Perfect house for couples

My friends and I spent 2 weeks in May in Marijana's house. The location is a perfect combination of all that nature and the town have to offer. The house is surrounded by nature, so the atmosphere is peaceful. The beach is really beautiful and offers many activities. There is a barbecue, which we used most of the nights to prepare dinner. This house is an ideal place for couples that just want to hang out and relax. Highly recommend!

This was a highlight on our month long European trip. Beautifully appointed, spacious, amazing outside spaces including a wonderful pool we loved swimming in daily. It is up a hill which we had some trouble finding ONLY because our GPS and phones failed the day we arrived. Amazingly, the family who built it came down to town and led us back to the house which was beyond kind. They are a warm, accommodating family and they built this for themselves so it is a super special home. We loved the nearby local restaurants for dinner and highly recommend staying here. You will enjoy the peace and quiet, drop dead water views, as well as relaxing in the home.

Perfect escape in nature!

Complete peace and isolation was the part we enjoyed the most. This home has it all, It is compact and really cosy. You really feel at home here. We had a really nice weather during our stay so we could soak up the sun and just enjoy the amazing view over the sea and islands, which is to say better in live than the picture can show. Since we are outdoor family, the location was perfect for us. We enjoyed not only the sea but also hiking in the nature park nearby. The host was always at disposal and we gave valuable tips for planning our vacation. Recommend sincerely!

Comfortable villa with stunning views

Very clean and well equipped large villa, with fantastic views. The owners were helpful, and replied to any questions quickly. The villa was ideal for relaxing in, with sunny spots and shady areas for some relief! Kitchens were very well equipped so cooking on nights in was easy, bedrooms were comfortable and living areas were big enough to have plenty of space. Air conditioning was in the living areas, but kept the whole property sufficiently cool at night. It is very peaceful, but not far by car to shops, restaurants, bars etc. It was quite a walk into town and the beach, but there were car parks at the bottom of the hill to save the long walk back up! The local restaurant was well worth a visit, both for the view and the food. It was a great base for a beach holiday, although if you walk slightly away from the main beach you can find quieter areas as the main town beach was very crowded. You can also explore the islands on one of the many boat trips from the harbour, We enjoyed simply meandering along the coast line, either in the car and finding little villages, or on foot along the coastal footpaths. Split, Trogir and Omis were good for days out. Fantastic property in a lovely area.

Excellent villa

We had a fantastic time staying in this excellent villa. Spotlessly clean. Good location outside of the main town. Quiet, but within easy walking distance of 2 good restaurants. Stunning view from the villa. Lovely pool- more of a plunge pool, but big enough for the kids to cool off! Excellent communication with the host Marijana. Both Marijana and her brother could not have been more helpful for us. Would thoroughly recommend the villa and Croatia.

Fantastisch!

Wie verbrachten 2 Wochen in diesem gemütlichen Haus und haben es genossen! Es ist super ausgestattet, sauber und geschmackvoll möbliert. Marjana und ihre Familie waren unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben selten solch gastfreundliche Gastgeber erlebt. Danke dafür! Also wer etwas Ruhe abseits der Touristenmassen sucht, ist in diesem Haus genau richtig. Trotz ruhiger Lage ist man in 5 Fahrminuten am Strand und in Makarska. Die Küste der Makarska Riviera ist spektakulär. Trotz vielen Touristen hat es ihre Authentizität nicht verloren. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Wonderful Holiday!

It was really great location, the owners were really nice and we felt very welcome. The areas is amazing, The View on the ocean was really beautiful. 5 Stars!

Un séjour magnifique!

La maison correspond en tout point à sa présentation! Elle est chaleuresement décorée avec beaucoup de goût et d'une propreté irréprochable! Parfaitement située au-dessus de Makarska, dans un lieu calme avec une vue magnifique sur la mer, cette demeure dispose de tout ce que l'on peut rêver pour passer un merveilleux séjour. Les propriétaires sont disponibles, accueillants et bienveillants! Une maison que je ne peux que conseiller à tous futurs hôtes!

What a treasure

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this incredibly well presented and spotlessly clean house. We loved being a 5 minute drive up the mountain to have our own space especially as we were visiting in peak tourist time. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed our 5 day stay enormously. It is well located and very easy to drive to other beaches and towns along the Croatian Riviera. Both Marijana and her son are truly charming and helpful and we fully recommend this property.

A dream vacation - nature and sea

We had such a lovely holiday! Extremely satisfied with the house, especially downstairs. We found there peace and quiet, the weather was perfect for us. our young hosts also. answered every question two middle-age couples had.. Loved rakia!

peaceful house with an amazing view

We had a wonderful time in Marijana's house. The house is very cosy and perfect for family. We spent evenings outside around the barbecue and enjoying sunsets. Location is very good because you can easily get to the wonderful beach and around Makarska Riviera. We really enjoyed every sec in this house. ;)

This is a dream home for a late spring vacation!

I came here with 4 of my friends to celebrate my graduation and we had the best time ever. The house is spacious and has everything you need (WiFi, satellite, big TV, dishwasher...) and the garden is simply adorable, with a hammock and comfy chairs! It has a bbq, so naturally we bbqed almost every day!!! We had an amazing stay and somewhere in between all the bbq and sunbathing on the terrace we took hikes around the village Veliko Brdo - also amazing views! All in all, will definitely come back here and enjoy the sun and the sunset of Makarska. p.s. lovely + kind hosts <3

My family and I had a lovely holiday here. We were close to everything,the city,the beach, but still enjoyed privacy and landscape. Truly relaxing time.. Definitely feels like home.

A great family holiday

The house was lovely decorated and the view was amazing! We couldn't believe the peaceand quiet we found there and we really enjoeyed our afternoons berbecuing in the garden and having drinnks the terrace.
