The condo was beautiful and everyone was comfortable! The view from the balcony was awesome - the perfect spot for watching the sunrise. I would recommend this location to everyone! The host responded promptly to our texts.

Very nice and accommodating for a group of 10 adults and kids. Great location, relative to everything. Pricey, but we love PGS, particularly for the great parking deck. Kids like the pool and slide. Probably our 5th stay here.

Lovely condo which was clean and just the right size for all of us (5 adults and 3 children ages 5 and under). Their favorite part of the condo was the balcony. There is a beautiful beach only a short walk across the dunes on a boardwalk and two pools with zero entries at the condo. The water slide at one of the pools was a favorite with both the kids and adults. Hope to come next year!

Overall this is a great property. Right on the beach, big pool and spacious condo. The condo did appear clean but when we walked barefoot in the condo our feet turned black. The tub in the master bathroom wouldn’t get hot or warm, only cold water. Other than that we had zero issues. Everything was as listed. The staff of the condo was caught taking pictures of the kids in our group. I asked him about it and the security guard they said it was due to issues they had earlier which was unrelated to our group. The guy that took the pics wouldn’t even talk to me. Very odd for an older man to be taking pics on his personal device of minors, especially when there are security cameras all around. If there was an issue the security cameras could be watched. This was directly related to our room or owners but something to watch for when on the condo grounds.

Gulf Shores 2025

We had an amazing stay, condo was very clean and had plenty of room for our family and friends. Very nice area with beautiful beach views. Definitely recommend staying here 10/10

A Wonderful Stay

The property was nice and clean as well as the room. The room was spacious enough for 4 families with 7 adults and 5 children under the age of 8. We had a wonderful time especially with the lazy river and water slide.

Convenient Condo

Loved the 3rd floor location with easy access to parking. Well equipped kitchen, great bedroom & bathroom layout. Overall perfect condo for a large group with beautiful end unit views, would book again.

Family Vacation

Our family really enjoyed staying at this property. It had a great set up and everything was clean. We were very happy with the location being so close to the beach and also having access to a pool. We had a few minor problems which were solved immediately. Overall, we would recommend this property and would stay again.

The views were amazing and the location was great. However, the mattress on the king size bed left a lot to be desired. Any movement by one person would wake up their partner. Also, the chairs at the table need felt pads. And the batteries in all the remotes were low and did not work well. The place was clean and stocked with essentials.

Pros: Condo was mostly clean. Plenty of space, comfy beds, very well-stocked kitchen with lots of dishes/cups, too. Loved the pantry space. Ample living room seating! Great view from the balcony. Interior was very well-maintained! Decor was beachy, but not cheesy - light, simple, and clean. Condominium maintenance crews (very friendly!) were constantly cleaning shared spaces (pools, halls, elevators, grills, boardwalk). All the elevators worked, were quick, and super clean! We saw security check for armbands at the pool, which was nice! Kids loved the water slide. Parking was convenient. We always found spots near our floor (plenty of carts available, too!).Cons: Probably more of a cleaning service issue than an owner/unit issue, but there were a lot of “missed” spots (an unclean toilet, an icky shower, but overall it was pretty clean for what we are sure was a quick turnover in July). Only had 6 bath towels at first (in a 14 person condo), but more were delivered quickly when we asked! Again, that’s a cleaning service issue. As always, not all parents watching kids at the pool, so lots of bad choices made on the slide (babies, pushing/shoving). We saw the guard correct it once, but you almost need a full time pool attendant there for safety. Best to go early am to the pool if you have littles or just prefer rules to be followed. Boardwalk was pretty narrow (not a 2-way street when everyone has carts/chairs and is stopping to use hoses along it), but manageable.

The beach access, the pools, the parking and the text and emails helping us prepare for our trip were above expectations. We have already decided as a family that we will be back!

