Welcome to Pure Relaxation! Nestled on over 4 private acres in Fairview, this nearly 3100+ sq foot log cabin was built in 2020 and is the perfect place for your family and friends to get away while still enjoying all that Asheville has to offer as less than 20 minutes away! Enjoy the huge hillside deck that has 4 balcony chairs, grill and 2 propane-based fire tables that are perfect for meals and evening enjoyment!

Inside the home you'll find 4 rooms with beds - 2 K, 1 Q, 1 with 2 Full over Full bunks - 3.5 bathrooms, 2 large family rooms and and 2 kitchens - check out those beautiful blue cabinets in the main kitchen!

The home offers great amenities including a hot tub, (2) interior fireplace, an outdoor fire pit, propane based grill, foos ball table, corn hole boards, 5 SMART TVs and 60 game arcade with all of the classics like Pac Man, Frogger, Donkey Kong and many more! We hope to have you as our guest!

This was one of the best cabins we have stayed in! It is exactly as pictured, the beds were comfortable and the living room with the see through fireplace was so cozy! We loved staying here, and our dogs loved the fenced in backyard. The mornings were so peaceful having coffee on the balcony. Thanks for everything, we enjoyed the wine and s’more’s too, that was such a lovely touch!

Great family getaway

We stayed here for a work-cation. The house was perfect. Tons of room. Teens had their own rooms and baths. They also liked the video games, foosball table, and puzzles. My husband and I had enough space to work while also enjoying gorgeous mountains views. The kitchen is a legit kitchen. We cooked in it just like we were at home. The outdoor living area is very nice as well. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great house for a long weekend family getaway

The house is as advertised - spacious great room kitchen area, all the bedrooms were nice, tons of kitchen tools and equipment, clean hot tub, fenced in backyard, about 15 minutes from Highland Brewing and 20 minutes from downtown. Owners were proactive with communications too. Our family of 5 had a nice long weekend over 4th of July and would definitely rent again from Carolina Destinations.

AMAZING stay!!!

This cabin is BEAUTIFUL! It was just stunning. Everyone in the group raved about this cabin. It was so so spacious, and so clean. Mountain view from the deck. The host was so quick with responses. Their details about directions to the cabin and the rest of the check-in details are so helpful. The cabin is not too far from Downtown Asheville. We didn't have any trouble calling Ubers to the property, and our party bus also came right up the driveway to the property. This is the perfect cabin for a group! I'm sad the trip is over, and will definitely be back!!

Great spot in Fairview, NC!

This was a lovely house in a great location in Fairview, about 15 min from downtown Asheville. We came there to attend a family wedding, and this house was a highlight. The house was well stocked and equipped. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings, watching the cows in the pasture across from us. Great spot!

Family Christmas in July

We enjoyed our stay so much at Sunshine Hill. From the moment we pulled onto the long drive (it was like entering a private farm and you were a family member staying in one of the homes on the property), to seeing the house for the first time(awesome) to opening the front door and discovering the home. We were delighted and and our stay was so comfortable and peaceful.

AMAZING

Myself and my friends stayed at this property for my bachelorette weekend in Asheville. The property and cabin were absolutely stunning, truly my dream cabin. There were tons of amenities and we found some of our favorite memories of the weekend were hanging out at the cabin, in the hot tub and relaxing on the deck. The host was extremely helpful, kind and communicated with us very well. I would not hesitate to recommend this Vrbo to anyone.

Stunning Home

The sunshine house was absolutely beautiful! It was a perfect house for all of us. There was enough room for all. The house was very well maintained and provided everything you needed. Love how they had the welcome guide/resource guide when you entered the home to refer to at any point, if needed. Truly a beautiful home and I would rent again!

Perfect stay!

8 30 somethings stayed for a bachelorette weekend. The house has everything! The trip was smooth and we enjoyed spending time with a beautiful view and nice yard. The main living room space is gorgeous and it was an easy trip downtown. The property owner is super responsive.

Clean and quiet place to stay!

Our group greatly enjoyed this place as we stayed for a long weekend during Labor day. We were close to Ashville but far enough to feel away and relax. The owners were very responsive. The driveway is steep but paved so there were no issues getting up to the house. I would stay here again.

Fabulous Home for Family Vacation

We booked this property as a home base for an Asheville family vacation. My husband was turning 70 and we invited his two children and their spouses to join us. The house itself was even better than the pictures. It was bright, sunny, clean, comfortable, and well-designed for a multi-family stay. We loved that it overlooked a farm, and we could look out on the cows. We also has wild turkeys and deer around daily. I loved that the house did not have a lot of knick knacks, and did not have other people's food left there. It was well stocked with necessities, except there were no tissues, which would have been nice to have. We appreciated the s'mores gift basket, and enjoyed making them nightly! Our only major concern was the water pressure, which was absolutely non-existent. We had to shower and rinse dishes with only drips of water. Also, the hot water took a long time to work - definitely needs to be addressed. Otherwise, our stay was fantastic, and we loved the games and the hot tub. Now, food in Fairview is not great, except for breakfast at the Local Joint. Go to dinner in Asheville, and don't waste your time trying to get a great meal in Fairview. We also loved driving to and seeing the Biltmore, Lake Lure, white water rafting in Marshall, horseback riding at Cedar Creek Stables, goat yoga at Round Mountain Creamery, and picnicking and wine tasting Souther Williams Vineyard. We would book this home again if the water pressure is improved!

Family mountain getaway

We had a wonderful time at ‘Sunshine Hill’. The cabin is beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable, well-stocked, & it was just perfect for our family of eight. We would certainly return and plan to use the property manager for another vacation rental. Thank you for the experience!

Bachelor Weekend

This cabin was nothing short of 5 stars for me and my friends for my bachelor weekend. The weather was all over the place and having the fire pit and hot tub came in handy. Did it require a little more effort to get a Lyft/Uber, yes, but just explaining how to get to the house is all it takes. We had no issues once we explained to the drivers what to do, so getting to/from Asheville was not an issue. I am already trying to convince my friends to re-book this place again for the summer/fall!

Amazing place

It was beautiful! Great location, incredibly clean, beautiful views, the host even left us snacks and wine as a welcome gift. We loved the hot tub. 20 min to Asheville and 20 min to the airport. I absolutely would stay again!!

Great stay!

I booked this stay for my husband’s 40th birthday to celebrate with 3 other couples. This property checked every box - I appreciated the attention to detail, amenities, and additional features that were offered with the house itself. Very easy commute to local breweries and downtown Asheville. I would absolutely come back with friends, but I’m especially excited to bring our kiddos back for a nice family vacation :)

Perfect for large groups!

I stayed here with a group of 12 to celebrate a bachelorette trip. The house is really new and well equipped with everything we needed during our stay! Our host, Drew was very accommodating and responsive. The location was only 20 minutes away from downtown. 10/10 could not recommend more.

ashville getaway

We looked the open feel and amenities. Deer came wandering through and seemed accustomed to the attention. We cooked and appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the goodies basket was a very nice touch. Would recommend...Driveway might be challenging with ice ;-)

Beautiful home

One of the nicest rentals I’ve stayed in. Home was spacious, clean and comfortable. The vintage video game table and foosball made the rainy day more enjoyable. Loved spending time by the fire pit making the s’mores that were provided and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Views were amazing! Proximity to Asheville was fairly easy and there were a lot of restaurants nearby that we discovered that were great. We were nervous about the driveway from the other reviews. It was long, skinny, windy and steep. All of that is true. But we were able to navigate it throughout the long weekend without any issues. It’s totally driveable, it just gets your heart pumping a little if you’re afraid of heights like I am. We will definitely stay here again!
