I have and will continue to rent this property when friends and family come to visit us! I absolutely love this house and everything about it. This is the only rental in the area that I have repeatedly booked. Thanks for making your home available for all to enjoy!

Loved the Cabin, very clean! Check-in was easy and we had a great stay. Only thing we could suggest is the bath tub was slippery.

Spring vacation

Nice area but a little too far from Durango Nice property and the hot tub was a great option.

Lovely and peaceful

Perfect size and great layout of the home. It worked really well for our party! We loved the hot tub and the fire pit. We had a lovely and very peaceful time

Excellent place to stay!!

This is a wonderful, peaceful, and quiet property with everything you could possible need and it's dog friendly. The outside partially covered deck with dinning, grilling and hot tub made this place extra special. The kitchen was well appointed and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the double sinks in the bathroom were nice. The living room was comfortable with plenty of space.We truly enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Such a lovely place

This cabin truly never disappoints, the cabin, hot tub, and scenery are beautiful. Every time we've been here we start planning when we can come back, it's so relaxing and the backyard is perfect for the kids. The kitchen is spacious and well set up. The beds are incredibly comfortable. We always look forward to our trips here and will definitely be back.

This property is very well kept and clean. Communications with the host are above and beyond. There was a wild fire nearby and the host contacted us with detailed instructions to keep us safe. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. I would absolutely recommend this property.

Delighted in Durango

Love, Love,Love!! Perfect escape from the Texas heat. Cabin was beautifully appointed and had everything needed for a mountain escape. Kyle and Devin were fantastic hosts and looking forward to a return trip in October

Great place that is close to a lot of fun areas!

20 or so minutes from Durango. Minutes away from the lake. This was a great place for ourselves and our friends (total of 4). We also brought our dogs. The host was communicative and the house was great. We also really liked the outdoor space the place offered. We would stay again if we were in the area!

Dog Friendly Family Getaway

Beautiful area not far from Lake with a wonderful deck and hot tub, including a traeger smoker grill. Inside was very clean, updated, accommodating, and had a fun bear theme. Wood stove, appliances, and kitchen were very nice. 2nd queen bed in 2nd room is a nice, large self inflating air mattress. Highly recommended!

Perfect Family Spot

Our family visited here for spring break and we loved it so much we booked again right away. The pellet grill was easy to use, the hot tub was clean and maintained, backyard play set and sandbox kept the kids busy while we relaxed. The fire pit had actual benches that were nice to sit on unlike most vacation rentals that have stumps. Looking forward to our next stay! Fast internet, comfy beds, nice TVs. Easy to find, great locatio. What more can you ask for.

Cute and quiet

The property was just what we needed! I had some friends come to town and they LOVED it here. We went to Pagosa Springs, Ignacio, Durango, Silverton and Ouray so it was the perfect central location tucked back into the Valley Forest away from the hustle and bustle. I do wish it had a fence for the dog but other than that it was fabulous! Definitely recommend.

Weekend away

Relaxing stay. But thought maybe there would be more of a view. Saw a family of deer in the driveway. Beautiful area. Very clean and the lay out was good. We think maybe a bear visited in the night. Lots of scratching and a couple large paw prints in the mud. Thanks for being great hosts.

Durango getaway

We really enjoyed staying here. Back yard had privacy which was very nice. Hot tub was out of this world. Very comfortable and clean. There is a wonderful hiking trail that goes along a river for miles. Probably one of the prettiest hikes we have been on. Only 10 min away. Durango was about 30 min away. Rented a pontoon boat on Lake Vallecito which was a lot of fun too. Owners were great as far as information and response. Would stay there again for sure.

We stayed at the Bears Den Cabin over spring break, and it was truly an amazing experience for our whole family. From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully prepared and welcoming. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog along, which made the trip even more special.The cabin had absolutely everything we could have needed—fully stocked kitchen with dishes, all the bathroom essentials like shampoo, and every little utility you could think of. We especially loved starting our mornings with the Keurig coffee and creamer provided—it was such a nice touch.The hot tub and fire pit were definite highlights. We spent so much quality time together as a family enjoying those amenities. The beds were very comfortable, and overall, everything was clean, cozy, and well-maintained.The host was incredibly kind and responsive. Any questions I had were answered right away, which made the stay even more stress-free.We truly loved this place. Our kids immediately started asking when we could come back—and honestly, we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

Most of the items we expected and a few we didn't were available. Very beautiful property, peaceful and cool, which was our main desire for the trip.We would have liked there to be a table, coffee or end table in the living room, and there was a snag in the hot tub set up, but otherwise what a wonderful experience it was. Kyle and Kevin were very responsive to questions and requests, highly recommended, two thumbs up from us!

Great Vallecito Cabin

Cabin was fantastic, and very warm and cozy. Great kitchen, comfortable bed, and the hot tub was perfect. The cabin is also very dog friendly, which is a plus (no doggos for us this trip), but it was to nice see. The property owners were extremely helpful, responsive and super easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again.

A perfect cabin for a mountain getaway

The cabin was perfect! A short, quick distance to the lake, a short drive tp Durango, updated beautiful decor, a cozy hot tub to relax, a beautiful deck to enjoy beautiful nature, super comfy beds, a kitchen with everything you need, a cozy living room to have movie nights on the updated entertainment system. And the big plus, dog friendly! It was perfect. Thank you Devin and Kyle, your home is truly beautiful and my family had an amazing, memorable time!

Outstanding stay and location

My family and I stayed here toward the end of June. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Location was awesome and the place was so nice. VERY CLEAN! We will definitely be coming back.

It was better than we imagined, if your looking for a great cabin by the lake that has everything you need. This is the place it rained half the time we were there and it still was perfect!!

Our favorite spot!

Had so much fun on the first trip we booked it again right away. The shiny new hot tub and huge grassy backyard made for a perfect place to let out kids romp while we relaxed. The fireplace and treager grill made for plenty of great food and stores too. Can't wait for our next fishing trip!
