This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, called Flip Flop Inn, is your home away from home. The house is only 1 block from the beach and sleeps a maximum of 8. There is 1 queen in the master bedroom on the ground level. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms + 1 bathroom are on the 2nd level. There is 1 queen in the 2nd bedroom & 1 full with twin bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom. This house is pet friendly (dogs only) with a $200.00 Non-Refundable Pet Fee!

This house is located in the quiet Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach. The Flip Flop Inn is conveniently located to several restaurants, shops, beach bars, attractions & more. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, including refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and everything you need to make a meal. Wanna grill out? No problem, there is a BBQ grill and picnic table too. There are TV's in all 3 bedrooms as well as the living room, free Wi-Fi, parking for 2 vehicles, and a full sized washer & dryer. The beach is is only 400 ft away and the Flip Flop Inn features an enclosed outdoor shower with hot & cold water and a foot wash to minimize bringing sand inside.

Great house!

The house was perfect and such a quick walk to the beach! Not the best if you’re looking to be close to shops and restaurants, you have to drive. But if you are looking to relax, the location is great!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Parking was not easy with several vehicles and the palm tree at the front of the driveway needs to be cut back to help avoid scratching vehicles.

Great time!

Had a great time! House very nice, A bit loud first 2 nights as there were college kids in nearby house setting off fireworks and playing loud music, but they were told to leave and all was great after that.

We had trouble with this place from the get go!! First, the fridge would not cool. After an attempt by a maintenance person to fix it to no avail, another person brought us a small "fridge" which turned out to be a freezer!! It ruined much of the food we put in it!! Finally, a true technician came and solved the problem by adjusting the food bins in the fridge. The ice maker and water dispenser were beyond a quick fix. They need major repair. Plus the water filter was out of date!! North Beach Realty did send us two bags of ice eventually.The bunk bed rail upstairs was bent so that our granddaughter did not feel safe sleeping in it. The double bed in that same room had one slat out of six that was in its proper place, so that only one person could sleep in it comfortably. These were repaired on day three I believe.Next, I tried to bake some pork ribs in the oven. I set the temp for 300 degrees for a slow cook. I came back two hours later to check them, and the oven had cooled to a little above room temperature, and the ribs were room temperature. Maintenance came to address the problem. In the meantime I had cooked that set of ribs on the grill. So, I put another load of ribs in this time, waited 2 hours, and got the same result; room temp ribs!!!!! So I finally finished baking/cooking those ribs on the grill at 9 pm that night. I started this process at 1230 that day!!! My family were afraid to eat the ribs because they had sat so long!! Frustrated!

Flip Flop

Check in was very easy. Called ahead before check in and the house was ready so we were able to check in earlier. House was clean and roomy enough for our family. Recliners need to be changed out. Kitchen supplies were adequate. Towels supplied were clean as were the bed clothes. The area under the house was a good storage space for all the fishing supplies but we did get heavy down pours and it did get flooded. In fact, the properties in that area all were flooded but it did not take long for the water to disappear once it stopped raining. It was a very nice house and we loved the location!

Beautiful Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home ans spacious. Far away from the hustle and bustle of Cherry Grove downtown. That can be a positive or a negative depending on how you view convenience, walking vs golf cart. A golf cart is needed for this location. No remote for bedroom TV, had to hard reset the fridge myself, not cooling. Glass storm door shock and handle broken upon arrival. No yard for dogs, inches away from neighboring homes.

Vacation

It was nice but had some issues- the refridgerator filter kept dinging because it needed replaced , the rocking chair under the deck was broken and we couldn’t use it and the picnic table bench was broken and not safe to sit on - also some of the pans to cook in were scratched and we couldn’t cook good in some of them because the food stuck to the pans/ liked the privacy and the neighbors were great !

Across the street from the Beach -easy walk!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Flip Flop for 4 days and it was a good location for us. We were close enough to the beach to make access easy and the house was clean. We did not cook at the house as we were visiting relatives who live in Myrtle Beach, but cooking utensils and cookware was minimal. We did have plenty of plates/silverware/coffee mugs and glasses. There were only 4 adults who stayed here, but there was plenty of room for additional people. If visiting the area again, we would definitely look to book this location.
