Family & Pet Friendly Retreat

Let the stress of your life end and the adventure of vacation begin, the minute you pull into the drive way. Set away from the road and surrounded by trees this is the perfect coastal escape. Adorable 3 bedroom/2bath beach cottage. Lots of space when you first walk in the door, with an open kitchen/family room plan. Kitchen bar that seats 5 and table/chairs for 4. After dinner enjoy the backyard Gas fire pit with swings ,hammock and lots of privacy .If you would like to sit and watch TV and enjoy the firepit in the front of the house and enjoy watching your dogs in fence you have a perfect sitting area . Has totally Fenced in Yard for your 4 legged family member. The deck is gated as well but has access to the fenced yard so you don't have to ever worry about your dog getting out. You can relax on the porch or under the gathering area outside and watch your babies or baby play in the yard
Ready for bed, no problem, there are two queen beds and a set of double bunk beds which gives plenty of room for every family member to stretch out and have a space of their own. There is a TV in every bedroom/family room and Wifi throughout. Take your pick, walk in shower or shower/tub combo. Cool features of this house include a large front porch(with dog gate) to sit on after a full fun filled day at the beach, or walk around and grill out on the back patio. Want to go "totally island", try the outdoor shower, you'll never want to shower inside again. Very short walk to the beach, but just in case you need some extra hands, we have a beach caddy. And don't forget to use our Men's/Women's/Children's bikes to take a ride to the the local ice cream parlor after dinner.
Bring your clothes because that is about all you will need. sheets, towels, beach towels, chairs are all included. Lots of parking, so pack up and we will see you at Emerald Isle. Blue sky, white sand, beautiful ocean awaits.

This home is fantastic! So much outdoor areas to hang out, stocked with whatever you could need. So many amenities for kids- toys, sound machines, and books. As a mom of 2 young ones this was such a wonderful thing. The yard is great for the dogs! We stayed in the off season and look forward to returning in the ā€œonā€ season. The communication was Top tier of any rental we have stayed in. HIGHLY recommend!

House was immaculate and perfect for our small family and two dogs. The fenced yard was a nice touch for the doggos and the swing set was great for our 3 year old grandson. We would like to stay again sometime, as it was too cold to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities at the house.

The owner is a very respectful person and you can tell that she loves her dog. She takes care of everybody that comes through the front door no matter if they have four legs or two legs lol it is pet friendly to the max and the kitchen is basically fully stocked to what you need is very beautiful and very relaxing and peace .

Small but charming, comfortable, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. We all enjoyed it and would love to go back. Kids loved the swings, hammock and bikes, and pup loved the fenced in yard and gated porch.

10/10 EXCELLENT!We had a great time vacationing at Emerald Isle! We couldnā€™t have found a better, dog friendly, convenient, and comfortable place to spend our week than Emā€™s Beach Bound! Our two small fur babies loved the covered front porch and fenced-in yard. We loved that everything that we needed and more was furnished. From really nice bicycles for the whole family and beach gear to kites to fly on the beach. Linens, towels, cooking equipment, nice gas grill, lots of relaxing outdoor areas to savorā€¦.everything! We enjoyed feeding the birds, swinging on the swing set, and lounging in the hammock on the hillside. And, the DVD collection was amazing! I wish we could have stayed another week. Thanks Em! Weā€™ll be back!

Another Memory Making Trip

This is our third time staying at Beach Bound and it has become a home away from home. Our yellow lab and golden retriever agree. We love how close it is the beach, shopping, and restaurants. There have been several great upgrades over the years and I appreciate how well stocked it is. Itā€™s always super clean as well- you would never know it was pet friendly. We enjoy going to Rucker Johnā€™s, the aquarium, and Beaufort Parasailing. Mini golf is in walking distance and always fun. We made many great memories on this trip and wish we didnā€™t have to leave.

Awesome location

This is a great place to stay and make memories!! The location is very close to the beach and all the stores on a quiet street with privacy. There are so many places to relax and enjoy the property. Very pretty friendly. Definitely will stay here again!!

Best dog house!

We have stayed so many years on OBX of NC. This area is wonderful. So laid back, great restaurants, this house could not have been better. We both are 72 years of and have a white golden retriever who is 9. She goes on all vacations. This house was perfect. Very few steps, a great porch, a lighted yard with shade and fenced in. She loved it. Inside the house had everything and the owner checked on us several times. Never have had anyone be so kind. Can hardly wait to book again. This was a 10 week - and I loved all the magazines ! Thank you again

2025 Family Get away

The house was perfect inside and outside. The kitchen was well equipped just like being at home. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard and there were plenty of places to sit outside. The house was very clean and it easily accommodated 4 adults and our dog. We will definitely return again.

Beach Vacation

Nice property - had everything we needed and then some - very close to stores and restaurants in a decent residential neighborhood - dog loved walking the neighborhood and there were several ways to go, so we chose a different direction every day - Close to beach access area, but this house has a private yard and the area was very peaceful when we were there. This is a great place if you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

Wonderful spring break at Beach Bound!

Our family of 4 humans 2 doggies had another wonderful week at Beach Bound. This is our second time staying here and we will be back again! The house is great, so many things are provided - toiletries, all linens (including beach towels!), paper towels, toilet paper, all soaps, etc. Very comfy beds. Itā€™s super dog friendly and has a great fenced in yard and porch. The dogs loved hanging outside listening to the birds and watching the cats across the street. I think our favorite thing was the outside shower! Easy walk to the beach (just down the road) and she provides carts, chairs, umbrellas, and toys. The beach was not crowded at all for being spring break. The internet was a bit spotty for us (esp if we were all on devices) but we made it work. Thanks Mary for sharing your house with us. We canā€™t wait to come back!

Great Spot for a Vacation

I have lived on Emerald Isle for almost 10 years and have had a second home here for almost 25 years.. I fell in love with the small town atmosphere and family friendly beach community... I bought this house less than 6 months ago with the intent of hoping families and family pets could enjoy a week of vacation with less stress of leaving your other family member at home alone..

Everyone should be able to bring there 4 legged family members with them on a "FAMILY " Vacation .. So here is the perfect place to make memories.. You are within walking distance of EVERYTHING :: Bike path , Shopping, Eating , Pier , Beach , Sound, Movies... Drug Stores. Once you arrive you will have no need for your Car.. you can walk or BIKE to EVERYTHING...
