We rented this condo because we needed a place for our family of five. It was perfect. We loved the easy beach access and the pool that was right next to the condo. Parking was a breeze and guaranteed so when we wanted to go out to dinner, we didn’t have to worry about having a spot when we got back. Sugar Sands was really communicative and easy to get ahold of. We will 10/10 use them again.

Walking Distance to the Beach

The property was very close to the beach and places to eat which was a bonus. They provided two complimentary chairs and an umbrella which was the main reason we booked this place. The only thing was that it's not as clean as it could be. The fans were very dusty, the bathroom had some mold and the bed was very stiff. Other than that, the location met our requirements.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Up on first entering the condo we noticed it was very clean. We enjoyed every minute! Perfect for a relaxing vacation. If you needed something quick like ice or a Coke it was a very short walk to the convenience store next door. In the condo is a small closet equipped with boogie boards, and sand toys if you forgot those items. The rental comes with 2 chairs and an umbrella from about 8am until about 6 pm (that was so helpful, less to tote to the beach). Walking to the beach was easy even with a cooler, bag, and a child (just across the parking lot). My grandson enjoyed the pool. If you’re looking for tourists adventures Destin is a short drive away, and the stay comes with a complimentary ticket to many events. We did a dolphin tour and it saved us the price of an adult ticket. My only suggestion is bring extra blankets for lounging. After a long day at the beach and a shower we wanted to cuddle up in a soft blanket. Last but definitely not least, Beverly was amazing! Very helpful with anything you need. We had a great stay!!

Nice small condo

We have stayed in this building before. Its a great spot steps from the beach. The building and pool are clean. The condo is in great shape. The A/C stopped working one night and they fixed it fast. Overall a great condo with great service!

It has everything you need for your stay, including kitchenware. The location is not ON the beach but very close! The beach in this area was much less crowded than other beaches. The pool was very nice and clean and there's a hose to rinse the sand off in the pool area. Tom Thumb next door was very convenient for snacks and other little items you may need.

We were very happy with our stay overall. The listing was accurate. Beach access was right across the road. Kitchen was nice except it could use a cutting board and really could use some new pillows they were quite flat. We would stay again.

Clean & Comfortable

Tropical Isle 103. Small but good layout for 2 Adults (58 & 68) and 2 Teenagers (13 & 15). 13 yo slept on pull out couch - stated it was comfortable. Bedroom had king bed and twin bed. Pop 68 slept on twin bed because of C-Pap machine that needed a closer plug. Stated it was okay but he says that about every bed that isn't ours at home. Nana and 15 yo slept in king bed without any issues. Bathroom - one - Shower has the BEST water pressure and HOT water. 6 white towels - 3 white wash clothes, and 2 green wash clothes. (Washers and dryers available in a clean laundry room in a separate wash room around the corner of the building near the pool - takes credit cards only). Two bars of soap available. 2 rolls of toilet tissue. Closet in bedroom has broom, vacuum cleaner, extra kitchen chair and clothes hangers. Extra pillows/blankets. Hair dryer in dresser in bedroom, if needed. Two night stands with drawers. Clock. Kitchen has 1 hand towel, 1 dish cloth, regular coffee pot, toaster, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 packs of dishwasher soap and heavy duty hot pads for use with the oven. Table with 3 chairs but if you need to extend the leaf - the 4th chair is in closet. 2 bar stools. Kitchen stocked well with pots, pans, silverware, etc. The only thing that we found lacking was the kitchen scissors are dull. Overall, our stay was pleasant. Our family would stay again.

It was ok. Close to beach. Dishes still in dishwasher and not sure if they were cleaned of not. Everything else seemed cleaned.

Exactly what we were looking for. Very short walk to beach, used Uber to go to restaurants, comfortable space, well stocked w essentials, communication w manager for questions had immediate response and very friendly, quiet area (April visit).
