Welcome to Prime Time!

This 5BR/5BA BEACHFRONT home offers plenty of space for multiple families!

The open living area is a great space for entertaining and spending time with family and friends while overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Just past the living room is a covered beachfront wrap-around deck complete with Polywood furniture and panoramic water views.

Four bedrooms are located on the main floor, along with the laundry closet with full size washer/dryer, gas fireplace and separate pantry. The two Gulf front bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen) each have deck access and a private bathroom with shower. The roadside bedrooms include another Queen bedroom which accesses a shared bathroom and a Bunk bedroom (double on bottom/twin on top) with a full private bathroom.

Upstairs is the King Master suite with TV area, private balcony and a spacious bathroom. The TV area includes a mini-fridge and single cup coffee maker as well as a bonus bedroom with single bed which adjoins the King suite. The bathroom offers double sinks, a large garden tub and open glass shower.

Additional conveniences include a crib and highchair, an elevator that travels from the ground floor to the 1st floor only, and a second refrigerator in our ground level storage room.

Beach access is easy and convenient via a private beach boardwalk that leads to the sand.

Outside amenities include an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning sink, under-house covered parking, charcoal grilling area and private swimming pool with pool heat option for an additional fee of $400 + tax per week.

Enjoyed our stay, liked that it was closer to beach than pictures made it seam. One half flight down to beach level from main room was also easier than many places I have stayed at st george. No elevator to top floor.

Boardwalk to the beach was well maintained and pool was great! The elevator was a blessing as we had someone with a broken leg. The upstairs bedroom has a small annex bedroom, which for some reason does not have a door which makes it hard to have someone stay in that room. Appliances need to be updated, refrigerator, and dishwasher, especially. The patio door from living room to deck is very hard to open...

2nd time at Prime Time

Our second visit. So much to like but not enough to go back third time. Location is great, beach not crowed, love the porch, indoor sitting area fits our family- a place for everyone to sit. Pool was cleaner this year. House could be a lot cleaner. Air intake was covered with dust and filter was completely blocked. Showers need a good cleaning and new shower curtains. Kitchen is small. Pots and pans need updated. Ice dispenser still doesn't work.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Came for the week with extended family ranging in age from 69 to 1yr. This property really had everything we needed to accommodate all. Having the baby items (crib, high chair, baby gates), tons of extra beach and pool items, beach towels, extra downstairs refrigerator made for a great stay. Plenty of seating, cookware, dinnerware, large washer/dryer, great deck furniture. Awesome views from both decks and very quick easy beach access with the boardwalk. The pool area was completely shaded until late morning which was great for the kids. We have stayed at many properties on the island for 30+ years of vacations and this was one of the most well equipped. Very satisfied with Forgotten Shores Property management as well. Had an issue with the AC during our stay and they sent someone out the next day to perform repairs.

The island and Apalach are very special to us and Primetime has been our home base for adventures. The improvements made by “Forgotten Shores” made our stays comfortable and worry free. The upper level master suite with the whirlpool tub, fridge and deck was ours while visiting friends and relatives enjoyed their new king sized beds and open plan grand room. The elevator was great to help with luggage and shopping. The fireplace warmed chilly mornings& evenings. All the comforts with an incredible unimpeded view of the Gulf. There is plenty to do in the area or just chill out on the decks, on the beach, or by the pool. We can’t recommend Primetime more highly.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are private which we all appreciated and the beach view and proximity to the beach itself are amazing! It seems like the house is a little older and could use some updating or touch up in places but it also seems like they’re working on it and have already made nice upgrades like the decking. I love the furniture since you can’t hurt it, no scratches stains etc., overall it was a great time! Oh, and we did reach out to management once and they immediately replied back. We will definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely home that had everything you could possibly need for your vacation. The view, the balconies, the living, dining, and kitchen areas, all were top notch. We only had two areas that they probably need to address: the shower curtains in two of the bathrooms were too short and water went everywhere and there was not a place to shave your legs. We ended up buying two chairs at the dollar store and donating them to the house. Second thing were the mattresses. All of the beds had platform bases, which means no box springs (and not much support). If they're going to keep the platforms, the mattresses should be replaced fairly often and with a good brand. Other than that, the home was phenomenal, and if needed we would stay there again. The elevator was awesome for my handicapped mother and for sending our bags up and down. Mellone at Forgotten Shores was also top notch in customer inquiries and everything else!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is a terrific size for multiple families or one large family. Having the pool is such a nice option. The house needs some repairs (bad dishwasher, cracked floor tiles, mold, cracked ceilings, etc.) but it was a pleasure to stay there. So much space in the living room for kids to run through and every room had its own bathroom. One thing that was bothersome is the current check-out guidance is for the renters to wash all the dishes and put them away, instead of loading the dishwasher and starting the load before leaving the rental. I think this encourages people to not wash the dishes. Every dish pulled from the drawers and cabinets had to be washed before use because it was visibly unclean. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will most likely return.

The living area was set up nicely with plenty of seating area for all 9 of us. Bedrooms were nice but disappointed in all of the bathrooms except the master bath. Showers were small/narrow. The kitchen is small and needs pots and pan replaced- most handles are loose. Ice maker made ice but wouldn't dispense ice. Nice dining table and chairs. Be nice to have a couple extra folding chairs to use around table. Pool was nice for our grands but area was messy. Need to provide a new pool net so one can clean trash out of pool. The carport and grilling area were messy. Lots of sand. Just didn't look clean. Did not use grill and would not due to the condition. Lots of leftover pipe, siding etc laying around house. Easy to get to beach. Wouldn't take much to spruce it up!

Our Week at "Prime Time" in November 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our Stay the first week in November 2023 at Prime Time Beach House in St. George Island FL was Awesome! Weather could not have been better 55 to 78 each day with no rain and low humidity. All five of us senior women had our own bed and bath and we were steps from the beach. The Elevator was a lifesaver for packing and unpacking and parking for four cars was not a problem. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the Washer and Dyer and Air Conditioning worked really well. Only down sides where the Biting bugs outside (beware and bring repellent). The beds where a little hard and springy for my taste and the house and kitchen could have been a little cleaner. However, I would highly recommend this house for Seniors and large families or multi families.
