on their extended property, kayaking on the beautiful lake or simply swimming or look laying out lakeside, we took advantage of it all! Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t spend more than just the 3 days there that we booked. A week would have been perfect. I can’t say enough good things about the property owner's and managers, the Smith family. They were very kind, quick and responsive to all of our questions and communications and provided us with really good insights on where to go nearby for groceries, dinner and any of the sites around their home worth checking out if time permitted. My wife and I would love to have a future home on a lake just like this one someday, but until that time comes, we’d certainly consider renting this one again and again. The Smith family have made this a very special lake home and a place for us and others to make our own memories at.

Absolutely Amazing Experience!

Everything is accurate in the listing - but better! The back porch is incredible! The owners were so responsive and helpful! They even had someone come out and check the hot tub for us within an hour! The beds are so comfortable and the property is beautiful! The kitchen and bathrooms have everything you need! Things the listing doesn’t mention that was a huge hit - the rope swing off the dock! That was a cool surprise! The cove is great for kids to swim and play away from the water. There is even a little sandbar around the corner that we loved! The paddle boat, canoe, floats, ping pong and pool were a hit! You can get sun in the chairs down by the water or up on the porch and watch kids from either one. 3 fridges on the property was so convenient! And the kids loved doing s’mores and getting in the hot tub at night! *Tip: grocery stores are a little far, but if you have Instacart, you can get it all delivered right to the property! Skippers was amazing for our boat rental! And we loved eating at Port Grill! Amazing property and wonderful owners who made everything easy and made sure we felt right at home! You can’t go wrong with this pick! My family and I will definitely be back!
