This cozy 3 bedroom, 1 bath A-Frame cottage is everything you need and in close access to everything that Silver Lake and the sand dunes has to offer.

Steps away from Silver Lake State Park Pedestrian Dune enterance. Public access to Silver Lake across the road to launch kayaks, and public boat launch access just down the road. Enterance to ATV dunes is around the corner, 1/2 mile away. Chicken Shack, Craigs Cruisers, ice cream, and souvenirs are a quick and easy 1 mile walk or bike ride.

It was great. Affordable, very close to the walking and orv entrances to the dunes. Walking distance to the Silver Lake dunes beach. Great backyard for fires at night. Kids liked having the upstairs to themselves. Had everything we needed.

Great location

The house was well stocked and a great location. We could easily walk to the beach and the beds were comfortable. The host was great with communication and did a great job.

Wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect! It had everything we needed and more. Great communication with the owner who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay! Will highly recommend to all!

If you have stayed at any other nice VRBO locations, you will not be that impressed with this one. You are paying for the location- which is excellent- very close proximity to dunes. Just OK. Not very secure, easy to get into garage door. No sheets for beds, no dryer. Very damp inside.

Wonderful place!

The only negative thing I can say is that the ad short changed this property. There are so many more amenities than what is listed. Location was perfect. House was clean and comfortable but not fancy. (This is a good thing in out eyes.) I would 1000% recommend this property to family and friends. And the owner was fabulous to work with. Probably our smoothest VRBO rental to date.

Great location!

House is in a great location and worked well for our family. Very close to the dunes. Lots of amenities were included- everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom, beds were comfortable, etc. Only issues - the stairs are very old and not super stable, I was a bit worried about my kids if they had to come down in the night. Also, the front door was hard to open/close and the doorknob broke, but I was told that was being fixed so probably not an issue in the future. Overall, very minor issues and the house worked out well for our family. I do recommend it.

Cute little place

Nicole was so incredibly easy to communicate with and has a genuine interest in her guests enjoying their stay! She’s been working hard to get the house guest ready and it shows! We had a small trailer and had space to park it and our truck. The location of the house was perfect to take advantage of the area and bikes are an easy and fun way to get around. The house for us well (just me and the hubby), was clean, and we loved sitting on the back deck at nite to enjoy the stars. While we didn’t have kids to test it out, I have no doubt that little ones would enjoy the staircase and bunks upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked, even had a small cooler and come coozies and the grill cooked our brats perfectly! We had a great trip!

Great location to the dunes

No question the location was perfect. We walked to the dunes and hiked around, went to the beach, and watched the dune buggy’s. This was all walkable. We did the sand sledding and sand boarding which was really fun, the access right by this property is where you would go to do things on foot in the dunes. The grill was great, I used it several times. There was firewood for the fire pit. I didn’t use the washer bc we didn’t have laundry soap but there was soap for the kitchen and bathroom. Loved the huge beach towels and that they had chairs and the cooler. Definitely used that! Thank you for the wonderful memories :)

Labor Day Weekend

This was the best ever stay for our kayaking, jeep and quad riding weekend. Location was excellent to all things dunes, water, town etc. We will be back again and again. Excellent communication with Nicole.

Silver Lake is such a beautiful and unique area of Michigan. Dunes, water, beaches, lighthouses, and more water, what's not to love. There is something for everyone. I always loved the visits to the dunes and beaches in the area, so I am excited to give your family the chance to explore and enjoy this piece of paradise too.

The Awesome A-Frame at Silver Lake is in a fantastic location! Walk to the pedestrian dunes, launch a kayak across the road, walk or bike into town, and only 1/2 mile to the ATV enterance. And a quiet and peaceful slice of backyard to unwind at the end of the day.
