Girls Trip

We were a party of 4. Elevators at the front of property did not work. Our condo was in the front. Back elevator was hot and sketchy. Only 1 toilet worked, at one point both didnt work. Bathroom sink wouldnt drain properly. Called maintenance on arrival. Noone ever came. Balcony chairs were plastic folding chairs and the backs were broken on each chair. All mattresses need replacing. Felt like we were falling off the edge. Fantastic beach access. Pool was amazing and peaceful. Covered parking was nice.

UNIT HAD NO POWER

We arrived late on date of arrival due to a late inbound flight from Houston. Upon arrival the check in process was easy but once we went into the unit at approx 11:15pm we were frustrated to find out there was no power in our condo. I was able to contact someone who advised me they would send someone to inspect the unit. He did arrive around 30 minutes later and confirmed the power was shut off in our unit only and at midnight we had to move all of our luggage to a different unit. We lost our third-floor ocean front view and were moved to a first-floor unit instead. The maintenance worker told us it looked like the owner did not pay the power bill and we should be given some sort of compensation for such an inconvenience. We were very frustrated and exhausted to have to move to a property that was not the one we signed a contract for because the power was turned off. I would like to be contacted by the property owner to discuss the failure on their part to provide us with the accommodations we signed a contract for. I believe we should be compensated in some manner for the incredible circumstances regarding the lack of power in our unit and having to move to another property so late in the evening. It was frustrating and completely unprofessional of the property owner to not only neglect renting a unit without power, but to not reach out to us at all with an apology or any sort of discount/compensation for such a failure to provide the services we paid for.

Uncomfortable

The listing shows queen beds, but they were full size at most, and very uncomfortable and compacted in places so you practically slide off the bed. The bunks were unusable as you can feel big metal springs poking all around. The closet door is broken, the floors weren’t clean, and there are no drawers to unpack in.

To many things wrong

Closet doors in 1st bedroom off track and leaning in closet. No TP holder in main bathroom. No dressers or furniture to keep clothes in. Balcony door latch(knob) broken and in locked position. Balcony furniture all ruined and unusable. Only 1 skillet, 1 large pan, and 1 small pan for preparing meals. Would not recommend staying in this unit at this location.

Worst beds ever

I have stayed at The Victorian several times and this was by far my least favorite stay. The view is amazing and the kitchen is updated well, but everything else about this listing is completely inaccurate. There are NO QUEEN beds. The 2 rooms have cheap, uncomfortable full size beds, and the bunk beds are literally falling apart. The bunk mattresses cannot be slept on without memory foam (which I had to go and purchase) otherwise the springs are stabbing you. The pullout mattress in the lving room is just as bad as the bunk beds. The bunk bed is basically in a closet and you can hardl move. Next, the doors. It was clear that the front door had been kicked in before. The lock is equivalent to a bathroom door lock, where you push in the lock and it unlocks by turning the handle. There is no dead bolt, and some jankie hotel lock that would likely come off of the wall if pressure were applied. The back door had a dead bolt but it doesnt work nor does the other "lock" on the handle. The chairs on the patio are falling apart and unsafe to sit on. While it did not state that they have basic kitchen supplies, we were a little surprised to see there was no salt and pepper, sugar or swert and low (individually wrapped) which we have experienced in other apartments at this location. This apartment was more expensive than other units we have stayed in at this complex and I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to another person. Save your money and find a different unit

Overall dirty and horrible beds

Unit was not very clean upon arrival, sand and dirt in one of the beds, floors were still dirty. Probably the most uncomfortable beds I have ever tried to sleep in. Location is great but this unit is not worth the price unless make some improvements.

Elevators didn’t work and we were on the third floor! Room was not clean! Room was better in the pictures! Save your money and go somewhere else!

Not as described

Mattresses had springs coming though the Mattress. Listed as queen beds and got full size in the rooms. Had to buy pads to sleep 1 night on the beds. Ended stay there early and found something else. Worst beds and upkeep in any vrbo stay

Needs improvement

Don’t expect a full 3 bedroom. The room with the bunk beds is more of a closet that they shoved bunk beds into, to be able to claim a third bedroom. The overall unit is pretty small, but the cosmetic updates makes it look better. Don’t trust the elevators on the property. Window didn’t close fully, so we could constantly hear wind coming through it. Water never got super hot. Cigarette butts all over the property. Wouldn’t go back.

Great long weekend late June

Perfect sea side view. Quick walk across Sea wall drive at a controlled intersection. Walmart for shopping across the street. Beach was great. This is a young family vacation location based on the the family's we mixed with. Two pools on site, same size ,but one with walk in for kids.