2023 Vacay

We had a great stay here at the Phoenix Rentals. It was a nice location and a very nice place that had everything we needed. The only complaint I would say we had was that the outside pool was FREEZING cold, therefore my grandkids did not want to slide or play in the wade pool. That was a disappointment but thankfully there was the indoor pool. Overall, it was great

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views were wonderful and my favorite part of the condo. The furniture could have been better and more comfortable especially the couch and the king size bed- it was noisy and squeaky. The indoor pool was nice but the “lazy river “ wasn’t anything to brag about. Overall it was nice just not sure it was worth the expense.

Wonderful

Girls’ beach trip was amazing. There were 12 of us and we all had plenty of room. The condo was very nice and updated. It was also located on a lower level near the stairs so it was a quick few steps to the lobby and the beach. The toilet paper holder was off the wall in one of the bathrooms. That was the only thing that we saw that needed fixing. Overall an excellent condo and relaxing weekend!

Family Travel

Great location, easy access to parking, beach and pool. Our group of 9 felt comfortable. Would question 14 people. Disappointed that basic necessities weren’t provided (I.e. toilet paper, basic condiments for cooking, salt & pepper, Kleenex, dish soap, bathroom soap. Would suggest a curtain to keep hall light from bedroom. The fitted sheets did not fit the master mattress.

Thank you for the feedback. We have contacted the cleaning company about the fitted sheet. We do leave a starter set of paper products including toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, bath soap and shampoo. Please let us know if we can help with a future stay!

Wonderful Stay!!

The unit is spacious! We had plenty of living space for our group. We were missing a few things so I contacted Michael and we had the items an hour later! Now that’s service! There are security folks around the condos at all times so the property felt very safe. The staff at Phoenix took care of the property always cleaning everything, even the grills every day. This unit is on the third floor so we were able to park on the same floor and walk a very short distance to our condo. We had folks ages 12-75 and everyone had an absolute BLAST!!

Wonderful place

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property! Being directly on the beach, it’s perfect for family trips, with various ages coming and going from the beach at different times. The two pools are fantastic, and the kids LOVED the slide. We had a couple of days of stormy weather, so be aware that even the indoor pool closes if there is lightning in the area. Understandable, I guess, but hard to explain to the kids. The kitchen is fully outfitted with pots, pans, dishes, etc, which is great for cooking in. Suggestion for the owner - please replace the kitchen faucet. It is loose and won’t swivel, and is so frustrating to try to use. Also the shower heads are below par for a property at this price. Overall we loved it, and had a great week!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed in the Phoenix Gulf Shores 301 condo the week after July 4th. We had a group of 13 with ages from babies to grandparents. It was great! The Phoenix was well maintained and clean. There were 0 issues with the resort. A employee of the resort was always around and available. The outdoor pool was perfect for all ages! The layout allows for sunbathing or a break in the shade. The slide was a huge hit for everyone in our group! The indoor pool was also a fun break from the sun. It is also 0 entry. The hot tubs are inside next to the indoor pool. Ice is available for purchase next to the indoor pool. The gym has more than you’d expect in a condominium gym. There are 80 condos in the building. We rented beach chairs from Ike’s. Doing so reserved our spot on the beach. The beach was pretty full, but totally manageable. You are required to wear a bracelet in the pool areas. The bracelet is removable. When you enter the condo there is a hallway that has 2 bedrooms to the right with a full bathroom conjoining them. There is another bedroom to the left with a bathroom accessible from the hallway and bedroom. At the end of the hall is an open room with the kitchen dining room and living room. The master bedroom/bathroom is the left of the living room. The condo was stocked well with all of the items you’d normally find in a rented condo. There was a blender, plenty of dishes, mixer, can opener, pots, pans, washer and dryer. There was not a crockpot. But we weren’t missing anything we couldn’t live without. There are charcoal bbq grills available next to the outdoor pool. Check the weather though. If lightening strikes they close the pool areas. Communication from the rental team was easy and clear. I received text updates and emails. If anything came up I knew how to get ahold of someone. You are guaranteed 3 parking spots with this condo. Parking was never an issue. I’d stay here again!
