The Blue Pelican is an open concept, pet-friendly, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that sleeps 10 comfortably. Newly updated, cozy living area, fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious dining area with two tables make this the perfect home for multiple families or a group of friends. The outdoor features of this home include a private pool in a private yard, charcoal grill, outdoor shower and plenty of room for outdoor games. The Blue Pelican is located in the middle of everything Port Aransas has to offer and walking distance to restaurants, shops and much more! Come stay and see everything The Blue Pelican has to offer!

Things to know:

Wi-Fi- We provide WIFI to enhance your stay and keep you connected. While Port A is typically reliable, you may experience occasional outages beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.
Private Pool- Pools are serviced weekly, upwards of twice per week during the summertime. Services may be performed while occupied
Pet-Friendly ($95/pet, max 2)
Outdoor Shower
Charcoal Grill-Please bring charcoal
Drip and Keurig Coffee Maker-Please bring coffee, filters/K-cups.
Washer/Dryer-Laundry detergent not provided.
Beach Towels not provided.
Property comes with a starter pack of toiletries, any supplies beyond this are up to the guest to replenish.
Beach Gear Credit- With a 2-night minimum stay - details will come via email from Vayk Gear. Ordering must be done online at least 48 hours prior to your arrival
Parking for 2 vehicles. A golf cart rental will use a space.
Must be 25 years of old to book, ID Required.
Life in Paradise rental agreement required upon booking.

Good place for a weekend getaway

The kitchen layout makes no sense, but it works for a short stay. Pool was a nice surprise, but the construction made the rest of the backyard unusable. The bedrooms and living room was really nice.

Cozy House

The house was cute and clean. 2 complaints. The showers need some updating, serious pre fab vibes. The mattresses on the king and queen beds where so stiff, no comfort, no sleep. I'd love to stay here again, but those mattresses where bad. It's in a great spot!

Great location but in desperate need of updating!

This is a great location and super cute house. In need of updating though. And I don't mean updating for aesthetic purposes. There are some serious safety issues. The floor in the room to go to the pool is covered with Duct tape and there is another soft spot right next to it that is going to be a hole real quick. The floor pan in the shared shower is not secure and moves with you when you step. The floor in the restroom in the King room needs to be redone. The shower is tilting forward off the wall, the shower does not drain properly (which may be why the floor is soft) the toilet is not secure and the entire floor is soft and not secure. ASIDE from those things, this was a great place. Easily sleeps 10, has all the pots, pans, cutlery, plates and bowls you would need, close to everything and priced appropriately. You may want to bring some extra blankets but it’s a great place to have fun!

Great Location - But needs R E P A I R S!!.

The property was in a great location - close to everything! It had Hot Water and Pretty Decor **BUT** needs R E P A I R S and better Bedding! The bedding for all beds was like carboard, the sheets were very rough. The Pillows WERE AWFUL! They were maybe an inch thick in total but when you laid on the ONE you were provided your head sat on the mattress. When we arrived, the Thermostat was reading 91 degrees. We checked the AC, and it was Frozen over, and the Drain pan was full of water. When we called the manager, they were quick to stop by and then send a tech out to service the system - however the house never cooled below 74 the entire 3 days we rented. During the day it remained about 78-80... Yes, it was 89 degrees outside, but the ac system never could keep up to cool the house. When we arrived, we did not get the access code we should’ve gotten at 4pm per the manager notes. When we called in, we finally got the text message 12 times all at once to my phone. The manager does not respond through the VRBO App or through Direct Text. You must Call them to get a response. The Toilet in between 2 rooms got stuck constantly- so we kept the lid off the tank and showed our kids how to push the flapper down. The Guest Shower (in between 2 rooms) - the backer board was installed upside down so all soap and shampoo would slide off the holders due to incorrect install - so everything must stay in the shower floor, the faucet also had a very cheap repair (SEE PHOTOS). The Dishwasher can’t open but maybe 50% of the way b/c the cabinet in front of it is too close. So, if using the dishwasher, you must use the top rack. The Kitchen cabinet had NO ROOM for pantry items. During our trip our groceries had to be placed all over the dining room table (every cabinet is stuffed full of plates, dishes, pots, and pans…) The Master bedroom exterior door needs weather stripping. The gap between the door was enough for our toddler to stick his fingers in… All the AC blew right out of that room. The property was clean and again was close to everything you needed but the property needs some TLC, and the bedding really needs to be upgraded. The Pillows and Sheets were terrible. When we visit Port Aransas again, we will choose another property, this property had too many faults to make up for the nice location.
