We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Its location at the very top of Veliko Brdo is stunning. Right behind the property, the mountains rise steeply, creating an impressive backdrop. The view of the sea is fantastic. The grounds are extensive, which ensures peace and privacy, and the many terraces offer plenty of options to relax or to step aside for some quiet time. The viewing platform above the house provides a phenomenal panorama. We also loved the terrace with the outdoor shower, which was both relaxing and refreshing on hot days.The living room is tastefully furnished. The house is well equipped, , and the air conditioning was very helpful in August. The kitchen had everything we needed. The garage was a real benefit in the summer heat, and two mountain bikes are also available, although we didn’t use them due to the temperatures. A car is essential, as the road up to the house is very steep.Makarska can be reached in about 10 minutes by car without traffic, but in August it was very crowded and travel times were significantly longer. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, with many public beaches nearby. We especially enjoyed visiting Biokovo with the drive up to the 1700m-high Sveti Jure, as well as the Cetina River, which is about a 30-minute drive away, and was very refreshing!Finally, Tome was a wonderful host. He provided helpful information and was always available whenever we had a question. We truly appreciated his warm hospitality.
