Fantastic soundfront home with Inground Pool!!

This is a fantastic sound front home with breathtaking views and excellent amenities. Our 4 bedroom is as comfortable as the Crystal Coast has to offer. . It has 7 Color cable TVs, a pool table and stunning in ground swimming pool. There is 1 refrigerator in the kitchen and 1 in the Cabana room by the pool. A cute Tiki bar, loads of room and fun for the whole family. There are 2 King beds, 1 Queen bed, 2 twin beds and a day bed, 2 sleeper sofas, 3 full baths and 2 half baths provide all the comforts of home. Bring the whole family to enjoy the massive back yard that spills into Bogue Sound, bring some fishing poles and a cast net and catch the freshest most delicious seafood in the world!!
Wonderful new 16 mile walking and biking path in Emerald Isle.

This location was a perfect spot for our multi-generational family reunion. The beach access was perfect, with a safe road crossing right in front of the house and just 5 minutes to access the pristine beach of Emerald Isle. The back porch to overlook the pool and sound was where we spent a great deal of our time. It was in the shade most of the day until late afternoon and had ample seating for our group of 8 for seated meals outside.The house had 4 lovely bedrooms and one multi-use room on the ground floor with a pull out day bed. The kitchen was well equipped with all dish, glass and cookware you might need. The lower level bathroom, fridge and mini-kitchen were a plus for quick access from the pool area.The garage had 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella and a beach trolley for our use, as well as a larger sun umbrella to use at the pool. The pool was serviced twice during our week stay.Joyce was available for any questions and we resolved a discrepancy regarding if paper products were provided (originally stated so in the listing, then it was removed).

Relaxing family vacation

The property was a great size for our family. Plenty of rooms and beautiful sunsets from the deck. Pool was great to get cooled off. The beach was just across the street and very quiet. This is our second time staying at this property and had a great time!

Hurricane Debby week

The house is lovely and comfortable. However, i must mention that while it is listed on VRBO, this house is managed by a property company. This shouldn't be a problem but somehow they or the owner believe that the VRBO rules do not apply to them. I never received check in instructions until i reached out to ask for them. The reply was "text me at 3pm or LATER on day of check in and i will send you the code". I was beyond belief and livid! After 6 emails back and forth and ONLY after i reminded them that they have a signed contract and payment in hand, did the manger consent to text me the code at 3pm on arrival day. I could go on and on but suffice it to say i dont want to be fussing around wondering how were going to access the property after 2 grueling days of travel. If you book through VBRO dont let them bully you. We are not the "step child" in this contract. Anyway, the house is perfect. Clean, spacious, very well appointed and very comfortable. This is our annual family reunion and we all rent houses all over the island. This is our favorite house so far. Even though hurricane Debby hit and lingered all week, the house was quite secure and having been through Ira a few years back, we have since chosen houses not oceanside. This experience wasnt that bad. We were able to enjoy the week and each other once we all got over the idea of the weather. I will say that the management company did come and secure all the outdoor furniture so they did pull through on their respons

We have stayed at Emerald isle several times at different properties: Pebble Beach, Southern Malibu and a couple other properties. We had a great week. The house accommodated us and was in a good location. Maybe just needs a few updates, the pool area was great. All of the beds slept amazing, we would definitely recommend and stay there again.

A bit deceiving

We were very excited for our stay in Emerald Isle. The property was spacious and the pool was lovely. I donā€™t stay at a lot of VRBOā€˜s so I was surprised with the email that I needed to bring all of my paper products, i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags, we were greeted with dog waste by the pool, sticky table and several very friendly, but unwelcome cockroaches, both outside and inside the house. The location is deceiving, as it is in the middle of 2 lots that have trailers on them. Not quite the secluded luxury that the picture entails. We did have a lovely time with family, renting bikes and going to the beach and playing in the pool.

Amazing views

The house was spacious and well furnished. Lots of natural light. The short walk across the street to the beach was great for little feet! The dock out back for fishing and crabbing was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome house!

Awesome experience! The house was in a great location and the property was clean and well stocked. We spent my family Christmas there and we would love to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Only suggestion for the owner would be to try to get rid of the sand spurs. I know that is a NC staple.

Thanksgiving family getaway

We booked the property for a family Thanksgiving getaway. Due to health related issues our Mothers ended up not being able to join us so my husband & I had the house to ourselves. Our daughter & extended family stayed in 208 Emerald which is also a great property. The entire group gathered at Blue Sapphire for our Thanksgiving dinner. The open layout was perfect. While some cooked, others played cards at the dining table, others shot pool & a group planned their Black Friday shopping strategy but we were all in close proximity to each other so that no matter what you were busy doing you were still included in other family members discussions. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Beach access was an easy walk across the street. For anyone with mobility issues the public access parking lot is just a minute up the street. The location & the house were perfect! Communication with Joyce could not have been better! We look forward to staying here in the future.

Nice home - near beach access

Home was clean - with large decks. Has some age to it - older appliances / cabinets / carpet and proximity to road created traffic noise during the day.
