This vacation cabin rental is situated on a quiet street at the end of the cul-de-sac. Access to the lake is a walk down a gravel drive which is also navigable by a 4 wheel vehicle if the walk is to much. The cabin is located in Paradise Landing and has a beautiful view of Douglas Lake. It is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway any time of the year. The cabin has 3 1/2 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms. Perfect vacation for a single family or spacious enough for multi-family vacation. The cabin has wrap around porches and a deck off the upper level looking down the lake and a picture-perfect view of the mountains. The cabin has a very serene feeling as soon as you walk in the front door. The home has everything for a perfect Tennessee vacation. Douglas lake is a very active lake for fishing, to jet skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking or just laying on tubes or floats. A must see and a great family friendly vacation retreat!!
Service will be impeccable as owners are on-site in apartment on the property.

Family summer house

This house was very well done inside with beautiful views and a wonderful back deck overlooking the lake which was gorgeous. I thought walk down to the lake was very steep and Rocky but manageable. The dock itself was needing some repair. The lake was clear and beautiful and warm

Great lakefront getaway!

We had a great time at this house. Incredible views, lake access, and a beautiful house. Rick and Debbie were great hosts as well. It’s far enough away from the touristy areas but still easy to get into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Simply Outstanding!!

This is one of the best cabins we have rented. The cabin was impeccable, and the location was perfect. The views of the lake are beautiful and unmatched. The hosts, Debbie and Rick, were absolutely wonderful. It was easy to communicate with them, and they offered places to see and things to do when requested. Yes, they are onsite, but you wouldn't even know it. We had our privacy, and everything was just wonderful. The docks were great to fish off of and swim, and use of the kayaks were so much fun.The drive to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg wasn't bad at all. It was nice to come back and relax after doing sightseeing things. When we are back in the area, we will definitely stay here again. We loved it so much. Our kids loved it, too! Thank you Rick and Debbie!!

Whispering Pines lake house

My family and I, along with my best friend and her family had the absolute best time here. Far out enough to where we didn’t have to worry about it being busy and packed but close enough to the surrounding areas for lots of fun. The house is definitely spacious enough for 8 people with the added bonus of the wrap around porch with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. We plan on making this our summer trip now so we can utilize that awesome lake. Thank you both for having us!

Lovely home

This home was perfect for our family of 7. Plenty of room and had everything we needed. The home was beautiful and the area was peaceful. Host were onsite if we needed anything but we definitely had our privacy. We will be back!

Wonderful lake weekend holiday

We had a great experience with Rick’s lake front cabin. The location of the cabin is perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing. Our party of 8 adults spent the whole three day weekend at the cabin simply enjoying the lake.. Rick was very nice and brought us beach chairs and floating devices. We will be back!

Great lake spot and excellent hosts!

This lake front cabin was superb! The access to water was normal for waterfront in the area. The home has all you need and some awesome views. Hosts were super responsive and great to work with. I loved all of the deck space and we just had kayaks so the inlet was great for a paddle

Fabulous lake home!

Home was located on an incredibly quiet and tranquil part of the lake. Able to spend our days floating and kayaking. Home was large and had great space for our family of 8. Hosts were incredibly kind and readily available. Hope to return again in the future.

Relaxing Smokey Mnt. Getaway

We were a group of 2 families of 7 adults and a 12 year old. Plenty of room inside and out. Beautiful views all around. I loved all the decks around the house. Easy access to the lake with a private dock. We swam and floated in the lake for hours in the perfect temperature lake. We brought our 19.5 foot boat, and the owners provided 2 kayaks, one of which was a tandem. It is a walk down to the lake which is typical for Douglas Lake. We meet the hosts who are pleasant and provide us with suggestions of places to see and eat. You’ll find all the amenities you need at this house. We highly recommend and will be staying again!

Lakeside with a View

Beautiful home with a beautiful view of both the lake and mountains in the background. Located centrally on the lake with a dock for a boat, which we used and worked out well. The very friendly owners are located next door and were really helpful when asked for assistance with getting the TV setup (previous renters appeared to have changed the TV setup) and with getting our boat more securely tied down following a storm, which we were very grateful for. The house was super clean, which was a major plus for us. The only slight negative regarding this rental was the fourth bedroom didn't have a door and the description of the house didn't include that detail. Otherwise, we would definitely stay at this home again, hands down one of the best places we've ever rented.

Very nice lake house.

Very nice house, spacious with large lake view rear deck. Host Debbie was very attentive, especially when the entire area suffered from a storm related power outage. She brought us a bigger flashlight and some candles, and offered coolers of ice. For our inconvenience, which wasn’t at all her fault, she brought a fresh baked apple pie and some local jelly, honey, and apple butter. Our only issues with the place were its fairly remote location from restaurants/stores, and the lake access was steep and somewhat inconvenient. But, if you want to get away from hustle/bustle and just relax in a beautiful setting, this is a good place. Good living and bedroom spaces.

THE BEST

We had eight adults and one 2 year old. It was the perfect cabin for our family! The owners are super responsive and very helpful! Also, the cabin is in a prime location on Douglas Lake! Our family will certainly be back...

Much Needed Reset

This property was the perfect place to catch up with family. Lots of seating, beautiful lake views, and hospitable hosts. We relaxed on the dock and kayaked on the lake. The cabin has a cozy/welcoming feel and is a must stay for a family getaway!

Perfect weekend

Rick and Debbie made it so easy from the time of booking to the time we checked out. We greatly appreciated the easy communication during the stay. The house and property were so clean and stunning! Beautiful views from the deck! My family is still talking about what a great stay we had.

Very private home and homesite located at end of cul-de-sac surrounded on all sides by water. Private staircase (or walking road) down to fixed dock and stairs from dock leading into water. Front covered porch wrapping around to side deck then very private covered back porch.

Great for swimming, fishing and just pure relaxation. Pigeon Forge (Dollywood) and Gatlinburg are a little less than an hour away. Great whitewater rafting about 30 minutes away. Hiking galore in the great smoky mountains national park.
