Great location

We had a great stay at the Beach Retreat! We loved the close beach access, the views of the ocean from our room, and the pool! All of these things and being able to travel with our dogs! We will be back again!

Great Location!

We spent two weeks here. Wonderful property with unobstructed view of the ocean. Owners are quick to respond to email with questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay

Pros: Had a wonderful relaxing stay...weather was great, close to lots of activites and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Cons: sliding glass door was hard to open and close and when checking in don't forget to add # before the number code to get into door...also list in paperwork that there is a puncher/ remote gor the main gate in room

Fabulous condo on the ocean

Condo was clean and nicely appointed. Art work was cool and artist pleasantly surprised us. Decor brave (white slip covers) yet clean. Can’t beat the view!

Beach Retreat = Beach Repeat

What a wonderful trip. This 3rd floor, pet friendly unit is right in the middle of the beach-facing complex. Nothing blocks your view of Destin's sugar-sand beaches. The unit is well appointed and quiet. The grounds are well maintained and secure since you need a pass code to get your car or yourself onto the grounds. Our little Shi Tzu loved looking through the balcony rail in the mornings as we had our coffee. An easy walk takes you to two of the famous fish restaurants on this stretch of Scenic 98. And who doesn't love relaxing on the beach under your complimentary beach umbrella? (Remember having to haul all that stuff yourself?) So, if you want a beautiful beach, a great view and wonderful accommodations and service, Beach Retreat 307 should be in your future.

Excellent Condo

This is an excellent condo. Very clean and reflective of the property description. Appropriately equipment and ideally situated close to restaurants, shopping and the beach just across the street. It is a property I would happily return to enjoy.

Great location

Great location and views of the sunrise and sunset. Nicely decorated and clean appliances. Could use a deep clean like high dusting in the shower, doors and cabinets need wiped dow, dust bunnies and trash under the furniture, and could use a new shower head in bunk room bathroom. We had to clean all the cabinet fronts and handles before use because dirty, germs, and grime -Covid cases still rising. Pool and hot tub were a plus. So happy to be able to bring our four legged fur baby along and plenty of places to walk. There was a lovely boardwalk or a bike path to walk on. Gated community made it feel safe and we did not worry about our car. We would return again to this condo. More expensive than most in the area but the view was worth every penny!!

Love this complex, unit needs a good cleaning

We love Beach Retreat. We have stayed at this complex several times and have rented from this owner before. This unit needs a good cleaning and maybe some updating. I think the previous renter had a large dog. We found lots of dog hair and the living room had a urine smell. The rug may need to be replaced. We would rent from this owner again, but not this unit unless it gets updated.

Great Place to stay

we have stayed at this condo 2 times now and it is awesome. Great views of the beach, great beach service with chairs and umbrella. Easy to check in and out. Great location.

Beach Retreat

The condo was nicely located and close to everything. The bike path was great to take long walks which is located right in front of the condo complex. The views were to die for. It was really nice to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by while listening to the ocean. And the sunsets were gorgeous.

Good Unit with Great Ocean Views

We enjoyed our stay and found the rental unit to be as advertised. The location is great, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and shops. The best feature is the unobstructed ocean view! This building is located across the street from the beach, but is in one of the rare locations with no oceanfront buildings. It is very nice to have easy access to the beach, and in a less crowded area. The unit has a good layout with a nice king bed and bath. The second bedroom is very small (more of a large closet with bunk beds). Living room is open and bright and opens to a balcony facing the ocean. The downside to a pet friendly rental unit with white furniture is that it shows a lot of stains on the living room furniture. The downside to a beachfront condo is the sea spray causes corrosion on the exterior doors, making the sliding glass door hard to open (but still functional). The unit was moderately clean, but we had hoped for a more thorough cleaning due to the pandemic. I mentioned this to the agency and they responded quickly with an offer to send the cleaning crew back out. Finally, a note about COVID and Florida: there is very little attention to CDC guidelines, mask use, and social distancing in the panhandle. If you are cautious about the pandemic, Florida is not a good place to vacation at this time. However, we were able to find plenty of outdoor seating and restaurants and focus on outdoor activities like bike riding and sitting on the beach.

Wonderful remote work option for a week

This was a great rental option that provided just what I was looking for - a comfortable and cute beach side condo with wonderful views that would allow a new setting for my temporary remote work situation. This rental was as advertised and offers an ideal setting and relaxing change of scenery. The condo is better supplied than average, but could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival and it’s probably time to replace the couch’s slipcovers. On a positive note, the owner was responsive to my feedback that housekeeping didn’t do a great job to clean up the previous renter’s dog hair. We declined the offer to have housekeeping come back out and simply vacuumed up all the housekeeper somehow missed. Be aware there are three different codes you have to keep up with to access the gate, front door and beach - which was a lot to remember over the week but I’m not sure can be avoided. Turns out there is a remote gate clicker to access the property when you’re driving in, which I didn’t know until i saw it in a drawer on day five. It would’ve been helpful to know that existed instead of having to get out of my car to punch in a code every time I drove onto the property for more than half of the week. Lol. Great rental and wonderful location though and I definitely do recommend it and would rent again!

This condo is beautiful and the location is prefect. You are only steps away from the beach or you can enjoy the ocean views right from your deck. All of the amenities are upscale and top quality. The best part was being able to bring my little dog with me. She had an absolutely fantastic time.

Not terrible not great.

Pool and beach beautiful. Our unit could have been cleaner. White furniture is dirty and even had a blood stain on it. Floors had some cruddy areas as did the baseboards. Coffee pot was hit cleaned and had coffee grinds all over. Patio furniture was not comfortable and there were drink spills on the patio floor.

Perfect for Pets

First vacation to the beach for our fur baby Zoey, Great neighborhood, slight issue with code for door on check in , which was resolved quickly. The floors seemed sticky in a few areas..Overall condo was great with beautiful view..does need a bit more cook ware for long stays when a bit more cooking may take place. Will definitely like to come back

Great place to stay! Super easy rental process!

I loved this condo, we brought our toddler and carrying everything you need for a little child can be cumbersome. We were please immediately with carts to help you bring your belongings up at a check in, then pleased with how easy and accommodating the beach set up was. The location is perfect and we loved the community. I was a little confused with the pictures of the property, I thought there were more rooms that listed because there were the before and after pictures of the remodel but, we made it work and still had plenty of room:)

The beach is beautiful

Mostly good. King size bed was very comfortable. No kitchen garbage bags so had to go and buy some. Sliding glass door extremely hard to open. Needs a handle on the outside and some greasing on the bottom. Otherwise everything good. Walls are thick so you don't hear the neighbors.
