Freshly Updated in 2025 ā€” Your Walk-to-Slopes Mountain Getaway!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 5 with one king bed, and one twin-over-queen bunk bed. It features an updated kitchen and living area, and a private patio with ski slope views. Ideally located in River Run Village so youā€™re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Red Hawk Lodge offers shared amenities including an outdoor pool and two hot tubs.

The living room has comfy furniture and a flat screen TV mounted above a beautiful gas fireplace. The private patio is just off of the living room and offers great ski slope views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features beautiful granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and there are four stools at the breakfast bar. The first of two full bathrooms is just off of the living area and has a pedestal sink and shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and a mounted flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, a shower/tub combination and a door separates the toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom has a twin-over-queen bunk bed and a flat screen TV.

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 26 years old at the time of booking, and a minimu of 2 nights must be reserved.

**Ivory White Bedding** This property has been upgraded with ivory white bedding modeled after high-end hotels and resorts. Enjoy the luxury of a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. Featuring an uncompromising and industry leading standard of cleanliness, the duvet covers are laundered after each and every guest stay. The entire bed is remade with fresh, white linens for each guest arrival.

There is a private locker available off the lobby to story your gear. Locked bike storage is available in the heated, underground parking garage.

Great location!

This condo is clean and very conveniently located a short walk from the main gondola and the village. Loved the heated underground parking garage. I also saw some reviews mentioning an uncomfortable king bed; They must have replaced it because the mattress was quite comfortable! Overall, nice stay.

Good location and accommodations, couple of observations

We had a very pleasant experience staying at the condo. The only things that stand out is the master bathroom floor felt like it had not been swept as it appears there was sand/gravel when I walked on it barefooted when I first arrived. The other thing I want to mention is the check-in 4:30p/ checkout 10a times seem excessive with 6.5 hours turnaround time for the next guest check-in. Itā€™s outside industry standards and can create issues due to travel conditions during ski season.

Good location, but...

On Monday the elevator was out of service. Tuesday was water service during the day followed by no hot water Wednesday morning. Thursday was ok, but the gas fireplace still didn't work after troubleshooting and management saying they'd look into it. As we departed on Friday, another guest said they had no hot water. Other than that, it was brilliant.

Summer getaway

Overall the stay was great. Clean and great communication with staff. It was a little far to get to some activities but nice area. Hard to sleep in with construction going on but realize property making upgrades. At night leaving windows open for cool air was ok until the sprinklers went off in the middle of the night, which were right outside the rooms. Probably would have been better if not on 1st floor. Nice game area with pool table, but pool sticks were broken or in bad condition. Room was close to gane room so was very noisy some nights until 12:30 am due to a group of guys yelling while in game room and when going up and down the hall.

A relaxing week in late summer for Wife and I

We biked every day on the adjacent bike/walk path that connects to many miles of other Summit County paths. A couple of nitpicks: 1) Construction of large condo/resort across the street made for some extra noise and traffic. 2) We reported that the en suite bedroom satellite TV was on the fritz, and management offered to fix it. But since we didn't need it for our own use (there were other working TVs in the unit) we told them to just wait until we checked out. Summary: When I asked if she'd stay there again, Wife said "Absolutely".

Fun First Family Getaway

We have a 9 month old daughter and the layout worked really well to let her crawl around and not be worried. We were disappointed that the nearby construction blocked the path over to the gondola/river run village. The pool was open, but the heating mechanism was broken so we were unable to use it. These two features had originally drawn us to the property, so it was unfortunate that they werenā€™t what we weā€™re expecting. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Communication galore

1. The most communication I have ever received from a Vrbo! The company was on top of it to assure I know every ins and outs of the property, check in process, driving directions, neighborhood info ... e-mails texts ... 2. Very clean and updated apartment. It was spacious for the 3 of us, and probably up to 5 would fit comfortably. 3. Comfortable bedding. The kitchen was well equipped. Great coffee maker and toaster! 4. Covered secure parking under the apartment building, easy access by elevator. Trash and recycling is also right there by the elevator in the garage. 5. We chose a first-floor level apt so we can just walk out the back door, and ride our bikes, which was great. 1 minute walk to town (and overpriced restaurants) 6. Note: The community room of the building is right next door including a pool table and foosball table - users were respectful and there was no noise after 9PM though.

This property was our choice because it was on the ground floor with a walkout right to real grass and trees. The property description was accurate. The property was clean and when we needed help the company was quick to help. The property was quiet and the pool was enjoyed by the grandkids. The common area was good but very dark at night. (To the management only---there was supposed to be general things such as coffee and filters. There were none. There was no vacuum to keep the floor clean. There was salt and pepper. The place we stayed in last year was fully equipped for baking. The bedding was great. We enjoyed our stay a lot.)

Access to other resort towns was easy and yet it was nice to not be right on the major highways through Summit County. Home was clean and welcoming, kids loved it. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance along with the gondola and trails. The whole family enjoyed every minute of our stay and the check in check out process was very smooth.

We are guest oriented, and we offer the following when you rent with us: hassle-free check-in and keycard pick-up, a generous supply of towels and an initial supply of consumables for your stay. We are also in the resort and have the longest business hours of any management company.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
