Vista Lago is tucked away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona – a lake destination in the Sonoran Desert where miles of coastline meet the Mohave Mountains. Known as Arizona’s “West Coast,” we are 2 ½ hours from Las Vegas, 3 hours from Phoenix, and 4-5 hours from the San Diego and Los Angeles areas.

Here in Lake Havasu City, we are centrally located in the Residential Estates community – near everything you’ll want to experience. Head a few miles north to the Bridgewater Channel for calm waters, sandy beaches, volleyball courts and waterfront eateries. You can also marvel at the historic London Bridge which was built in London in the 1830s. Pro tip: Make time for Windsor Beach, just a few minutes away, which is one of the prettiest beaches in Arizona.

Out on the lake, enjoy boating, bass fishing, wakeboarding, jet skiing and more. Our house is also close to Lake Havasu Marina and the new Havasu Riviera Marina where you can rent boat slips. Back on land, choose among nearby hiking, mountain biking and off-roading adventures. Some of our favorites include the “Crack in the Mountain” hike in SARA Park (it has a family-friendly slot canyon and bighorn sheep) and guided ATV rides through the open desert.

And for fun meals out, we like The Red Onion for hand-crafted sandwiches and onion petals; Barley Brothers for wood-fired pizzas and microbrews on tap; and the waterfront Shugrue’s with artichoke crab dip and steak and lobster entrées.

RESORT-STYLE BACKYARD
Our backyard is the heart of our home where you can let go and live your best Arizona life.

Bask in the sun as you relax on chaise loungers and swim in our custom-built pool. Striped umbrellas offer shade while lounge chairs in the water are a cool way to get a desert glow. You can also eat lunch poolside – literally! – on underwater bar stools by the ledge.

Over to the left, fire up the stainless steel BBQ grill for a family cookout. You can also get games of cornhole and PutterBall going on the artificial turf. And when it’s time for dinner, eat al fresco on our shaded patio that is a vacation dream – hanging basket lights, faux olive trees and a grand wood table for 12 included.

Good vibes continue once night falls, as the swimming pool is illuminated and uplighting casts a glow over the yard. Gather on our sectional sofa which seats 12, and cozy up to the fire pit on cooler nights. No stay at Vista Lago is complete without a soak in our 12-person hot tub, as the desert sky twinkles around you.

GREAT ROOM
The great room becomes one with the backyard as our 16-foot glass door fully slides into the wall. Hang out on the oversized sectional sofa and ivory boucle swivel chairs, all set against a postcard view of the patio and yard. The ambience here is peaceful, with neutral hues, wooden floating shelves and an accented fireplace that looks like something from a spa resort. This is the place to come together for a movie night, or the big sports game. You can also get out Yahtzee and Monopoly for evening games around the coffee table.

GOURMET KITCHEN
Once you see our modern kitchen, you may never want to leave. It’s a home chef’s dream with more counter space than you’ve ever seen. And a massive center island that doubles as a dining table. Ten people can sit here, beneath glass globe pendant lights that look like art pieces. Eating meals here always leads to great conversation. And with our stovetop at one end of the island, even the cook can hang out as dinner is being made. Other kitchen features include: Molasses-colored cabinets with brass pulls, a wine rack and elegant counter stools. There’s also a double wall oven and stainless steel appliances. And to start your morning right, we provide coffee and K-Cup pods for you.

5 BEDROOMS
Our five bedrooms are spacious retreats that make you feel at home. Three bedrooms are located in the right wing of the house, just off the great room. And the primary suite takes up the left wing. Our fifth room is located in the separate casita next to the house.

Unwind among modern furnishings, rich textures, and black-and-white color palettes with subtle pops of color. Our rooms have luxury beds and design pieces including bedside tables and lamps, mirrors, artwork, and woven and leather benches. There’s even a bunk bed room for the kids. And all rooms come with sleek black fans, dimmable recessed lighting and windows or sliding glass doors that bring in natural light.

4 BATHROOMS
Four bathrooms are spacious and full of beautiful design touches – just like the rest of the house. You’ll find striking black vanities (three are doubles), matte black and brass fixtures, Persian-style rugs and oversized showers with mosaic tile. The primary and secondary suites have en suite bathrooms while a hallway bathroom in the right wing has a soaking tub for “me” time or bath time with the kids. There is also a bathroom in the casita.

And to make your stay even more comfortable, we provide these toiletries for each bathroom in a lavender-peppermint scent: Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body bar soap, lotion and hand/facial soap.

CASITA
The casita is a private hideaway perched above our garage that comes with your stay. Sip cocktails on the deck as neon sunsets blaze across the desert sky. And take in awe-inspiring views of the lake and mountains – they may just be the best in Lake Havasu.

Inside, a luxury experience awaits across an open-concept living room, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. Carefully chosen pieces like jute ottoman poufs, wooden upholstered chairs and a cream daybed put you in instant vacation mode. And walls of windows and sliding glass doors show off the panoramic view. In addition to a comfy king bed, the casita also has a pull-out queen sofa bed.

You have private access to Vista Lago, the casita and all amenities during your stay. For your privacy, our backyard is fully enclosed. You can access Vista Lago any time with our secure, keyless entry.

WELCOME GUIDEBOOK
You will receive a digital welcome guidebook once you book that contains all the house information you will need. We also include recommendations for food, drinks and activities.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in is after 4:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am.

PARKING
Our driveway can comfortably fit up to six cars. On the left side of the house, you’ll find gravel parking for RVs (with full hookups) and multiple boats. All vehicles must park on our premises.

SWIMMING POOL
Children must be monitored in and near our pool at all times. And young children must wear swim diapers. No diving is allowed, and please don’t touch the pool equipment. You are welcome to heat the swimming pool for an additional $150 per night(Oct-April). Please let us know in advance if you’d like to do so.

HOT TUB
As our hot tub doesn’t have an on-site control panel, please let us know in advance of your stay which days and times you’d like to heat it. And if you’d like to make adjustments while at the house, just let us know.

QUIET HOURS
Thank you for observing quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. This ensures the peace of the neighborhood and our standing as courteous neighbors.

SMOKING
To keep Vista Lago fresh and clean for all, smoking is not permitted inside the house. If smoke is detected, a $600 fee will be applied to your reservation. You can, however, smoke in our uncovered backyard space.

STEREO- Small bluetooth portable speakers are allowed. DJ Equipment, large boom boxes or large amplified stereo devices are prohibited on the property.

CAMERAS- For your safety and ours, cameras are located on the exterior of the home at the pool equipment, trash cans, driveway, doorbell, and rear south corner facing gate and backyard property line.
