The cottage was quiet and peaceful and the area was full of farms and a lovely area to relax and chill. Lots of cool markets in the area to visit. Had a great time.

We really enjoyed the cottage. It was very clean and everything we needed was provided. The location was great for our activities we had planned. We love the area, very beautiful and hope to return.

very small for two persons, living room sofa must be 100 years old. no closets, no ice maker, oven desperately needs cleaning. Clawfoot bath tub/makeshift shower. (recently updated??) no driveway or walkway. Dragged in grass every time! We had to take comforter to laundry for odor issue.

Charming cottage

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights for his swim meet. Nice and quiet location. House was clean and had all the things that a father and son would need. Definitely highly recommended!

Convenient location, clean, quiet cottage

Clean property with all the amenities you'd need for a few days. Location was great - very close to Lancaster and Willow Valley, as well as Weis/Giant. Thanks for a great stay!

Charming, spotless, great location!

This little house was perfect for 3 people. The house was super clean, well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Pleasant way to spend NY

Pleasant, quiet, convenient, beautiful location. Wish we stayed longer to take full advantage of the property, ie. campfire ring and outdoor porch.

Peaceful

What a great property. Owners were great at communication and very cordial hosts. We had 3 adults and it was perfect! Great place to serve as a central location for our trip to the Lancaster/Strasburg area. Highly recommend!

Great Place

Beautiful alternative to a two night hotel stay

Arrived early evening and it was a breeze to get in. We found a very clean and neat environment and wonderful Whoopi pies. The beds are great and it was wonderfully quiet and dark. The grounds are lovely. Highly recommend.

Cozy Cottage in a Great Location

Booking was a breeze. Property owners very quick to respond to questions. Adorable little cottage located close to all the Lancaster attractions. Very clean and well appointed. Quiet location as well. We loved our stay and will certainly be back. Definitely going to recommend to frienda and family when traveling to the Lancaster area.

Clean Property and a Relaxing Stay in Beautiful Amish Country!

This property was clean and well stocked with various amenities. We also appreciated having a few k-cups available prior to getting out to a store. The location is convenient and quiet. We loved hearing the clip-clop of the horses pulling the Amish buggies on Sunday morning! The nearby orchard had some of the best apple cider donuts we have ever tasted!

Last minute weekend to the Amish Mud Sales…

Adorable house, great for the 3 of us. Location was perfectly in between the two mud sales that we attend each year. We got a last minute dog sitter so we were able to book the last minute trip. The owner’s were accommodating to our late arrival (I had to work the day we left due to the last minute decision to travel). We loved the cute note, cookies, and informational book with things to do and places to go that was left to greet us. Hopefully next time we’ll have a longer stay to enjoy the area more (including the swing set). Unfortunately, it had rained very heavily, so we didn’t get to try it out, although, it was a great addition to the property. We also were slightly mortified that we checked out later than expected due to a diaper disaster w/our 2 1/2 year old (after the entire car was packed up and we were walking out we had to unpack it and change her…I guess we should just be glad it happened prior vs. on the long drive home) otherwise, all went well…thank you again for your hospitality!

Cozy Cottage

My wife, son and I were in town visiting family. The hosts are top notch with an eye for detail. The property is terrific. My son loved the playset. I loved sitting on the back deck. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal. While it is a small house, there are lots of other spaces. The front porch, the back deck, the playset area, and the fire pit area were all great in kind of spreading out when needed. The tub/shower was quirky but the water pressure was great. The beds were comfy. Overall, this was exactly what my small family needed. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Overall nice property!

We enjoyed our stay here. This is a cute little cottage, the kitchen is really nice and well stocked. The livingroom area is nice as well the couch is a bit small but the right size for the living area. This cottage is very well decorated as well. Whoever decorated this cottage very obviously loves interior design. Overall it was fairly clean, we REALLY like the sign that asks people to take their shoes off. The property overall looked kempt between outside and inside. In my opinion this cottage is great for a long weekend or a week stay. Especially if you like to make meals yourself. However, there are just a few things that I feel like could make this cottage a bit better, that are easy changes. The pillows are AWFUL. If you stay here, bring your own. Rookie mistake, but they were so thin they almost didn't make a difference. We were lucky that my daughter is still in a crib so we took the pillows from her bed which made this bearable. The second thing is even though overall it was very nicely decorated I felt it was over decorated, specifically on the dressers. I like to lay out my lotion, makeup, hair products, ect. and I felt like I didn't have the room because there were so many decorations on the dressers. Overall this is a nice cottage especially if you're trying to go into Lancaster for activities. It's quiet and relaxing overall.

Horrible experience. Host is hostile, rude, and dishonest.Upon arrival we noticed ants all over the kitchen, including on/in appliances. Notified Host & VRBO immediately. Exterminator arrived and claimed he had been at the property and sprayed for ants just two days prior. **So the ant infestation was a known issue and was not disclosed.** We did not see Host and no one was brought in to clean. We notifed Host again the following day about the ants, because they were not dead, and asked about someone cleaning. We did not feel it was our responsibility to clean up the ant-infested kitchen and all of the chemicals. We repeated this information to Host two more days. We did not use anything in the kitchen and stayed mostly out of the house because of the ants and chemical smell. By the 4th day, our daughter came to the VRBO after her surgery. We called Host. Host arrived and started shouting at, and intentionally standing over me, to intimidate me. Our daughter had to tell him to back off. He accused us of being cheats and trying to get money out of him. Host left mid-complaint. He returned about 30 minutes later with cleaning supplies. He cleaned, but left ant traps on the kitchen counters. The packages specifically say to not put in food preparation areas. Host refused to refund trip. We stayed to not waste our money and did not use the kitchen. Also, no closets, drawers are full, tub needs refinishing, and many pages torn out of guest book - probably removing bad reviews.

Girls Trip

We had a very relaxing stay at The Willow Street Cottage. The house was so cute and welcoming that we checked in on a Friday and never left the house until we checked out on Sunday. The hosts provided a lot of extras including yummy whoopie pies.
