Peaceful comfortable house with swimming pool - desert mountains view

I give my guests space but am available when needed
I am usually sailing 9 months per year in the South Pacific; when I am in PHX I will be staying in a separate casita on the property but my daughter lives nearby in PHX and is readily available.

As suggested by Vrbo for long term stays (over 1 month) we will provide you as per AZ law a lease covering the period & conditions of your stay.

IMPORTANT - LET'S ADDRESS THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM; We get several inquiries per week and most of them invariably come with a variation of trying to bypass Vrbo. We will absolutely NOT consider this. Not because I want to suck up to Vrbo but, amongst others, my chief reasons are: A) I strongly believe if you use somebodies service/knowhow you have to pay for it and not try to weasel out; B) Vrbo provides us with a USD1M insurance protecting me and the property.

FINALLY - In rare situations will we consider adjusting the minimum stay period but as far as a lower nightly price (never in the AZ HIGH season: Oct - Apr) if you really feel that USD325 per night is too high for 8 rooms, 4 car garage, 4 fire places; 2 patios - 1 with outdoor kitchen & grill, private pool with Spa with quality (top of the line) furniture & equipment located on a very private property then I don't think you are the type of guest(s) we are looking for.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING: on other areas of the property we have several full (50 & 30 Amps, water, sewer etc.) RV hook ups; none of these are included in this listing and none of them are utilized but each of these hook ups can accommodate a high powered 50 or 30 Amp hook up for electric vehicles.

For rentals 21 nights and longer we will provide, free of charge, twice a month (roughly every 2 weeks) a complete house cleaning during your stay. This lady is available for additional cleanings for USD225 per cleaning. This does NOT include the deep "move out" cleaning.

The pool is too cold to swim from middle of October thru middle of May; according to my Pool Service people virtually no pools in this area have a heating system. I installed an oversized heating system but it still takes 3 days to heat this giant diving pool and therefore I don't heat during the winter. Some guests have requested heating the pool and paid the additional energy costs - we will charge $30/24 hours. The Spa heats up in 30 plus minutes and normal use is included in the rental price.

We do allow pets however this MUST be mentioned in your application. If you do not mention we assume there are no pet(s) and will issue a lease which will specify that no pets are allowed during your stay. In case of pet(s): we will ask you for a separate (additional) pet cleaning fee $150/pet as well as a separate pet deposit.
