Nice place

Stayed with my family over Easter. Great location, close to everything. We rode our bikes, took walks on the beach and even played pickle ball at the local park.

Great location and close to SLO

We had a conference in SLO and this was a great location that was near the water and only a short drive to SLO. Lovely home in a great location - thank you!

Cute beach home

Nice house just needs a really good deep cleaning. If you plan on taking your dogs, they are not allowed on the beach right there. You will need to drive them to a dog beach

Great place to stay for central coast getaway

Nice pet friendly property just a black from the Morro strand. Has nice front porch to relax in the sun and listen to the ocean. Backyard easy to let pets out and clean up after. Great location to explore the beaches and wineries on the central coast.

Wonderful

Short trip to visit family in the area. Quick walk to the beach was wonderful. The house was beautiful and warm and change and I would absolutely love to visit again.

Great place to stay for families

This is an older beach home, not updated but it is perfect for a family/extended family group. It was comfortable and the location was great. We enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving weekend with our family! It was a good choice for us. It is dog friendly which was a plus for us. No dishwasher but that wasn't a problem for us.

Perfect Place!

We had a great time - this house is absolutely perfect for a family with lil kids or adult children who like to stay up a lil. The bedroom they made out of the garage is GREAT because 2 nice long rooms are at one end then the other side of the house is what we called the “game party room” u close that door and the adults have the whole house to themselves.

Wonderful time

This property was perfect for us. We brought our dogs so we could take them to the dog beach. The beach was an easy walk from the house. The property had everything we needed: comfy beds, lots of kitchen equipment to make our meals, a fenced back yard, and flexible hosts that were able to accommodate us when we decided to stay longer. We had a great time.

A wonderful time

My family consisting of my 87 year old father, sister, niece, and nephew had such a nice time staying in this rental. It was so roomy, well appointed, and comfortable. We loved the outdoor seating areas with the fire grill. We had great bonding time making s’mores and laughing. We had great sleep as the beds were so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy walk to the Beach!

My family of 4 stayed over Memorial Day Weekend. The location and distance from the beach was fantastic. The house easily swallowed us. With the bunk room, we could have slept 6 more people, but the house really would not be big enough to accommodate that many. The dining room table is only big enough for 6, and with no dishwasher, you won't want to be washing everyone's dishes!The house is in need of some upgrades-the shower head in the master bath is too low for anyone over 5' 4". Another counter or rolling island in the kitchen would be helpful (and there's space for it). The backyard could be a great place to hang out with a little time spent on the landscape, but as it was, it was not a place you wanted to spend time. Better patio furniture out front would be nice as that has the best view of the ocean. Overall, we rated the location a 5 but the house a 3.5. But, if you are just looking for a place to sleep and want to spend most of your time at the beach, this is the house for you.

Quiet retreat

We enjoyed the property. Beds were comfortable. Close to beach. We did not realize bunk beds were in the converted garage. A little musty smelling in the garage room. Also there had clearly been a cat there which bothered some in our party who are allergic. Overall it was just what we wanted.

No Dishwasher!

Never did a vacation rental without a dishwasher. Love the location, but no dishwasher? Thermostat for the home was old spring technology, cant heat the entire home, one side of home hot, other side freezing cold, no exterior light in front of garage for safety. Half the dishes were dirty when we arrived, we had to clean them before we used them, did I mention no dishwasher... Cookware was as cheep as it gets. Not enough toilet paper and paper towels. This place has so much potential, if they fix this stuff I would stay here twice a year because of the location to the beach.

Panay House

The house was not sanitized - fingerprints and stickiness on refrigerator, stove, handles, cupboards, etc. Overall cleanliness was acceptable for the weekend. Microwave plate did not fit microwave and therefore didn't heat consistently. Need more foil ;-)

This property’s location is great, and it could be a really wonderful option if the owners actually took care of it. Unfortunately there were several very basic issues that made our stay unpleasant enough that we checked out early and stayed in a hotel. When we communicated these problems to the owner they didn’t even bother to respond so I’m pasting the same message below that was sent to them. —Hi, we vacated the property early and followed all check out directions.We moved to a local hotel because we were not satisfied with your property. - The water heater makes horrible, loud banging sounds any time hot water is running. Impossible to sleep in the nearby bedroom while this is happening.- The bathtub is blocked from being filled by the faucet attachment which cannot be removed. It takes an unreasonably long time to fill, to the point of being useless.- The beds are either worn out or so soft that all adults couldn’t sleep well and had back pain.- There is no good lighting in either bedroom. One room had no lamps at all, the other had a broken lamp, and the ceiling lights were awful and harsh like garage lights.- The yard furniture is falling apart and filthy, the sliding door to the yard is broken and cannot open, and the BBQ was rusted out (we had to scrub it just to use it).It seems like very basic issues are being ignored at this property, which would be somewhat understandable if they had been mentioned in the listing.

Nice stay

We enjoyed our stay and loved the proximity to the ocean! The road noise unfortunately made it so we couldn’t hear it the majority of the time. We had perfect weather and enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the sun. The house was clean and the bunk room was my daughter’s favorite. It’s a great room but could use some updating. Would also be nice to have a dishwasher, it’s hard to trust how well others wash before you. I wasn’t a fan of starting our laundry before we left. I’ve never stayed someplace where I had to do that, especially considering we pay a cleaning fee. First world problems- lol. Overall, the house was great and we enjoyed ourselves and were able to relax.

Great neighborhood, that's about it

Our check-in started out very rough with the incorrect address given by the property manager which resulted in us trespassing on another property managed by the same company.Upon arrival at the correct address we were pleasantly surprised by the homes proximity to the beach, and then immediately / throughout our visit inconvenienced by surprising and easily fixable issues with the house. - Front and backyard are overgrown with weeds and patches of mud everywhere, fire pit pictured is definitely not safe or functional - Sliding glass door almost fell out of the frame multiple times, desperately needs replacement - No dishwasher in the kitchen, also no dish drying rack so be prepared to be doing dishes by hand and drying them on towels all over the small countertop space, the tray in the microwave doesn't even fit the microwave, how do you even get the wrong one??? - Furnace is right outside of the bedrooms and incredibly loud so when running the heat at night (essential this time of year) I was awoken about every 10 minutes as it came on and off - The "bunk room" is a charming idea but in reality is a barely converted garage with filthy carpets and a scary space heater and is extremely dark - The master shower is tiny, and the drain is so backed up that you are in ankle deep water within a minute + a rusted wire shower caddy that isn't stable enough to hold even a bar of soap, I mean c'mon it would cost $10 to fix this - There were bits of food under and in the couch
