Fireside Villa is a beautiful cabin with all the comforts for your friends and family to enjoy, close to downtown Ellijay. Experience the large fireside outdoor patio, in addition to a covered back porch. Be ready for daily visits from many deer and enjoy feeding them by sprinkling corn from the porch above.

This pristine 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath home has just about everything you could need. With beautiful lodge-style furnishings, our cabin is sure to become a repeat favorite. Bask in the tranquil nature of the Coosawatee wilderness while relaxing in one of the rockers on the porch or while watching deer in the lawn. Enjoy entertaining friends and family around the beautiful backyard fire ring. Our cabin is fully equipped with smart flat screen TVs, fireplace, grill, and a fully stocked kitchen. At Fireside Villa we feel confident you will kick back in comfort and relaxation. We offer two spacious bedrooms on main. One with a Sleep Number split king for the best sleep you can imagine with a private full bath and walk in shower. The second bedroom offers an equally comfortable queen bed with shared full bathroom and shower/tub bath. Cuddle up on one of three comfortable sofas in the great room and enjoy a movie on the smart flat screen in front of a crackling fire. Overlooking the great room is another seating area with games, two trundle beds perfect for the kids, and even a Ms. Pacman / Galaga arcade cabinet for kids AND adults alike. A place for everyone to enjoy spending their time how they choose! The third bedroom downstairs offers a large king bed, mini-fridge, and a private full bathroom. So whether you prefer to spend your time in visiting all that our resort and Ellijay have to offer, or simply want to spend your time away relaxing and sleeping in, we know our home away from home will be a great stay. So make plans to spend some time at this incredible mountain getaway where memories are waiting to be made!

We offer automated check at any time of day after your scheduled arrival. We have a Ring video doorbell that faces the front porch and driveway area, which you can use to quickly alert us if any issues getting in upon your arrival.

Wonderful stay!!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything that we needed for a perfect getaway! We had the best time feeding the deer that wander through the property! We will definitely be back to stay again!

A getaway I will always remember

Those were my mom's words! Overall great trip and friendly neighbors! Just some small things to point out...We wish we could have had some deer feed and the propane grill would have been cleaned properly. Propane grills need more maintenance or they will flare up when cooking. We could have used more towels and linen for the beds upstairs. We brought extra linen, but had to wash towels after swimming. Oh, and the remotes need to be programmed for the proper tv. Please label them. Those are minor things to make sure you bring so you won't have to go out to the stores, which are less than 15 minutes away if you need anything. The host is very responsive, so if you need anything don't hesitate to send a message. The rec center is big and the pool temperature was perfect! Great property!

Great cabin!

We really enjoyed our vacation! The cabin was beautiful and it has everything that we needed. We brought our 2 dogs and it was great because the backyard was perfect for them with the fence. The highlight of the trip was watching the deers visiting the house in the afternoon.

Perfect Mother's Day getaway!

My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing getaway. The cabin was very clean and the hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed. The deer were amazing!! Definitely a memorable weekend.

Magical & Healing stay!!

This cabinet was great! Really good for 3 families or big group w the 3 full baths. Was perfection truly, all the little touches, and the owners were quick and easy to communicate with. Looking forward to booking again soon!

Quiet and Peaceful with Deer everywhere.

We went to unwind and just relax for a while. This home was perfect and spacious for our family. Us hanging out in the living room with a fire going was the best though. The big fire-pit out back was great too. We used it late in the afternoon . You could build a fire and watch the deer walk by while enjoying it, them, and the sunset. The resort has lots of little parks, paved roads, and did I mention deer?

A getaway!

This was our first trip to the mountains. Our stay was amazing! This cabin was truly everything the host said it would be. Very clean, kitchen well stocked. The home was warm and cozy. And the experience with the deers was total different! We definitely stay again!! 5⭐

This was a beautiful home and property. It had everything we need to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The home was very clean and cozy. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The children enjoyed feeding the deer each day. We would recommend this home to anyone and would stay again.

Mountain getaway

This is probably the best VRBO rental I have ever rented. The owners thought of everything! It feels like home away from home. Everything was super clean and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. The experience with feeding the deer was amazing. The guys in our group had a blast competing against each other in Ms. PAC Man. They even provide numerous family friendly games and coloring books and crayons. The owners are super engaging and responsive to any need or request. We have already started planning our next trip to this rental. Can't wait to come stay again!

Beautiful home with great amenities

I don't even know where to begin. The host are helpful and thoughtful. The place was beautiful, clean, and spacious. They supply everything you would need shampoo conditioner and body wash in every shower. Trash bags, sandwich bags laundry soap, spices, cooking oil. You name it they had it there for your use. The house has high end everything...linens, towels, bedding, tvs, furniture and appliances. One of the best things is you can feed deer from the back porch my children thought it was amazing. The gated community is quiet and has tons to do from pools to river access. We didn't even need to leave to find something to do. I would stay here again, maybe every year.

The Beautiful Fireside Villa

Southern hospitality at it finest! The host was amazing and provided all the essentials that usually aren't in these rentals. A fast response time when I had a question. The beds were also very comfortable. That's very important. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the deer visits. The deer were even friendly and not skittish around humans. Definitely on the list of things to do again!

Amazing!

We've been using VRBO for over 12 years and this was by far the best rental we've ever stayed in! Josh and Brandon were in constant contact with us before, during, and after our stay. We had 4 adults and 3 teens, yet there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Every possible need had been anticipated and provided for by the hosts. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and there was even wood for the fire pit. By far the best part for us was the screened in back porch and feeding the deer. We even saw several fawns that still had their spots! We will most definitely stay here again in the future!

The Best!

I have stayed in a lot of cabins. This cabin is by far the cleanest and most well stocked! The owners communication is excellent. They checked in before, during, and after my stay to make sure all is well. The beds are very comfortable, with high quality linens. The kitchen has everything needed, and then some, to make meals. The screened in back porch with ceiling fans is the perfect place to relax. We spent a lot of time on this porch! An added bonus are the large amount of deer that visit everyday. Feed for the deer is provided! This is definitely my go to place to stay in the area going forward.

Situated a few miles from East Ellijay and Downtown Ellijay, the Coosawattee River Resort is a natural community development that spans more than 5,500 acres in the North Georgia Mountains. Nestled around the junction of the Cartecay and Ellijay rivers this rural resort is a perfect mix of nature, fun, and amenities. Amenities offered within the community include parks, tennis courts, a rec center with an indoor pool, a tubing service that runs on the Coosawattee River and more. Please note that some of these amenities require a punch card for access that is available for an additional charge. Please let your Host know if you have an interest in accessing these amenities during your stay so that proper arrangements can be made.

The resort is dissected by 12 miles of the Coosawattee River and is home to Carters Lake. You can fish the river for trout or try your luck at the stocked fishing pond. Eagles, deer, hawks, foxes and turkeys make their home among the lush 8,500-acre forest surrounding CRR.
