Simple Blessings - Soundfront cottage with dock and boatlift - ask for discount

Open floor plan overlooking Bogue Sound with your own private dock and boat lift! Relax on the main level sound front covered deck and unwind as the sun sets. Enjoy your morning coffee from the covered master suite deck, also overlooking the sound. Build a fire and roast marshmallows over the brick fire pit overlooking the water. Included with your stay are two stand-up paddle boards as well as two kayaks for you to explore the sound and potentially catch your own fresh seafood. The beautiful Atlantic Ocean is less than a block's walk from your beach house. Other amenities include a large high-top dining table to seat up to six, large and comfy sectional couch. The bedrooms include (Master Suite) 1 King Sleep Number bed, (Guest 1) 1 Queen bed, (Guest 2) 2 twin beds. Convenience Store and Dollar Store are also within walking distance to pick up any last-minute items. Inquire about discounts for military, first responders, teachers, and senior citizens. Pets welcome with prior approval (some limitations apply). Unit is part of a duplex.

This vacation house was perfect for my pup Kelly it was nice to be able to just let her out to do her mess and it was clean. The host Max is awesome starting with easy access and the ice cream treat we received. The house was spotless and we really enjoyed the dock the views and the short walk to the beach! Awesome

We had a lovely long weekend stay and so enjoyed the amazing views of the Intracostal Waterway from the back porch. Pelicans flew by often and sunset from the dock was beautiful. The beach is an easy walk across the road if you want to go put your toes in the sand, but would need a.cart if hauling lots of stuff or little ones. We appreciated Max being easy to communicate with and available as needed. The house is at the end of a short cul-de-sac, so is nice to not.be on a busy road and having a fenced back area was nice for taking the dog out. It took about 30 minutes to Morehead City waterfront which has nice restaurants and shops.A great stay!A great stay!

We booked with Max and it was such an easy process. This place was perfect for our first visit with our dog. We especially liked all the water activities available to us on the sound side! Very quick walk to the beach and a great host!

4 Generations Vacay

We had a wonderful time. The location was great. The Bogue Sound on one side with a private pier and a short walk to the beach on the other side. We took our beach chairs out on the pier at night and had wonderful peaceful experiences. Max was a great host. Very good at communication. Gave us lists of restaurant ideas and activities around the area. He was like communicating with a friend and not just a host. Loved the fenced in yard for the pups.

We had a fabulous time at Max's beautiful property It was clean, well stocked and had the most spectacular views This was a special trip due to it being my 5 month old grandson’s first family vacation so i wanted comfort and we had that and more see you again soon max

Great time

We had a great time at "Simple Blessings". The house was clean and in a great central location. So many close options for dining and exploring the small towns in the area. The private dock was great for fishing or just hanging out and there were plenty of kayaks at the house for our use. The beach was a short walk across the street. The owner was great, and gave us alot of suggestions for dining and other things to do. We would definitely say here again.

Excellent Property

This was our first time renting sound side and we loved it. We rented this house as our family brought kayaks to put in the sound. It was perfect!! The public dock right beside the private dock to the house was so easy to get in and out. This house is located in the narrow part of the island so it was a very short walk across the street to hit the beach. Clean home, had everything we needed for our week getaway, would definitely rent here again. Max the homeowner was very responsive and gave some great tips for our trip. The surprise sweet treat was a huge hit as well! Gorgeous water views! Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location and the dock is great!

Great place away from all the retail and traffic of Emerald Isle. The beach is a quick 2 minute walk (has a life guard tower there) and the dock into the sound is great - offers relaxing sunrises and sunsets of the sound. And great for fishing! The house is more than enoug for 2 people or plenty large for even 6. Kitchen is fully equipped and the fan on the stove top was great. We used the linen service provided and there were plenty of towels and wash clothes. Max was responsive to all our queries and a good host.

Location, Location, Location

My family and I stayed at Simple Blessings August 17-24. The location was perfect! We were right on the sound and the beach was right across the street. The property was wonderful and sitting on the top deck outside of the master bedroom in the early morning was gorgeous and serene. The host, Max, was fantastic! Communication was top notch and he gave great dining suggestions. Thank you Max for having us at your wonderful property. Looking forward to our next stay!

Great Location!

Comfortable open floor plan beach home that was located within feet of the sound and super close to the ocean! Well stocked kitchen with convenient pantry storage. Lots of natural light with great sound views. Easy walk to the beach or you could load up and pay to park at the public beach access. The host was very responsive and provided great information! Look forward to booking again!

Great Vacation

This house is amazing! Short walk to the beach but I would recommend a wagon or something to put all your beach stuff in. The beach was busy Saturday and Sunday because it is by a public parking lot but the rest of the week was not busy at all. Life guard perch was right by where we set up everyday. The dock and the sound side are fantastic with sunrise and sunset everyday. I didn't fish but people were fishing everyday on the other docks. I would stay here again for sure! Emerald Isle is our favorite beach and place to take our vacation.

Absolutely perfect

We had an absolutely magical week staying at Simple Blessings! Max was the most curteous host we've ever had. The home was clean upon arrival. The view of the sound was just perfect. Having a fenced back yard made bringing our dogs a completely stress free vacation, and that is important to us! We caught crabs and fish off the pier, and our dogs absolutely LOVED swimming in the sound. The location to the ocean is easy access and easily walkable. The beds were VERY comfortable, we slept so good! We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Best of both worlds

View of the sound was just perfect. So peaceful just sitting on the decks looking over the water. Best part was the beach was just across the street. We could experience both each day. Loved it!

Perfect location for everything water!

Property was awesome! Our teenage children love everything water, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, crabbing out of your own backyard. Beautiful views from the multistory decks out the back. Walk right across the street to the ocean beach. Can’t beat it! Our Host was super helpful, and accommodating. We will be back!

Yearly seaside reunion

Wonderful home between sound and ocean ! So easy for our fishermen to walk across the street and for the ladies to find shell treasures. Lots of conk shells , dolphins and birds spotted Excellent lifeguards on duty whom we needed when my friend fell ! When there is low tide small pools form for kids to sit in ! House is as described but beware of steps inside and only wear shoes or non slip socks ! Lots of wonderful porches to sit on and a back yard Though the weather was cool we did so enjoy the peace and quiet. Owner left welcoming messages and a delicious ice cream cake ! Sun rises were spectacular .Thank you Blessings !

Good value

We stayed here for 4 nights so my spouse could relax awhile given his hectic schedule. We also traveled with our lab and are appreciative for the house being pet friendly. The house was just as described in listing and clean. Unfortunately the weather for our stay wasn’t good but we made the most of it. Location to beach is just across the street and house is on sound side. Emerald Isle has beautiful beaches and very family oriented. 7 minutes to restaurants and great walking/bike paths.

Great Emerald Isle Inland Waterway Location

This house is ideally located on the inland waterway with close proximity to the beach. We enjoyed inland water views from the house deck and from the pier. We also enjoyed walking the beach with ocean water views. The house owner went above and beyond in not only providing needed check in information, as well as local restaurant and activities recommendations. We were impressed.

Peaceful

We had a peaceful time at the house. It's nice to have access to the sound and kayaks. It's an easy walk to the beach. Max made everything easy by sending detailed information and communicating throughout the weekend as needed.
