Take a step back into history in this 1860 bungalow centrally located in the heart of America's oldest city. Walking distance to many historical sites, restaurants and shopping. Stay in and enjoy the heated pool, outdoor fire pit or cozy living room!

This cozy bungalow provides guests with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, an oversized eat-in kitchen and amazing living area. Whether enjoying a family vacation or a getaway with friends, we can guarantee you will feel right at home.

A floor plan is provided in the photos of this listing. We encourage all guests to look this over prior to booking to get a feel for the home. We like to remind guests this home as built over 160 years ago! The character and charm makes it a bit different than standard homes today.

The home offers high speed wifi internet which allows for streaming services and multiple device connections during your stay.

The Beehive Bungalow is located in a quiet neighborhood filled with beautiful historic homes built throughout the past 150 years. Lined with canopy oaks, the neighborhood is very enjoyable to walk to take in the sites as well as being very close to local shopping and restaurants.

We are pet friendly! We do have a couple of pet rules we as all guest to review prior to booking. The $150 fee covers 2 pups for stays up to a week. In the event of a longer stay, we will create a custom rate for you. Pleas note, the home is not fenced in so please make sure your pups are on a leash at all times when outside.

We ask all guests to be respectful of all our neighbors during their stay.

5. You must pick up your dog’s waste prior to check out and dispose of it in outside bin. Failure to due to will result in a $50 fee added.

Very clean, super cute, historic home! We loved making s'mores at the firepit! The adults and kids loved the old style arcade games. Within walking distance of pretty much everything. We really enjoyed staying here!

The property was in a very nice, central location. It was close to everything we wanted to do & the neighborhood was great. Unfortunately, the accuracy of the description of the property and the responsiveness of the host was where my review dropped. It took over 24hrs to get a response. The pool was NOT heated (as advertised and the main reason we booked this house instead of another) & no communication at all to let us know a tech was coming by early in the morning. The rooms were just that: rooms with a bed. No closet, no storage for any of our clothes or toiletries. The kitchen had plenty of plates & cups, but only one oversized mixing bowl. No food storage containers for those of us who like to cook for our families. I was hesitant to write any of this bc I have never left anything but 5 stars on any if the other properties we have visited, but I also have never experienced the lack of communication or lack of basic storage that this property offered. I just want others to know what they're getting into before they rent as I read reviews and none mentioned these issues. We only stayed a few days, but a week or longer would have been uncomfortable.

Located in the perfect area! Walk or short drive to nearly everything! Trolley tour and old jail and old merchantile right on the corner. Pool was a big plus after a day of sight seeing! Grilled steaks one night and burgers another. Back porch was our hangout, loved the screened in porch and pool! Final night of our stay we enjoyed a nice fire in the fire ring. Nothing but good times!

Great house & location!

We had everything we needed. Short walk to restaurants, shops and the historic downtown. The pool was clean and refreshing during the heat! I would recommend this bungalow for your next visit to St. Augustine!

Very cute quaint older house. Pictures don't give accurate details of exactly how house actually is. Main bedroom bed is a little hard, and oddly set up. The pool was dirty with stuff coming thru the netting above, but that was understandable with all the rain and storms. The house could use a little better cleaning as when we got there one of the bathroom rugs was soaked and the counters hadn't been wiped and the silverware and knives were dirty.Overall, we enjoyed the house And it took care of our shelter needs while on vacation.

Lovely older house

The house was located on a quaint tree lined street close to the fountain of youth. The bedrooms did not have TV. The water pressure in the second bathroom was low so everyone used the master shower. Plenty of space and overall good place to stay

Great Location and Pool

Loved the Beehive Bungalow, such a cnvienient location to all of the St Augustine area. The Property is very clean and nicelylayed out, the heated pool was a Huge Plus. Definitely will return to this property in the future.

Relaxing spot so close to everything

We were surprised how quiet this spot was considering how close it was to major tourist spots, the Old Town Trolley hub and the Fountain of Youth. After a long day of sightseeing, it was perfect to come back to a pool the kids could play in. The back porch is so relaxing to enjoy morning coffee and read. We loved walking around the corner each day to beautiful Magnolia Ave with the gorgeous trees draping over the road and peacocks everywhere!

This home is perfect. The location couldn't be better and the house had everything we needled

We went as a delayed Christmas with family. The location allowed us ti walk everywhere. The only negative was ir was too cold to enjoy the pool and patio area. We did have to get a Hulu account on order to watch a football game in rhe evening, the home doesn't offer much on the way of tv.

Fantastic stay!!!!

My husband, sister and myself settled in and had a wonderful time. The place was tastefully decorated and had all the ammenities! The beds and pillows were super comfortable and we all had agreat nights sleep. Also the place was very private with a fence around the property and a wonderful underground, private pool!!! Coffee in the morning on the deck by the pool was a real treat for us northeners. Would definitely recommend this place.

Charming bungalow

The house is older but has a lot of charm and decorated so cute 🐝 Even though the pool is not that deep, we enjoyed it! Great location, close to The Fountain of Youth and downtown St. Augustine. Very Quick responses from property manager and owner with any problems that arose. The owner is very accommodating.

Small but quaint property

We didn’t end up staying the full time because the property just wasn’t what we needed. There is only one television in the living room and it only has streaming services available…although it’s possible that it’s just that we couldn’t figure the cable out. The house is very cute, but smaller than the pictures make it seem. Perfect for a young family, but doesn’t really work with teenage boys. Brittany was very quick to respond and we didn’t have any problems, it just wasn’t right for us. Do note that though it says two full baths, one bathroom has a tub with a sprayer but you can’t stand up to take a shower. Other than that, it’s cute. No complaints, just wasn’t for us.

Saint Augustine vacay

Location was perfect. Downtown was walking distance and so was the fountain of youth. The property did appear to be larger in pics displayed on line but when we got there, it was smaller and we were 4 adults and a 2 year old child so we felt a bit crowded. Overall it was clean and the pool was a good thing since we had hot temperatures during our stay.

Cute house, great location

The house was in a great location, we could basically walk everywhere we wanted to go, only drove when we went to the 4WD beach. The beds were comfortable and the pool was refreshing. My family enjoyed it very much.

This property stole our hearts when we first came across it. The first time we walked through the doors, there was such a strong sense of home. St. Augustine holds such a special place in our world, and this house gave up a small piece of it's history and its beauty. We were ecstatic to get it up and running as a short term rental to be able to share the magic of this home with others who were coming to explore the amazing St. Augustine!

This house not only provides you and your family a cozy place to call home during your stay, it also allows you to immerse yourself into a local piece of history while visiting America's oldest city. This home was built in 1860 ( Pre Civil War!). Located in the kitchen, guests will be able to see a hand painted picture that was completed by the original owners.

Within walking distance of your front door, you can take a quick 5 minute walk to the famous Fountain of Youth or the County's Old Jail ( Built in 1891). Interested in a tour trolley ride? The Old Jail is also a main pickup point!

Interested in some of the best antique shopping or amazing restaurants? All are within walking distance of the Beehive Bungalow! Historic St. George Street is within a mile of the home along with other great sites such as Flagler College, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument as well as stunning historic churches!
